Chapter 114 - Draconian
Chapter 114: Draconian
Aakesh fed the supreme Primal stone to the black hole and pushed the switch that signified the supreme card. A few moments later, a silver card appeared in his hands.
"Spill a single drop of your blood in that hole," Aakesh informed as he handed the card to Lenna.
Lenna took the card from his hands with curiosity on her face. "How do you know it?" The next moment, a shout escaped from Lenna's mouth as she looked at Aakesh with her mouth and eyes wide open behind the mask.
"What are you talking about?" Evelyn chimed in as she didn't understand what Lenna was talking out, but Aakesh understood the context of her question.
He knew Lenna was talking about the symbol of teleportation. Elves and Dragons have a special relation, as every Elven language has descended from Draconian languages. It was the gift of Dragons to the World tree since they loved sitting on its branches. So as a gift, Dragons became their Gods, and Elves started praying to them.
Lenna couldn't understand its meaning since it was the purest form of Draconian, but still being an Elf and worshipper of the Dragons, she could feel the might of the Dragons from the symbol.
"You don't need to know this," Aakesh expressionlessly responded to Lenna's question.
"Please tell me," Lenna asked, her pride nowhere to be heard in her voice. Only the knowledge of Dragons and the World tree was above the pride of the Elves.
"No need to plead to me. I won't teach you Draconian," Aakesh expressionlessly responded, as he knew where Lenna wanted to go with this conversation, and he had no interest in teaching her anything.
While a surprised look appeared on George and Evelyn's faces as the mysteries surrounding the store became even more mysterious after finding out Aakesh knew Draconian.
Dragons weren't the beings of the Primal dimension, only their descendant's wyrm was, and they too were one of the overlords of the Primal dimension.
"Why won't you? I can pay you as much as you want," Lenna responded as she took out everything she had on her and put it in front of Aakesh. She even forgot her motive for coming here and showed Aakesh every treasure she had on her.
Aakesh, seeing her actions, decided to ignore her and closed his eyes. A dumbfounded expression appeared on Lenna's face, seeing Aakesh closing his eyes in the midst of the conversation.
"Leave it. Aakesh won't change his mind," Evelyn responded, seeing Lenna not giving up.
"But..."
"There is no point in continuing it. Can't you see the indifference Aakesh has in his eyes while he talks to everyone?" George chimed in, seeing Lenna still wanted to speak.
From the moment he and Evelyn had come here, not a single time, he had seen any awe or interest in Aakesh's eyes while talking to them, despite them being Immortal. If he could treat an Immortal like this, then there was no way he would treat Lenna any better.
"Fine!" Lenna responded after staying silent for a few moments. She took a deep breath and returned to her prideful look behind her mask.
Aakesh then chimed in while his eyes were still closed, "Since you've already got a card, you don't have to pay right away to enter Panagea. Every hour you would get an alert, and when your six hours get completed, you would be forced out, and the store would automatically deduct the cost from your card."
"Hmph," Lenna lightly scoffed after hearing Aakesh. She then proceeded toward the portal room. George and Evelyn too followed her with smiles on their faces.
A few moments later, Maria spawned in the store since her stay in Panagea was complete. She then looked at Aakesh, who was resting on his chair with his eyes closed. A smile appeared on her face, seeing the peaceful look on the expressionless face of Aakesh, but the next moment, that smile disappeared, and a nervous look appeared on her face.
Aakesh opened his eyes and looked at Maria, as she had been standing in the same place for the past few minutes and looking nervously at him.
"Senior, have you heard about the race Indotar?" She subconsciously asked the question she was nervous about.
She had received the quest to rescue 100 residents of the town Atley, and she had only been able to protect 42 citizens until now. The raid of the raider was almost complete, so if she didn't save 58 more citizens in two days, she would lose the quest.
Since she couldn't fight the raiders one on one, the quest became more difficult for her. The race of the raiders was Indotar. She wanted someone's advice to complete the quest, and only the picture of Aakesh emerged in her head after thinking like this.
"Yes, I know about them," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.
"Do they have any weakness, senior?" She asked with a red face.
"Seduction," Aakesh responded as Indotar was once one of the most lustful races in the Primal dimension, and this trait of them caused their extinction after they harassed an Immortal's mother.
"Anything other than that," Maria asked as even her ears had turned red from embarrassment.
"Weak eyesight and poor hearing," Aakesh responded. He didn't stop and added, "If you know archery, it would be easy for you to kill them."
"Thank you, senior!" Maria responded and bowed. She then left the store and thought on her way, "Damn it, I have to seduce those monsters."
"Hey, system, do I also get the supreme card?" Aakesh asked the system in his head while waiting for his customer.
[No, Host, since everything in the store is free of cost for you, you don't need the supreme card.]
The system responded in its emotionless and mechanical voice. "Why don't you give me the supreme card with all other skills?" Aakesh asked, as he also wanted the teleportation ability of the card.
[No!]
The system refused straight away. "Okay, give me cards to communicate. It has been many days since I last talked with Lily," Aakesh tried for the last time.
[No!]
The system refused again, as the benefits of the cards were solely for the customers. "Okay, fine. Show me what Lily is doing in Panagea?" Aakesh asked, forgetting about the cards.
The next moment, a black screen appeared and showed him the scenes of Lily in Panagea.. After seeing that, she was fine, he waved his hands, and the screen disappeared.
Aakesh fed the supreme Primal stone to the black hole and pushed the switch that signified the supreme card. A few moments later, a silver card appeared in his hands.
