“Hello, Store owner,” A smile filled with nervousness spread across the girl’s face as she greeted Aakesh.

The girl had seen the way people higher than strength and status treated the store owner, so feeling nervous wasn’t a big thing when it was the first time the store owner had personally looked for someone in the known history of the store.

Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response to her greetings like he did to others, but for the girl, it was like a dream come true.

It was not wrong when people said that even a casual action from someone of status makes a bigger reaction than drastic actions taken by commoners.

The girl had seen Aakesh responding to other customers the same way Aakesh did to her when they greeted him, but at this moment, she had forgotten everything. Only the nod and the feeling that she was different from others remained in her mind and heart.

Adulation makes people think differently. The same was the case for the girl as a nonsensical question emerged in her heart.

‘Does the store owner like me?’ She couldn’t help but think as the girl had never seen Aakesh looking for others.

Even when the King of the Bisan Kingdom arrived in the store, the store owner would only look at her when she was near him.

‘Anna, calm down,’ A sense of sanity prevailed in her heart as Aakesh’s expressionless eyes stared right into her soul.

Anna couldn’t help but feel dumbfounded by the changes in her mindset, seeing only a single expressionless nod from the owner.

‘You need to train your willpower,’ Anna said in her heart as she herself became an example of what weak willpower could do to someone. If she wouldn’t have made contact with the store owner’s eyes after the nod, she would have turned into a completely different person.

“Don’t be so weak-willed,” Suddenly, Aakesh expressionlessly told Anna. How could he not see through her thoughts?

He had a reason behind looking for her. Selling a product to a customer wasn’t something to fuss about, but for Aakesh, it was significant since he was only one weapon sale away from completing the quest he had been doing for decades.

“Thank you, store owner. I would be mindful the next time,” Anna bowed and thanked Aakesh.

Aakesh didn’t speak anything but only nodded in response to her thanks.

“Why do you only use Panagea in the store when there are also two other products?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked.

In the past more than fifty-one years, Aakesh had gotten millions of customers. Some of them became regular, some of them never returned due to whatever reason, and some of them, unfortunately, died in their pursuit of power, but Aakesh remembered each one of them. He even knows what products they had bought and on what day the purchase was done.

Anna felt her cheeks getting red after hearing Aakesh mentioning her purchase history. At that moment, she didn’t know what to say.

If Anna said that she didn’t like other products, the store owner might feel offended by her insult. If she referred to her not being wealthy enough, the store owner might feel ridiculous for conversing with a poor customer like her.

“St…store-”

Anna wanted to say something. But she couldn’t make out the words clearly since she had fallen into a dilemma of what to say in response. Her predicament didn’t continue for long as Aakesh cut her words off in between.

Aakesh could see through the thoughts of Anna. For Aakesh, doing this wasn’t any challenging task when it came to peak Immortals, let alone Anna, who was only a late Soul Formation level cultivator.

“The store sells the best of the weapons. You can get the cheapest weapon as well as the most expensive one in this store.”

“Even the cheapest weapon sold in the store wouldn’t lose out to better quality weapons sold in other forgeries or stores across the Primal dimension.”

“Your sword is on the verge of destruction. If you unfortunately fall into some troubling situation, instead of helping you, your weapon will become disastrous for you,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Anna.

For someone like Aakesh, seeing through a space ring wasn’t challenging, so all the contents stored in it were there for him to see.

Anna’s already red cheeks turned redder as she heard about her sword being in its last phase. What made her even more embarrassed was Aakesh talking about there being cheap weapons in the store. She could understand that Aakesh mentioned it due to her having a low amount of Primal stones in her space ring.

As for why she didn’t feel offended over Aakesh looking at the contents inside her space ring without even asking her, there was no point to it. The strong defined what was right and what was wrong, not an ordinary citizen of a Kingdom like her. Things like privacy only sounded mighty on paper.

“I don’t have enough stones to buy a new sword,” Anna mumbled under her breath as she couldn’t get the courage to say these words to Aakesh.

Aakesh heard each and every word clearly. He already knew that the girl didn’t have enough money to buy a good weapon since he had seen inside her space ring.

He would have helped her buy a great weapon to complete the quest, but since the system wouldn’t count such sales, Aakesh had no choice but to make the girl buy a sword at whatever price she had.

There was no beating the system as he couldn’t buy a great weapon for a low price, but at the same time, Aakesh didn’t want the girl to lose what small amount of Primal stones she had just so he could make a successful sale. When selling products, there were ethics to be followed.

“What matters for you more: some Primal stones or your life?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked as he had found a way to help the girl at the same time as well as not help her in any way to buy the sword.

Anna couldn’t help but smile wryly as these questions were usually asked by those who had an abundant amount of money. At the same time, some ounce of respect she had for the store owner diminishes as she never expected the store owner to use such an argument to sell a weapon.
