Chapter 668: End!

ɴ[0)ᴠᴇʟ Chapter 668: End!

“Crash!”

“Thud!”

The next moment, a loud crashing sound rang in the area as the body of the man crashed to the ground. Not long after that, another similar but slow sound resonated, but it was heard even louder in the ears of the other six members since it was the head.

“Never trick those you can’t control!!!”

The next moment, a statement rang in the ears of all six members. It sent shudders down their spines as the voice was cold enough to make them feel standing naked at an absolute zero temperature while a snowstorm was ongoing.

The feeling didn’t last for long as the next moment, they felt their sights dimming down, and not long after, a flurry of crashing sounds rang in the area..

Since Aakesh had killed another group of people, he knew a new group would come, but this time, Aakesh decided to leave. He had already killed those who attempted to harm him, and he could feel a noose tightening around his neck the more he killed.

Aakesh had no interest in fighting an infinite number of people. Even though he was gaining good XPs from the killing, the situation here was different. It wasn’t going as per his decision, but someone else was doing it and sending groups after groups.

“Adventurer, did you think it would be easy to leave after killing so many of us?”

Suddenly a voice rang in Aakesh’s ears. It was androgynous, so it wasn’t possible for Aakesh to identify the gender of the voice owner just from their voice. The voice had a hint of playfulness in it, so Aakesh became even more sure that he was forced by someone to kill people.

Aakesh ignored the voice and continued ahead without stopping or turning back.

The voice got louder in his ears, while now it also started laughing as it was enjoying Aakesh’s escape from the area.

“Bang!”

“Crash!”

Aakesh’s journey suddenly came to a stop as he found himself crashing onto an invisible wall. The force at which he was running also acted against Aakesh and he got thrown several meters backward.

Aakesh had a surprised face as he had failed to even sense this invisible wall, and it was also the area through which he had unknowingly delved deeper into the tribe’s territory.

Whether the wall was earlier there or not, Aakesh wasn’t sure, but he was confident that it had stopped his journey ahead.

Aakesh suddenly activated the skill Energy Overseer. He couldn’t help but have his jaw almost drop to the ground as the number of colored dots he could see were more than enough to dizzy someone like him.

At that moment, Aakesh knew he had gotten caught and couldn’t leave, as he at least needed to have the amount of strength he currently had in Panagea to have a minuscule chance of breaking the wall and exiting. For the current him in Panagea, it was impossible to break the wall and leave the area.

Still, Aakesh was not one to give up. He stood up and got ready to fight the group that was coming at him.

The number of people in the group was consistent at seven people, and it still continued. Aakesh could see seven people surrounding him, stopping his journey from all sides.

Unfortunately for Aakesh, he had no chance to win, he could only escape from this group, but even that wasn’t possible due to the wall blocking his way. Out of the seven members in the group, six were Level 250, while the leader was Level 250 plus.

As the skill Energy Overseer was active, Aakesh could see the colored dots coming closer toward him from all sides as if the being behind it wanted to capture him.

Aakesh had no other choice but to continue to fight, and he got ready, but suddenly he felt an aura that sent chills down not only his spine but also the seven other members spread around the area.

Aakesh found the aura familiar since he had only met its owner yesterday. It had no dangerous effect on Aakesh, but the other seven weren’t as lucky.

Only the aura alone was enough to melt them into a puddle of liquid and then turn them into ashes. As the wind was still blowing, the ashes flew with it.

Aakesh still had the skill Energy Overseer active, so he could see the colored dots disappearing slowly as even it couldn’t bear the aura attacking it.

Time flew by.

Aakesh finally found the purpose behind him, facing a regular attack from a group of seven people.

It was not only a test to check Aakesh’s strength but also a ploy to capture him.

The Anarchic Parasite, Aakesh had met yesterday was a royalty of its race. One of its servants knew how to heal its master’s injury and where it was.

So to get a wisp of faith to heal its masters, the parasite’s servant had created this ploy. As for why only seven people attacked him and not many at once was because the servant also wanted to test Aakesh’s strength.

Being an adventurer didn’t guarantee success in getting the wisp of faith, so the servant wanted to be confident before sending the blue-skinned adventurer toward the ruin.

Now that the Anarchic Parasite was here and it was alright, there was no point in continuing the situation. The servant then apologized to Aakesh as it also found out that Aakesh was none other than the adventurer who helped heal its master.

Since a simple apology wasn’t sufficient for forcing Aakesh to fight, the servant gave Aakesh a top-grade Mythical sword, which was several times better than the one he was currently using. At the same time, it also gave him enough XP to grow by a level. Only after that, Aakesh accepted the forgiveness of the parasite’s servant.

After that, the Anarchic Parasite told Aakesh to be careful since now Aakesh knew that only adventures were able to touch the faith.

If the servant had not sent a message to the Anarchic Parasite that it had found an adventurer, the parasite would have come late, and Aakesh would have to face the humiliation of getting captured.
