The First Store System

The two didn't know that Aakesh and the system clearly had no ulterior motive behind inviting Huan.

Huan had a great fate, and with the help of the Soul of Negativity, he was bound to become one of the powerhouses of the current epoch. For the store, the more powerful the customer, the wealthier they were. The wealth was what mattered most.

It didn't mean that being wealthy was a criterion for getting invited by the system. If that were so, there would have been many invitations. Aakesh decided to immediately find the standards for invitation once his authority reached a sufficient level.

Even though Huan and the creature didn't believe the store owner, they had no choice but to stop their questioning. It was store time, so Aakesh bluntly told them to focus on the products since many customers were waiting for their turn behind Huan.

"I already know about the available store products, but explain them to me," Huan asked with a proud look. His expression said: 'Even though you are the store owner and backed by a powerful figure, you still have to answer my questions.'

Aakesh didn't care about that expression and explained all the products in detail.

After waking up as the host of the Soul of Negativity, Huan already had a defined power system, so cultivation art wasn't a product for him. Pills and weapons were of low grade for him, so they were also out of the question. Skills, Panagea, and beasts were left.

The Soul of Negativity also had its skills, but as per the creature, he was too weak at the moment to use any skills. Even a simple possession drained the two of them and forced them to recover for days in an average environment.

Huan wanted to fly out in rage since the customer gesturing at him was only a Lesser God. He could kill that bug with a simple wave of his hand.

But was suddenly stunned into shock. The creature, seeing that Huan was about to fly in rage and put the two of them in a life-threatening situation, immediately apologized.

"I am sorry for calling you an idiot."

Huan stood there stunned for a while since it was the first instance of the creature apologizing. Even when he was lied to and had to run for several days, the creature further gaslighted him.

Huan's eyes suddenly lit up since he seemed to have found a new way to show the creature its place.

"Okay, I will forgive you this once. But if you ever call me an idiot again, only you will be responsible for the repercussions."

The creature simply scoffed in response to Huan's threat, but it still smiled on the outside, showing that it had understood.

Huan was careful with his actions since he couldn't always use the same strategy to make the creature apologize. He needed to learn to be content, so he decided to wait for some time before he tried the action again.

"Sorry for that," Huan then apologized to the man who had the Lesser God cultivation.

The man simply nodded and turned around, and at that time, his entire back was cold with sweat. He had carelessly gestured at the man in a loud posture to stay silent, but only after that did he notice the higher cultivation.

He was safe inside the store, but no one else was coming to save him outside the store. The man immediately promised to stay far from the store for some time after making the purchase.
