The Fallen Consort

When they were walking by the street earlier.

"Stop!" Mu Xin's voice buzzed inside her head. Yi Ling stopped, "What? Why?" She was confused.

"Go inside that shabby shop". Mu Xin ordered. She did as what Mu Xin said and went inside.

Mu Xin felt the familiar aura getting stronger, it wasn't a mistake. He felt it earlier but it was faint, He wasn't sure until Yi Ling was standing in front of the shabby store.

It was definitely the Divine Harmony Bow. The bow that he specifically made, just for a special someone in the past. His heart felt like someone was squeezing it.

Yi Ling came to a stop in from of a case, Mu Xin guided her to the bow's location. When Mu Xin saw the bow, the pain in his heart increased. He haven't seen this bow for a long time, Since the time that he saw the past owner of it. He didn't know that the bow still existed. He thought that the person destroyed it, so nobody can use it. This lucky encounter brought pain on his ċhėst. His eyes were starting to get blurry because of the tears. He reminisce the past and did spoke a word to Yi Ling anymore. He just kept staring at it.

The Divine Harmony Bow lost its brilliance and its powerful aura, that's why it looked so ordinary now. Though it was like this, Mu Xin can still locate it but only when he is at a certain distance to it. He was its maker after all. He always leaves a divine marker on his creations, like Yi Ling's mask. So he would be able to locate it, in case it gets lost.

Seeing it now was heart breaking. He missed that person so bad. He constantly draw the picture of that person from his memories and hide it inside his study. He can never forget how painful their parting was.

Yi Ling on the other end wasn't sad at all, contrary to Mu Xin. She actually like the look of the bow. She used to do archery with her father when she was young, but she wasn't able to perfectly make one when she was inside the Abyss. She nodded instantly when the shopkeeper asked her.

She didn't heard Mu Xin say anything else after directing her to the Bow's location, Yi Ling didn't mind. She actually wanted to have the bow. Yi Ling ordered Linyu telepathically. To buy the bow, no matter what the price was.

"How much is this bow? Name your price, I'll buy it since my younger brother wants it." Linyu spoke to the shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper's eyes lit up, He wanted to get rid of that bow for so many years. Just that, nobody wanted an old cheap looking bow for the price that he was asking. It look too ordinary, especially that it wasn't used for a long time. He didn't hesitate anymore, seeing that the man looked wealthy anyways.

"The price is 5 Million gold coins." The shopkeeper pursed his lips. This is the point that made him lose all his customers when someone ask for the price.

Linyu handed him the bills. The shopkeeper was shocked! He just bought it just like that? He didn't even have questions? Just because his little brother wants it? Ain't this bow made for a girl? Even though he had plenty of questions in his head, he instantly took the money. Seeing the right amount, he went to unlock the case and handed it to the little brother and smiled.

"Here you go, better take good care of it. Or else your big brother will get mad." He winked at Yi Ling. Yi Ling found the shopkeeper amusing. She accepted the bow and nodded.

Mo Tian's face was full of disbelief. He couldn't believe just what happened. Just because the little guy wanted the bow, Linyu instantly bought it for him. No questions asked. So they were brothers, he rubbed his chin as he thought.

Since Yi Ling got her bow, they left the shop. Mo Tian brought them over to a shop that sells cauldrons. Yi Ling walked around to look for a cauldron that she will be using. Linyu just stood by her side. Mo Tian figured out that the cauldron was for the little brother again. Thinking about this, if he wanted to befriend and get benefits from them; he needed to be on the little brother's good side.

To do this, he helped Yi Ling pick a good cauldron. The Mo Family is on the medical aspect after all. He knows all about cauldrons, he own a couple as well. So he explained to Yi Ling about the Pros, Cons and the difference between the metals used on making the cauldrons. Although Yi Ling didn't say anything, she kept nodding as if she was understanding what he was saying. That was enough to make him happy. Linyu on the other hand just let them be, he knows nothing on this area. He knew that his past master like making concoctions as well, but he didn't saw it on person. So he just followed them silently, like an obedient puppy.
