The Fallen Consort

The following days were busy.

The Emperor abdicated and let Xiang He ascend the throne. He reasoned that he felt tired and wanted to rest. He wanted to spend his time with his concubines and his little daughters, for the remaining time in his life. He was done with politics.

With the backing of Doctor Yi, the Ministers wasn't able to stop Xiang He from becoming the Emperor. It didn't also helped that the late Emperor backed his son as well.

Xiang Ren's crimes was well known to the Kingdom. He was sentenced to death by his own brother. He had let him lived for too long already. He was worried that if he let him off, he might scheme against the new emperor.

He had later found out that he wouldn't be able to get another son in his life. Due to some medicine he had taken from Xiang Ren. This made him give enough reason to himself, to kill his little brother.

Little did they know that Yi Ling was able to cure him, unfortunately she didn't want to. She wanted Xiang He to be the New Emperor and that was all that mattered to her.

After the big coronation, another big news hit the Kingdom. It was said that a new Sect was built in Xiang Kingdom. No one seems to know about them. What they only know is that the said Sect was recruiting talented youngsters under 30 years old, 3 weeks from the news broke out.

At first, nobody paid attention to it. Later on, news spread that the new Emperor recently joined the said sect. It was called as Blue Rose Sect. As soon as he joined, he gained a lot of benefits. From the early rank, he jumped to mid-rank of Nascent Stage in a span of a month! From being a crippled to 4th rank Nascent Stage. It was indeed news worthy.

The big mountain is called The Red Pass. It was named as such, due to the history of the mountain. Long before, a group of Red Foxes spiritual beasts lived in it. When the spiritual energy got lesser, the Red Foxes wasn't able to reproduce as much. Most of them migrated to the claimed spiritual beast territories. Rumor has it that some still lived there, just that they were too fast that nobody was able to see them.

The Blue Rose Sect decided to meet in the Red Pass Mountain. A lot of the Kingdom's youngsters got excited. Since the New Emperor had joined himself, they all felt like it was a blessing to be able to join.

Some of the older ones that was close to the limit, only joined to gather information. Hence no one knew about the said sect, they were sent by the high noble families to uncover this newly formed sect. Some thought that the same Doctor who cured the new Emperor, had something to do with this new sect.

Due to the given amount of time before the said meet up, news was sent to the surrounding Mid-rank Kingdoms and Low-rank kingdoms as well. Unfortunately, not a lot of the Mid-rank Kingdom bite the hook. The Low-rank Kingdom did though, most of them wanted to test their lucks.

So people who were under 30, travelled as fast as they could to Xiang Kingdom. By the time it was close to the said date, Xiang Kingdom was packed to the brim! The kingdom had never been this lively for centuries. It made the Xiang Kingdom a lot busier than ever!
