After an unknown amount of time, Brodan opened his eyes.

“EH!” A loud surprised exclaim escaped his mouth as Brodan found himself floating in the air.

In Panagea, only the beings above Level 500 and Divine-grade lifeforms could float in the air without the help of any item. Brodan knew he had no such treasure to help him, so he surprisingly looked at himself. The next moment, his mouth turned agape and soon pale after he witnessed the scene.

Brodan was currently floating in the air. He had no body, but he was in the form of a spirit as he could see the ground right through him.

Brodan’s face turned even paler as he didn’t find his body on the ground, but only a golden grass the size of an almond stood there, dancing in the wind.

From the grass’s dance, Brodan could feel a joy-filled expression, and soon he also started feeling the same, forgetting about losing his body and becoming a spirit form.

Time flew by.

“Did you do this to me?” Brodan muttered as he looked at the grass with a horrified face.

“Yes,” An answer that made Brodan’s hair stand even in his spirit form rang the next moment in his head.

“You…you are a…ali…alive?” Brodan couldn’t help but ask in horror as he hadn’t sensed an iota of life energy from the grass a living thing should have.

“What is alive?” A question filled with childlike curiosity rang in Brodan’s head in response.

“Why did you do this to me?” Brodan ignored the question and asked. His tone filled with anger and hatred for the grass.

“I didn’t do anything. You came here,” The grass said in reply. Its tone was filled with curiosity as it wanted to know why Brodan was being angry with it when he came here on his own.

After hearing the grass’s response, Brodan felt stumped as he didn’t know what to say in response. It was true that he had come here to hunt on his own, and no one had forced him.

At that time, Brodan remembered the Thorny Bitch. Suddenly a gloating expression appeared on his spirit’s face as he couldn’t see its spirit anywhere.

“Why did you kill that Thorny Bitch? I wanted to kill it using my own hands,” Brodan suddenly commented. His tone filled with disappointment.

“I didn’t kill her,” The grass’s innocent-like response rang in Brodan’s head.

Brodan lost all his color at that moment as his face turned pale. With a fearful expression, he looked around and only heaved a sigh of relief when he didn’t see it anywhere.

The sense of relief also brought a wave of anger to Brodan’s heart as it vengefully looked at the grass.

“So you made me this way, but you let go of that Thorny Bitch,” Brodan angrily stated as he pointed his fingers toward the golden grass.

“What’s wrong with you?” The grass innocently asked Brodan.

Brodan felt his anger crossing the threshold it had never after hearing the question, but he calmed himself down as he could see sense here. A golden grass that could make him this way just from its birth was too strong for him to do anything to it. At least he was alive here and was talking to this innocent creature. If he dared to do something, Brodan didn’t even dare imagine the consequences he would have to face.

“This is how I had met that grass,” The woman told Aakesh as they both were currently sitting on a chair with a table filled with the tribe’s delicacy in their midst.

After the woman made the offer, Aakesh had asked her to share the story of his experiences with the golden grass.

“Do you know what that golden grass was?” Brodan controlling the tribe leader’s body, asked as even the grass didn’t know what it was.

“What did you do with the grass?” Aakesh ignored Brodan’s question and asked his own.

A hint of anger appeared on the woman’s face, but Brodan calmed down after feeling the talisman pasted on the tribe leader’s face.

“I turned it into a paste and drank it after the grass told me,” Brodan replied after calming down.

Only later in the situation did Brodan come to know that the golden grass was a Godsent opportunity for him sent by the Tribe Mother.

The golden grass was a high-level material that helped the soul evolve. It had only been a few days since Brodan had drunk the paste made of the grass, and his soul was already twice as strong as it was on that day.

“So, do you want to make the deal or not?” Brodan asked as he had gotten irritated with the adventurer putting him down at every situation using the leverage granted to the adventurer with the square-shaped talisman pasted on his face.

“Did you hear it?” Aakesh expressionlessly said, bringing a confused expression to the woman’s face. She had no idea who the adventurer was talking to.

It didn’t take long for the confusion to turn into shock and then fear as a sense of drowsiness attacked Brodan’s soul.

“HOW DARE YOU HARM MY HOST?” Suddenly a roar filled with indignance rang in Aakesh’s head.

Aakesh’s eyes turned cold as he stared straight into the heart of the woman.

Aakesh could see a golden grass lying there as it bathed in the fresh blood pumped by the heart.

The scream turned into a frenzy as the golden grass started stirring chaos inside the woman’s heart resulting in a wave of pain attacking the actual tribe leader.

At that moment, Brodan didn’t even know what was happening since he had drunk the paste made of the golden grass, and he also had conquered over the tribe leader’s soul, using the abilities granted to him by the grass.

Brodan couldn’t help but release a roar filled with confusion and anger, but he was the least of the concern for both the actual tribe leader and Aakesh.

“Stay still,” Aakesh suddenly told the tribe leader.

The tribe leader nodded, but soon she coughed a bowl of blood on the ground, and her face turned paler.

“HOW DARE YOU? I WOULD KILL THIS WOMAN AND THEN YOU FOR FOILING MY PLAN,” The grass threatened both Aakesh and the tribe leader.
