Aakesh’s intuition warned him that things weren’t what they looked, so Aakesh, despite not finding anything the first time, started his second search.

This time it wasn’t a blind search since Aakesh trusted his intuition, but at the same time, he believed in himself as well.

Aakesh activated the skill Energy Overseer. The next moment, the view in front of him changed entirely.

Random blobs of different colors of light dots covered his sight.

Since there was a difference between the Aakesh of Panagea and the Primal dimension, Aakesh couldn’t put the skill to its full use.

Fortunately for Aakesh, the strength he had right now was sufficient enough to find out what was different about this place.

Around fifty degrees left of Aakesh, he witnessed a strange movement from the different-colored light dots. What made Aakesh particularly confident about the place being extraordinary was the orange-gold colored light dots.

There was only a single dot of the specific color, but it still made whatever there was extraordinary.

Aakesh deactivated the skill, only to find nothing where he sensed the light dots. But since it was expected, Aakesh took a step forward and began searching for whatever it was on the spot.

Time flew, and soon, thirty seconds had passed.

No matter what Aakesh tried, he found nothing but a plain floor there and nothing in the air. And as soon as Aakesh activated the skill, the mysterious item presented itself again in the form of energy.

For a moment, Aakesh froze on the spot. Even after he followed the sight of light dots seen after the activation of the skill, he found nothing but the invisible air.

“I don’t…,”

Aakesh was trying to find a way to get the item when he suddenly heard voices traveling in the building’s direction.

Aakesh activated the stealth as he jumped up the wall.

Aakesh didn’t worry about the creatures exceeding Level 250+. Since if they were here, he would’ve already gotten found out.

***

There were two people who had entered the empty hall. They seemed unaware of their surroundings and hidden Aakesh as they conversed with each other.

Both the figures had different appearances. Both of them were humanoid creatures, with one having gills instead of a nose, while the other had the nose of a horse.

The creature with gills had a single conical horn with rings all over it, similar to the Unicorn’s horn. The other being had seven horns circling around its head, forming a crown.

The creature with the crown-like horns was Level 235, the strongest of the duo. The other figure was only Level 220.

Despite that, the creature with a single horn looked to be the important person as the creature with crown-like horns followed him, with the person continuously staying one inch behind it.

“Can we even trust him after what his father did in the past?” The creature with the single horn asked as if it was talking to the air.

“We have no other choice,” The creature with crown-like horns replied.

Aakesh continued hiding as he listened to the conversations between the two people. He also hoped these guys would help him reveal that strange item.

Time flew by, and just like that, seven minutes had passed since Aakesh had been hiding in stealth mode.

If Aakesh wanted, he could kill the two creatures at the same time, with none of them even able to cry for help. But Aakesh didn’t act out of impulse as he wanted the duo to help him reveal that strange item.

Aakesh’s wait didn’t fail him. After a delay of around eight minutes, the creature with the single horn made its move.

The creature bit its finger and started drawing a pattern on the ground.

When the pattern was complete, a tiny pillar of light emerged from it.

In no time, the light disappeared, and the item Aakesh had wanted to see all along finally presented itself to him.

An item in the shape of a box appeared the next moment.

The box was black in color, with a golden pattern on top of it.

The pattern on the top of the box was the same as what the creature with the single horn had made to reveal it.

A solemn and sincere look appeared on both the figure’s faces as the creature with the single horn opened the box.

The next moment, the duo’s breathing got rough as they looked at the item inside the box.

Even Aakesh hiding had a shocked expression on his face when he saw the item.

It was a drop of liquid, the same color as the single light dot Aakesh had seen when he first activated the skill Energy Overseer.

“Do you believe the father is right in trading this item with them?” The creature with the single horn couldn’t help but ask as he looked at the drop with red eyes.

The creature with the crown-like horn stayed silent and didn’t respond as if it hadn’t heard the question. Its eyes weren’t red, but it could clearly be seen that the person desired the drop for itself.

Sigh!

The creature with the single horn couldn’t help but sigh as it closed the box with a disappointed expression on its face.

The creature with the crown-like horn also moved its eyes away as there was no point in looking at it. No matter how much it wanted the drop, it didn’t have enough strength to hold it in its hands.

“I just hope that they would fulfill their deal,” The figure with the single horn mumbled as he put the box down on the ground.

The next moment, the box as well as the pattern the creature had earlier drawn, faded. In no time, not even a single proof of their existence was left.

It was the same situation for Aakesh. He could only see the energy signature released by the box and that drop of liquid using the skill Energy Overseer.

The duo then left with reluctance visible in their eyes as with every step, they turned around and glanced at the spot where the figure had put the box down.

The creature with the single horn suddenly frowned and stopped in his steps.

“What happened, master?” The creature with the crown-like horn asked after seeing his master coming to a sudden stop.
