The Fallen Consort

When Yi Ling arrived. She got her cauldron from the storage room and locked herself inside the clinic. She didn't forget to order Linyu, through telepathy; that she mustn't be disturbed not unless its life threatening. She also mentioned that he has to put on an act that he was still around to shop in the Kingdom, so nobody will get suspicious. Also, to tell Tefei that she might take a while and that they can take turns on watching her body. Linyu gladly accepted his master's orders.

After what was said and done, she instantly went to work. She decided to make a bunch of easier concoctions first before trying out the concoction for the Second Seal. She then prepared the ingredients for Qi Cultivation, Soul Cultivation, Vitality and Spiritual Beasts Cultivation. She wanted to try Linyu's leaves, to see the results of using them as key ingredients. Most of her herbs came from the deal and some of her herbs came from her garden. The results shouldn't be that much if you compared it to using an all spiritual herbs concoction. But she was willing to try and wishing that lady luck was on her side.

After 5 days and all the failures. Yi Ling finally manage to make all the concoction including her Second Seal Concoction. She instantly went back to her body to eat and rest first, before trying it out.

She gave the Spiritual beast concoction to Tefei when she got back. Telling him to use it well, he nodded and was sent back into the ring. While Linyu accompanied her to eat. After Yi Ling had her fill, they went back to her room. Yi Ling gave the Vitality concoction to Linyu.

"I noticed that you must've suffered an injury before. I could tell that you were trying to hide it from me. But you forgot that I can feel your emotions, so I pretended and didn't ask anything about it. Im not sure if it'll work on you but I wanted to give it a try. I couldn't ask Mu Xin since he locked himself inside his courtyard." Yi Ling shook her head.

Linyu was grateful, he didn't know that he was caught by his master. Nobody cared for him before. He accepted the vial and drink it. He sat down crossed-legged on the floor.

After about an hour, Linyu felt much more better than before. Although it didn't heal him all the way, It still helped him out.

After sending Linyu away, Yi Ling went to sleep. She was tired even though her soul was the one awake and her body was sleeping most of the time.

The next day, Yi Ling got Linyu to watch over her body, since Tefei was still cultivating inside the ring.

*BOOM!*

She finally got a breakthrough on her Qi cultivation, she is now on the 3rd Rank of Qi Condensation. She smiled, it would've been more efficient if all the ingredients has spiritual energy.

After stabilizing her new powers, she went ahead to drink the Soul Cultivation concoction. For her soul, it would only help her stabilize it. The seal won't let her breakthrough unless she unlocks them. Mu Xin specifically ordered this, to help her overcome the changes on her soul.

Normal Cultivators have 10 Ranks of Soul Cultivation and only 1 stage. As of the moment, She is only at rank 1. She needs to break 7 seals to be able to go back to being a normal cultivator. But breaking these seals are much harder than trying to get a breakthrough, she thought. She would have to waste a bunch of spiritual herbs for this task.

After drinking it, she circulated the spiritual energy inside her. Feeling her soul melding on to her body in a much better way.

It was night time when she finally got done stabilizing her soul. All this time, she still haven't seen Mu Xin. She felt bad, thinking if she did the wrong move on buying the bow. She tried contacting her via telepathy but she didn't got any response. She didn't tried to go to the west courtyard since Mu Xin firmly kept her out of there. She wanted to talk to him so bad but she was being ignored.

She thought that she'll just deal with Mu Xin later after breaking her Second Seal. Maybe Mu Xin just wanted to be alone for now, she thought and sighed.

She took out the vial and stared at it. Last time she was asleep for 3 days after breaking her First Seal. She hoped that it'll be much easier this time. She thought wrong.

She drink the vial and instantly, she felt pain all over her body. Last time, Mu Xin helped her out by sending his spiritual energy on her to lessen the pain. This time, there was nobody helping her. Due to the extreme pain, she laid on the bed. Her body curled up like a baby. She tried to hold the pain inside and her lips was starting to bleed as she bit on it. The pain gradually increased until she couldn't help herself anymore. She screamed!

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

It was so loud that Mu Xin heard it. He felt the pain on his heart as he heard her screamed.
