The Fallen Consort

"Will I be able to see him again?" Yi Ling said inside her mind, she hugged King Jin as tightly as she could. Her tears was endless.

Mei Ling smiled. Though Yi Ling could never see her. "Yes, If you unlocked all of your Seals. You may be able to see him again. But that would be your choice. If you want to see him again."

Mei Ling looked at King Jin's face. She was happy to know that even without his memories, His heart was still able to recognize who it loved.

Though she did hated King Jin as some point, A million years of longing for her was his punishment. Yi Ling, Soon enough.. You'll be able to understand it all. When that day comes, I hope you will choose a right answer. The one I had never chose.

King Jin lifted Yi Ling's face and wiped her tears. He didn't seem to like seeing her crying. Although her tears made her more stunning.

"Will you go with me?" he wanted to know his past. He wanted answers and nobody seems to know about his past, aside from her and his bastard son.

"Do you trust me, Brother Jin?" Yi Ling asked. She knew it was too much to ask, yet she trusted King Jin as much as she did with Mu Xin.

Hearing his name and being called endearingly, made his heart skipped a beat. He had never said his name to her, which only mean that she did know him.

"Yes, I do Ling'er". He said coyishly. Her name rolled on his tongue naturally. Like he had said that name a billion times before. King Jin tucked some of her hair into her ears.

"I trust you too." Yi Ling wanted to convey her feelings, but was afraid to scare him. For now that was enough.

"Will you wait for me in Jin Kingdom? I promise to meet you there as soon as I can. I still have errands to do here in Huaxia. If you can wait for me, I'll agree to your request that you asked from me before." Yi Ling blushed as she remembered his request.

King Jin was stunned again. She really seems to know him really well. She even knew about Jin Kingdom.

"What request?" He gulped. He had a faint feeling that he did wanted that request.

Yi Ling blushed again. Should she say it? or Not? But before she could say anything, she saw two people standing far behind King Jin.

"Yu Ran!" Yi Ling shouted. He was here as well? Would he not remember her too?

King Jin turned his body and saw his two subordinates. The more she said something, the more it confirmed something in his head. She even knew my most trusted subordinate!

"You know Yu Ran too?" He asked.

Yi Ling smiled. "Yes. Isn't he your trusted subordinate? Aka Dragon of the Golden Knight and you, Brother Jin is the Phoenix." Yi Ling remembered this info, when she had asked King Jin before about Rabbit and Eagle. They were always guarding her so she was curious. Why they were called as such. Since Mei Ling didn't seem to stopped her from telling anything to him, she decided to divulge some small information for him.

Yu Ran was stunned. Even if he was faraway, he could hear their conversations. Since his King didn't dismissed him, he stayed and listened. Nobody knew about him being apart of the Golden Knights and neither his code name. Only its members and King Jin!

"How did you know all of these?" King Jin grabbed both of Yi Ling's shoulders. His eyes were wide, This woman must've been part of his past. He deduced.

"You told me about it." Yi Ling pursed her lips together.

"Hmm.. And what was my request?"

Yi Ling gulped. Since there were people listening, she gestured for King Jin to leaned his head down. King Jin did so and he blushed as he heard her whispered.

His face froze as if to digest it for a second. His heart was erratic and his breathing was uneven. He looked at Yi Ling and saw her blushing as well.

"I said that?" he wanted to confirm.

"Yes, you were adamant about it. No matter how I refused, you wouldn't agree. You said you will wait no matter how long. That you will certainly make me agree to it." Yi Ling recalled their conversation.

"Do you still trust me?" Yi Ling asked again. She knew it was hard for someone without memories to just believe what she just said.

But for some reason, King Jin nodded. In his heart, he believed her.

"I keep my promises. If I did made that promise, Then I will wait no matter how long for you to become my woman." King Jin kissed Yi Ling lips.

That was his request. For Yi Ling, to become his. No matter what happens, he was willing to trust this woman. Though he lost his memories, his judgement never fails him. He could tell that she was telling the truth.

"Then promise me that as soon as you are finish here, you will come and visit me in Jin Kingdom. I will wait for you Ling'er." He ċȧrėssed her soft cheeks. He knew he was already fond of her. Was it love at first sight?

"En. I promise to go to Jin Kingdom to see you. Wait for me." Yi Ling held his hand.

If they really weren't meant to be together, Then she'll treasure this small moments she had with him.

King Jin kissed her hand and her forehead. "Until then my Ling'er... Yu Ran, let's go." King Jin let her hand go and left.

Another tear fell down on Yi Ling's face. It'll be a while before she will be able to see him again. For now, She has to unlock all of her Seals. Her priority changed again. Her heart was no longer hers.

"Since you choose the harder path, then I will tell you a little secret. You're mother is in one of the High Kingdoms. That's all I could tell you."

"Thanks, that's already good enough for me."

"Since the calamity has been taken care of, I will need to go. Take care of Mu Xin and Minzhe for me. I will meet you again when you break your Fourth seal." Mei Ling voice faded on her head.

Yi Ling sighed. She went back inside the sect and went to her chamber. He walked towards the table and grabbed the ring.

Mu Xin who was waiting inside, got excited. She's back! Thank god she's alright! He thought.

Yi Ling gulped, she could sense Linyu's anger and Tefei's amusement. But most of all, Mu Xin glaring at her. Thank God she wasn't connected to Minzhe's emotion, or all hell broke lose. He was angrier than anyone else.
