The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 249 247- A Heavenly Saber That Could Pierce The Nine Heavens If Released

“Bastard! Whose your successor?!! Let go of me!!”

Mu Fan was first stunned but he quickly became enraged.

His hands and feet danced as he was picked up by an invisible force.

Soon he was at eye level with the person floating above the courtyard.

He was a middle-aged-looking man that wore blood-red robes. His physique was burly, matching the image all who heard his voice from before would picture him to look like.

His arms were double a normal person’s and as he grabbed Mu Fan’s head, his palm easily wrapped around it fully.

Mu Fan grabbed onto the man’s forearm and instinctively tried to get free, but his arms wouldn’t budge.

“Bastard, I said let go of me!!”

The man ignored Mu Fan and instead looked at him curiously, then his face showed a frown.

“How are you merely in the Mid Foundation Realm having only formed your fifth Divine Platform? Is this some kind of joke? You should have been cultivating faster than this given your talents.”

The man after examining Mu Fan’s cultivation was dissatisfied.

“My cultivation is none of your business old man!!”

Mu Fan’s eyes flashed with a red glow before he formed his hand into a saber and slashed at the middle-aged man’s forearm. A terrifying aura emanated from his hand as Saber Qi coated it in an instant.

However, the middle-aged man didn’t react.

Mu Fan’s hand landed on the man’s bare forearm, but even with it being coated with his Saber Qi it remained undamaged.

Seeing that his Saber Qi hadn’t cut off his arm, or even cut his sleeves to reach his skin, Mu Fan froze.

The man spoke up and said.

“At least your martial arts have improved. Now show me your Blade Intent.”

Hearing the man’s words, Mu Fan snapped out of his surprise and shot him a glare.

“Shut up!”

With that bark, Mu Fan’s body suddenly release a burst of Saber Qi that went on to engulf his entire figure.

The man seeing this wore an unimpressed expression.

“You're just as stubborn as before.”
“Don’t talk like you know me, I sure as hell don’t know who you are. If you don’t release me I’ll definitely make you regret it.”

Mu Fan instantly retorted, growling out those words in a menacing manner.

Letting his Saber Qi flow out uncontrollably, Mu Fan once again coated his hand and attack the man, this time aiming for his neck.

However, it didn’t reach its destination as the man easily grabbed his hand.

“Ungrateful brat, after all the resources I gave you, you forgot who I am? What did that Second Prince give you that you couldn’t get from me?”

Mu Fan simply ignored the man’s words and tried to pull his hand away from his grasp, but it was like a firm metal clamp.

The man responded to Mu Fan actions by releasing power from his palm.

“Enough, I already saw this. Show me your Blade Intent!”

The power from his hand was like water meeting fire. Mu Fan’s Saber Qi surrounding his body evaporated when it wash over him.

The man then let go of Mu Fan and stared at him, waiting for him to do as he requested.

Mu Fan frowned at this, then raising his hand he extended his index finger at the man’s face.

The man’s eyes focused at this, however, Mu Fan's face contorted into a furious expression before he spat out.

“Screw you old man!”

The man who was anticipating him using his Blade Intent almost cough up blood from that.

“You disrespectful brat! You-”

However, his words quickly got stuck in his throat as he moved his head to the side instinctively.

The red flash that was aiming for his eye swiftly past his head.

Mu Fan’s eyes narrowed and using that opportunity, his hands shot out towards the man’s hand that was holding his head.

His palm slammed against his forearm.

Mu Fan’s weak-looking hand carried with it power unfitting of his skinny physique.

The man’s hand was knocked away releasing him.

It wasn’t because Mu Fan was strong enough to accomplish such a feat. It was simply because he had timed the hit perfectly, when the man’s focus shifted for a fraction of a second to dodge his Blade Qi.

The man’s reaction was quick and his other had moved to Mu Fan, who was already ten meters away using his Movement Technique to stand in the air.

Mu Fan felt an inexplicable power began to engulf him, but his eyes flashed with anger as he swiftly turned around.

“You want to see my Blade Intent? Fine! Here it is!!”

Mu Fan pointed to the sky and suddenly the atmosphere around the courtyard shifted.

Disciples further away felt the change and couldn’t help but look to the sky shocked.

“W-What is that?”

The atmosphere grew stronger and disciples all over the Sword Pavilion felt it.

Their gazes raised to the sky and what they saw made their jaws dropped to the floor.

In the sky, the image of a massive red Heavenly Saber was hovering upright.

The form was indistinct at first, but it soon started to become clearer, sending terrifying ripples into the air.

An electrifying feeling ran down the disciples' spines and their scalps turn numb.

Back in the courtyard, Mu Fan floated in the air, robes flapping wildly while his finger was pointed towards the heavens.

This was all of his Blade Intent taking on a tangible form, becoming a Heavenly Saber that seemed as if it could pierce the Nine Heavens if released.

The middle-aged man was first looking at the Saber in the sky with wide eyes, but his attention soon shifted to Mu Fan and he cracked a smile.

That smile became wider until he suddenly burst out laughing. His laughter echoed far and wide for all to hear.

“Incredible! I know I didn’t see wrong when I brought you to the Academy!”

The man’s eyes shone with a bright light and he was staring at Mu Fan like he was a golden goose about to lay a fat golden egg.

He continued to say with an excited expression.

“This is the formation of a Blade Will! To think you would start developing it so quickly, no wonder your cultivation was subpar, so you were focusing on your martial arts.”

The man floated there unaffected by the Heavenly Sabers ripples, nodding his head in a satisfying manner. He soon started rubbing his chin with closed eyes before he said.

“This is good, the further you study your martial arts the more understanding you can come to upon wielding your saber, and thus increase this Blade Will’s development. My eyes aren’t blind, I choose a competent successor.”

The man nodded some more, while Mu Fan hearing what he said, had his once angry expression turned to confusion.

“MU FAN!!”

A yell suddenly came from below and Mu Fan looked down at Li Shen to see him staring up at him with a dark expression.

Suddenly, Mu Fan instinctively had the urge to run away when he saw his expression.

“Are you stupid? What did I tell you about using this move? Do you want to cripple your Blade Intent?”

Li Shen sounded annoyed as he spoke.

Mu Fan felt a chill run down his spine before he quickly started recalling his Blade Will.

The middle-aged man seeing this interaction turned his attention to Li Shen, his eyes flickering for a brief moment.

Though, he agreed with his statement.
