The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling was shocked, she had seen those Purple eyes before. The one who had touched her hand and her heart. When she saw this man on her dreams, Her heart felt pain that she even cried. Although Mu Xin can make her heart skip a beat at times, This man in front of her can make it stop. Seeing him again and now that he can finally see and speak with her, her eyes started to cry.

She closed her eyes sensing that she was about to break inside. Why so much pain? Why do I always cry when I see this man? Did we have a past together? She thought. She clenched her ??h??st and started to knock it down with her fist. She couldn't breathe.

Seeing her tears and her actions, King Jin instantly hold both of her shoulders. Fearing that she will faint again. Her soul wasn't all healed up just yet.

"Are you okay? Are you in pain? Speak!" His heart jumped at the thought that she was hurting. She didn't answered as she was trying to calm her heart and her breathing.

Since she didn't replied, he thought of the worst. He lifted her up and carried her back to his quarters.

"Yu Ran! come to this King this instant!" He yelled out loud.

Yu Ran was shocked. Even though he left, he was still close by. Hearing the King's anxious voice, he dashed towards the King's Quarters. Did something happened? He thought, he was worried for the King anyways. Both of them doesn't know the woman's identity or her background. Like she came out of nowhere. No matter where he inquired in this Kingdom, nobody seems to know her.

Back to King Jin's quarters, He laid Yi Ling in his bed. He got her into a sitting position. He handed her a pill and some water. Yi Ling didn't know what the pill was but she knows that the water was a spiritual water. Nobody would waste a spiritual water like this, not even the high ranked kingdoms.

She didn't know why but she trusted him. She accepted the pill and drank it along with the water. Her heart and her breathing started to calm down.

"Are you feeling better now?" King Jin was worried for her, he lifted his hand and checked her pulse. Sensing that the pill was slowly working, he finally calmed down. He still didn't hear her speak up, so he looked up.

He saw staring at him. They looked into each others eyes. His hand lifted up and move some of her hair away to her face. Yi Ling blushed.

Yu Ran in the other hand, arrived to this scene. His eyes were bulging our and his mouth was hanging to the floor. When Yi Ling heard Yu Ran came in, she coughed. Letting the King know that someone was here.

"Bring some food for this King's woman!! and make it hasty!!" King Jin didn't even bother to look at Yu Ran, He kept staring at Yi Ling while his hand were holding her hand.

Hearing the King's order, Yu Ran got his senses back, bowed and left. He had never seen the King holding someone else's hand before, touching someone's hair nor having to see those purple eyes full of adoration. His body shivered. Can someone tell me what's going on!? he dashed towards the kitchen to convey the King's order but before he even reached there, he stopped.

"Hold on a second, Did I hear that right? The King's woman!????" Yu Ran's eyes and mouth went wide again. He instantly shook his head and started running to the kitchen again. He will get a heart attack if this keeps going, he thought. I need some vacation! he cried in his mind.
