The forgotten Royal

Dmitry looks at me with complete disbelief, "Wh-what did you say!?"

Not looking back, I slightly sighs before repeating my last line slowly. "I said.. I love you..."

A smile spreads across his face as he pulls me into his embrace, despite the sudden sharp pain that flowed through his injured arm. Stunned, I carefully hug him back.

"You have no idea how happy your statement made me. I love you too, Jewel. I love you with my whole soul, I'd do anything for you to be happy and safe."

"Yeah, even forgetting about your injured arm.."

"It doesn't hurt much.. So, don't worry about it." Dmitry gently plants a soft kiss on my forehead. "Anyways, want to go home? It's pretty cold. You might get sick."

"Heh, yeah I might. Alright then."

"My place or yours?"

"Um.... I don't technically have my own place but.. yours?"

"Hm... alright."

Taking my hand, Dmitry starts walking out the beach. Quietly, I take back his hand and walk by him.

(time - 14:06 - location - Dmitry's house)

Sitting on the couch, I go on my phone as I wait for Dmitry. My eyes widen slightly as I see ten unread messages and three miss calls. The texts were from Sasuko and the calls were from my second sister, Ash. Sighing deeply, I put my phone to the side.

It's better if I don't reply back... at least for now.

"So, how ya feel?"

Hearing Dmitry snapped me back to reality. Looking at him, i smile small but warmly. "Fine."

"Alright, my sister is coming over."

"Okay."

Standing up, I suddenly hug Dmitry which left him slightly dumbfounded. Giggling small, I slightly bury my face into his chest. Slowly, I felt his arms wrap around my waist.

"You're too cute, you know that?" Dmitry asked as he gently planted a kiss on my head.

"Yeah. I know. Everybody used to tell me that." I replied back, looking up at him with a cute smile.

"Sheesh, I might end up dying before I marry you." Dmitry laughs wholeheartedly.

"Haha!" I said slightly sarcastically.

Suddenly, the door bell rang.

"That's must be your sister." I said, letting go of Dmitry.

"Hey, Jewel?"

"Yeah?"

"There is something i want you to remember."

"What is it?"

"Don't ever forget that my love towards you will never die. I'll love you forever, even if I'm dead."

Staring at him, I go speechless and node small. He smiles lovingly before walking towards the door. Sitting back on the couch, a small smile creeps across my face.

"Same here..."
