The forgotten Royal

After I finished taking a bathe, I walked out the bathroom wearing a new pair of clothes. As I went to the living room and sat on the couch, I had my phone on my hand. Hesitating for a bit, I dial a number.

The line rang a few times before the call was answered.

"Jewel?!" A female said from the other side of the line.

"Heh, yeah. Hey sis." I said.

"Wha... I thought you died! At least that is what they told us..."

"No, I'm... alive. But.... you are the only one that knows... besides the Yatsu/Akatsuki family..."

"I see... Anyways, how are you??"

"I'm good, my wounds are pretty much healed."

"Do you know who did such thing to you?"

"No, not yet. But I'll find out soon. As well as for the reason for being separated from you guys."

"Just be careful, Jewel. That can mean your life."

"I know. But, it doesn't bother me at all. As long as I find out and deal with that person, I can live on peacefully."

"Jewel, please take care of yourself. You have no idea what came about within our family. It's.... dead in a sense."

"I would let you tell then that I'm alive but... it might just get you all in some sort of trouble. So, you have to stay silent.. just for a while."

"I understand. If anything, whether it's help or not, call me. I'll be there for you."

"Sasuko, you're the best sister anyone would ever want." My voice slightly cracked when I said this, tears started to form within the corners of my eyes.

"Damn you, Jewel..." She said emotionally.

"Heh, I'm sorry."

"You made it sound as if I wouldn't hear from you again!!"

"Hehe, i know. I just realized it."

"Ugh, just wait until I can get my hands on you!"

"Uh-oh, this time I'll really make sure to stay away. Hehe!"

"Haha!"

"Well, I'll let you go. I bet you are busy."

"Well... yea I am. Gotta... deal with my mate.."

"Mate?"

"Yup, I got married about four years ago."

"Oh, who is it?"

"His name is Andrew Lloyd Mia."

"Ooooooo! A Mia huh?!"

"Yup, a Mia."

"Cool! Well then, I'll let ya go. And remember: remain silent."

"I will. You can count on me. Talk to you later."

"Yeah."

Ending the call, I sigh deeply. I really do miss my family. I can't wait until I can get back together with them.

"Dinner is ready!" I hear Akira exclaim from the dining room.

Standing up, I walk to the dining table. Looking at the food, I smiled small. "Miso ramen for dinner? Awesome!" Sitting down, I give Akira a childish smile.

"Hehe, yup!" She said, sitting down as well. "Enjoy!"

Taking the fork that was placed next to the bowl, I take a bite of food.

"Its so good!!"

Akira giggles gently, "I glad you like it!"

With a small node, we both eat our dinner quietly.
