The First Store System

Chapter 992: Punishment!

Chapter 992: Punishment!

"Aakesh, is the Lunar Moon Art also available in the store?" Ayriel asked Aakesh.

While looking around the cultivation arts, she came across Lunar Arts, which was the family art of the Ay family. So, Ayriel couldn't help but think of the Lunar Moon Art.

It was the cultivation art of Ay, the first Moon Elf. Since Ay's death, the Lunar Moon Art had vanished from the Multiverse, as every first elf was born with a cultivation art in their minds.

"No, the store only has cultivation arts that have more than three users," Aakesh replied. Since Ay was the only user of the Lunar Moon Art, there was no information about it available in the Multiverse.

Even the World Tree, the mother of the Elves, didn't know much about the cultivation arts.

Ayriel couldn't help but become disappointed upon hearing Aakesh's response. The hope of her using the Lunar Moon Art had crumbled before it could even take root.

"The Lunar Art available in the store is better than the one you use to cultivate, so even that could help you," Aakesh added. It has been quite a long time since something interested Aakesh as much as Ayriel, so he suggested.

"I saw that," Ayriel replied since she used the preview option to check the store's Lunar Arts.

Since there were only Lesser grade cultivation arts available in the store, the concept of the Lesser Lunar Art wasn't very complex. It would take no effort from her side to mix it into her original art.

But since Ayriel wanted the Lunar Moon Art, she didn't put much focus on it. Ayriel decided to purchase the Lunar Art now that she couldn't buy it. It wouldn't make much of a difference in her cultivation since she was already a Sacred Emperor, but even a tiny difference for people of her level was outstanding.

Ayriel then thanked Aakesh and turned around to proceed toward the room, while Gregory took her place.

"Store owner, I want to initiate the taming battle for me and my children," Gregory respectfully requested, as he began to hand over the eight cards to Aakesh.

Aakesh took them one by one; he then tapped twice on the pattern on the card's back and gave them to Gregory and his children.

The members began to battle as they took the card in their hands.

Since the time inside the taming battle was frozen, it didn't even take a moment for the group to return to the store.

Some of them had joyful smiles, while others looked sad.

Gregory couldn't help but become disappointed when he saw that four out of his seven children failed to tame the beasts they had summoned. Suri was one of the four, but since she was very young, her defeat didn't disappoint Gregory as much as Grant's loss.

"It seems I have given you too much freedom," Gregory coldly reprimanded his children.

Gregory had the purest bloodline of the Ether Giants, so his direct children shouldn't have been this weak, but the reality was the opposite.

The four who failed to win shuddered since they had seen the sternness of their father.

"I want another chance."<novelnext></novelnext>

When Grant tried to start the taming battle again because he wasn't happy with the outcome, he realized that the card had vanished from his possession.

"Those who fail today will train for ten years in the time chamber," Gregory, who seemed unconcerned about his children at the time, announced, making the children shudder.

Suri's eyes became moist as she didn't want to train for years without any chance to play. Gregory's eyes remained cold as usual as he wiped away her tears and then warned her not to cry again.

Gregory understood that he was being cruel to his children, but that's what the world was. It wasn't some kind of paradise. Every action had consequences, and the action-taker had to bear the brunt.

"You will train for fifty years," Gregory's voice turned colder after he looked at his eldest son and announced.

Grant wanted to say something, but he didn't dare, and instead, he nodded, accepting the punishment.

"You need to pay Twelve thousand, seven hundred, eighty supreme Sacred stones..." Aakesh expressionlessly announced the price.

Even though four of the eight in the group failed to tame the beast, they would still have to pay the summoning cost and a fine for initiating the taming battle.

The amount got deducted from the Ultimate Store Card Gregory bought for himself.

Gregory wanted to enter Panagea, but the high failure rate incensed him, so he left the store with his children. Those who won the taming battle would train with their beast to increase their familiarity, while those who failed would begin their punishment.

As for Panagea, Gregory would return tomorrow. Since he had the Ultimate Store card, he didn't need to travel; Gregory only needed to think, and he would be inside the store.

Aakesh was relaxing on the chair with his eyes closed when he heard the sound of footsteps. It didn't come from the outside but from the inside. Ayriel, Ladriel, and Elasha were coming toward him.

Aakesh didn't need to think for their reason, as all three of them had a page in their hands.

All three had chosen their cultivation arts, and as things would have naturally played out, it was the Lunar Art.

If Ayriel wanted, she could have stopped Ladriel or Elasha from buying the family cultivation art, but since Ladriel was her trusted underling, she didn't stop her. As for Elasha, she was also now in her camp. After leaving the store, Ayriel decided to make Elena swear an oath of loyalty to her.

Since Ayriel was the one with the highest status, she was the first to approach Aakesh and request the sale.

Aakesh took a look at the virtual book floating near Ayriel, and all the details of the cultivation art emerged in his head.

"You need to pay nine hundred ninety ordinary Sacred stones," Aakesh told Ayriel since she had already paid the one percent cost at the preview option.

Time flew by, and soon the sale for all three cultivation arts was over. Ayriel and Ladriel decided to meditate to pass the waiting time while Elasha chose to enter the weapon room.
