Chapter 1554: Sudden Situation!

Aakesh immediately created barriers of defense around him. The worm's slam easily destroyed all of them and threw him away with a strong force.

He covered his back with layer after layer of barrier, and when he finally landed on the ground, he survived without any injury.

Aakesh rushed energy to his legs and jumped forward. He crossed that distance in a jump and fell right on the worm.

The worm immediately opened its mouth wide enough to welcome the prey, but a small projection had begun to appear around Aakesh.

Aakesh couldn't help but smile when he noticed that. It was unlike him, but he was extremely happy.

Bloodline Projection was an ability that he suddenly learned when he was in serious trouble in Panagea. Since his cultivation was extremely weak, he was unable to control that ability.

If he could use it, Aakesh's strength would grow severalfold, and he wouldn't only jump one level to kill his opponents.

The worm suddenly froze as subconscious fear enveloped its mind. The projection was blurry, but it still created more than enough pressure, and the worm exploded into a blood cloud.

Before Aakesh could celebrate, he crashed to the ground, unconscious. He had unlimited endurance, and only because of that did he survive, but even that wasn't enough to maintain the ability.

His body was physically and mentally drained at that moment, and the projection behind him slowly began to fade. If someone could see beyond the blur, they would see a mixture of smiles and anticipation.

The battle Aakesh had dreaded came to a sudden, weird end. Aakesh remained unconscious on the ground.

Suddenly, a blue light enveloped him, and his life aura began to grow at a rapid rate. An energy storm erupted in the area, and Aakesh's body became the source of it.

The system immediately acted since it couldn't let the impure spiritual energy dirty Aakesh's pure inner energy. Patterns started appearing on Aakesh's upper body.

The first thunderbolt formed and struck Aakesh, causing a loud sound. Aakesh remained unfazed, and soon, he was drowned in several thunderstrikes.

The situation continued for a while, and instead of disappearing, the clouds started further growing. Since Aakesh's physique was too tenacious for the tribulation, it further strengthened.

The purple thunderstrike turned yellow and drowned Aakesh, but he remained unfazed as he had earlier, without any injury. Thirty minutes later, the yellow thunderbolt turned orange, and even the ground shook due to the pressure.

The thunderbolt not only had destructive power but also weighed an enormous amount. Whenever it struck Aakesh, he slowly got pushed backward.

The first injury finally appeared after several orange thunderbolts struck him continuously. The number of injuries started growing, but he finally survived the last bolt.

His eyes were cold, and he looked at the sky. A frown appeared on his face since the clouds were still growing instead of disappearing.

Suddenly, the entire world shook, and the sky turned red. It seemed that the laws were attempting a last chance, and an enormous red thunderbolt appeared in the sky.

With its presence alone, the entire world was cracking apart. The injuries Aakesh had received from the last bombardment started to grow further as the remains of the thunder grew in power.

Aakesh coldly stared at the thunderbolt as it descended. It was enormous, but its speed wasn't slow, so it soon reached Aakesh and crashed into him.

A mushroom cloud suddenly emerged, and the blast range enveloped the entire city.
