The Fallen Consort

After receiving the money from the Rongyu Auction House, They left instantly. Yi Ling was eager to have a good meal, a warm bath and some decent clothes. She feels filthy and nasty. Though she dressed up like a man, she didn't like it that much. Just a need to. She would rather be carefree and wear some pretty dresses. A young maiden can only dream.

With Yi Ling's instructions. Linyu found them a place to rest, named Guanxu Inn. Located near the square. He booked only one room, Yi Ling will be staying at it while he goes back inside the ring to rest later. Yi Ling decided to take a warm bath first, while Linyu went to buy his master some new robes.

He decided to buy her some light purples robes. He was quick with this task. He set the clothes on the bed. Linyu telepathically informed Yi Ling where her new clothes were and that he will scout the area while she was taking a bath. See if he can find anything that she needs.

When Yi Ling thought she was clean enough, she got out of the tub. She tied her ??h??st , got her new robes on and fixed her hair. She was satisfied with her outfit. She then put her mask back on, she decided to wear it at all times except for bathing. When she was done, Linyu informed her that he is outside waiting. He also told her that he found the location of the herb market that Mu Xin suggested.

Yi Ling went out to meet Linyu at the square, she wanted to eat first before doing anything else. Now that she doesn't look like a servant, she walked with him side by side. They attracted a bunch of ladies. Even with the masks on, They emitted an aura of noble young masters. Especially Linyu, since he was more well mannered than Yi Ling.

Linyu brought Yi Ling to one of the most expensive restaurants in the Kingdom, This was Yi Ling orders. Now that she had the money, she wanted to indulge herself. She devour most of the food on the table. The rest that she couldn't eat, she saved it for Mu Xin. Although Mu Xin doesn't need to eat, doesn't mean he can't. She wanted to share the heavenly foods with him, she blushed while thinking about it. While Linyu on the other hand, didn't eat at all. He only drank some wine, now and then.

Everything went well until someone knocked at their door.

"Young masters, My name is Lu Qian. My Lord wanted to ask if he can dine with you." The voice said on the other side of the door.

Linyu looked at Yi Ling and she nodded. She was curious who wanted to meet them.

"Come in." Linyu's voice sounded authoritative.

A man came in dressed like a scholar along with his servant. They both clasped their fist as a sign of respect.

"My name is Mo Tian and this is my servant Lu Qian. Thanks for letting me dine in with you." He said mildly. He then sat down at the table without waiting for a response. He wasn't used to standing up when there's a chair he could sit on.

When Yi Ling heard his voice, she instantly figured who the person was. Linyu figured it out as well, his instincts were always sharp. The one who bought the sword. It was the voice from Box 3.

"May I know what you need of us?" Linyu asked frankly. He didn't like being disturbed, especially with his new master.

Mo Tian chuckled. "Direct as ever. I like it. Im here to ask if you guys still have any more of the spiritual water." He honestly answered.

Linyu's brows lifted up. Ain't it supposedly sold anonymously?.

"Forgive me. I know it was a secret but I have my means. My people are quite skilled at their jobs." He took a sip on the tea that his servant poured for him.

Mo Tian noticed the look that the host gave at Box 6 when Yi Ling made bid. He then ordered his men to move and get information about them. Only an hour passed and he got informed that Linyu and Yi Ling was new in the Kingdom. They came way early just to speak to the higher ups of the Rongyu Auction House. During the timeframe, they were the only ones who spoke to them and got promoted to the Upper Boxes. If one must know, only powerful groups can sit on the upper boxes. Plus, they made the announcement only tonight. One plus one, he figured what it means. He trusted his guts. He then ask where they were now, His subordinates said that both were staying at Guanxu Inn and now taking a meal at this restaurant. And that's how it came to be. Mo Tian smiled while waiting for their response. Would his guts be right?
