Chapter 128 - Reward

Chapter 128: Reward

After hearing the alert in her head, Evelyn's face returned to calm. She then looked at Aakesh and saw a blue light in his hand.

Aakesh then stood up from his chair and reached in front of her.

"Here, take it," He expressionlessly said as he extended his hand toward her.

She curiously looked at the blue blob of light and took it. She was an intermediate Heavenly Monarch, so she wasn't afraid of the light, and the store owner has always acted aloof, so she didn't think that he would harm her.

The moment she touched the blue light, it suddenly engulfed the entirety of her.

She was taken aback by the sudden turn of events, but she controlled herself not to act as she didn't feel that it was harming her in any way.

The next moment, the blue light disappeared, and a new memory appeared in her head that explained the details about the reward she had received.

She had gotten a title 'Happy Soul' as a reward for her reaching Level 11.

The title gave her benefits both in the Panagea and the actual world.

In the Panagea, the title gave her increased chances of getting a bonus reward for even the quests that didn't grant any bonus rewards. The reward she would get would always be above the rare grade, with the chances of higher grades treasures decreasing with every upper grade.

In the actual world, whenever she activated the title, it would grant her direction to a lucky encounter. The title didn't come with only good things. It also had a cooldown time of 108 days.

"Good reward!" Evelyn commented after learning all the details of the title.

Aakesh only nodded in response and returned to his chair.

Evelyn didn't directly return to the Panagea, but instead, she came up to Aakesh. She then asked, "What's the next reward for reaching Level 26?"

Every adventurer that entered Panagea automatically learned about the levels and their details up to Level 50 since the town's highest level was 50.

If anyone wanted to learn anything more than that, they would've to work hard. Aakesh was the exception to this rule since he already knew about every level and its details.

"You'll know if you're the first one to reach there," Aakesh responded.

"You're no fun," Evelyn complained with a smile on her face. She then turned around and proceeded toward the portal room.

When she reached the room, the first thing she noticed was a projection containing three sections, rank, name, and level.

She saw the name of Aakesh at the top of the table, with his level being 20, and her name was next.

A smile appeared on her face, seeing only her name on the table. She didn't care for Aakesh's name, as even the system didn't care for his level. Otherwise, he had gotten the reward she had gotten.

The smile then disappeared as she entered her virtual portal and appeared in the Panagea the next moment.

After she left, Aakesh closed his eyes and started thinking about the events again in the store.

Time flew by. After Punta's six hours in Panagea was over, the system forced him out. Since he had already ignored the quest, he stopped worrying about it. He had left the town after learning about the locations and their details around the area.

He was on his way when his six hours were over, and the system forced him out. After spawning in the store, he said bye to Aakesh and left the store. When he reached the door of the store, he warped and, the next moment appeared in his room in the royal palace.

"Where were you?" said a familiar voice, bringing an expression of surprise on Punta's face.

He turned around and noticed a man sitting on his chair, with his legs crossed. The darkness of the room covered his face, and the man had also worn light green clothes.

"What are you doing here?" Punta ignored the man's question and instead asked the man his purpose.

"I asked you the question first. Since when have you started cross-questioning your brother?" The man said in response.

The next moment, a sudden pressure arrived on Punta that made him bend down.

"I may be your brother, but now I'm the crown prince, so mind your manners," The man said, and the pressure on Punta disappeared.

Punta stood up straight after the pressure disappeared. He then bowed to his chest and greeted, "Welcome, crown prince!"

"You can stand up!" The man said as he stood up from his chair. "Now, give your brother a hug," A smile appeared on the man's face as he added.

Punta also smiled in response and gave a hug to his eldest brother. He was the heir of his father.

"Elder brother, what are you doing here?" Punta said after his brother released him.

"I came here to see my brother. What else could the purpose be?" The man smilingly responded.

In the store, time flew by, and George and Evelyn's six hours were over too. The system forced them out of Panagea.

Since they both didn't meet in the town due to doing their quests, George didn't know about Evelyn getting the reward.

The first thing Evelyn did after returning to the store was to show her reward to George. He couldn't help but heave a disappointed sigh, seeing the level gap between him and her.

They both then teleported out of the store after saying their byes to Aakesh. George had slumped shoulders while Evelyn was laughing out loud.

After some time, the stay of the group of daityas in Panagea was over too, so they appeared in the store.

Kuriati didn't say anything and teleported out of the store. His group member also followed him and teleported out of the store.

Time flew by, the store closing time arrived. Aakesh closed the store and appeared in the selection ground. After fighting another draw, he left for Panagea.

Time flew by. Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours, and hours into days. Finally, the first day of the event arrived.

Since there were rumors going around in the Kingdom for the last two days that there would be a three-day event that would change their lives starting today, there appeared to be more people on the market today than usual.
