The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 376 373- Battle At The Southern Border: Lihua Vs Ji Niu (2)

However, as Ji Niu flew up, numerous silk ribbons suddenly flew out towards her in all directions.

Quickly, the entire sky surrounding Ji Niu was covered in silk ribbons blocking her escape.

Ji Niu paused in the mid-air and turned back to look at the ground. There she saw Lihua materializing from thin air.

Ji Niu didn’t know where this place was. If she was still in the battle arena or even if she was still at the Southern Border. But the longer she was inside this place, the more she realize it was fully under the control of Lihua.

The sky, the ground, and every inch of this place moved to her will. The only problem was that Lihua herself seemed to be unable to control this place fully. She could only trap someone inside and suppress them.

But that was very much enough to defeat someone of the same cultivation Realm as her, and who didn’t use Water Elemental techniques, someone like Ji Niu.

Smiling nervously Ji Niu said.

“S-Sister Lihua, it seems this is my loss, I admit my defeat. Now if sister Lihua could release this technique then I’ll take my leave.”

Lihua’s face was expressionless as she swept her gaze across Ji Niu.

When Ji Niu felt that gaze sweep across her, her figure trembled in the air while a numbing sensation ran across her scalp.

“S-Sister Lihua, it couldn’t be that you’re still upset about my actions previously, right? I was only teasing sister Lihua, I knew sister Lihua liked little brother Jun from how you reacted when I sat I sat in his lap.”

Lihua upon hearing that had her expressionless face turned beet-red like a tomato. She quickly yelled in a hurry.

“W-What nonsense are you spouting?! When did I say I like that idiot?!”

Seeing Lihua’s reaction to her words, Ji Niu momentarily forgot the circumstance she was in and she smiled slyly before she said with a giggle.
“Sister Lihua, you might be able to hide it from others and even yourself, but I don’t make mistakes when it comes to these things. I can spot someone in love from a mile away. I also know little brother Jun like Lihua as well. Haha, he was so cute the way he blush and tried to avoid your gaze. He seemed like a puppy that had done something bad when he was forced to let me stay in his lap.”

As Ji Niu recalled Jun’s reaction, she couldn’t help but laugh to herself. But it was because of this she didn’t realize Lihua’s expression had changed from embarrassment to anger.

As Lihua listened to Ji Niu’s words she got more irritated by the second.

Before Ji Niu could finish her sweet-sounding laughter, Lihua raised her hand and clenched her fist in her direction.

Ji Niu’s laughter was cut short and she let out a loud cry for help as she tried to dodge the numerous ribbons aiming to capture her.

Soon enough, the scene of Ji Niu being strung upside down while getting whipped like a misbehaving donkey play out in this blue world.

Her screams weren’t heard in the outside world and everyone could only look on at the empty stage.

The audience didn’t know what happened. They merely see a blue light encapsulate the stage and after fading away both Lihua and Ji Niu’s figures vanish. What was left was the simply blue orb floating in the middle of the stage.

The only person who didn’t react with confusion was Jun and the others, along with Long Feng in the audience.

The reaction Long Feng had was one of utter stupefaction. Upon seeing the blue orb on the stage he almost stood up due to his shock.

If his eyes weren’t deceiving him, that was a Divine Water Soul Perl floating in the center of the stage. But Long Feng wanted to rub his eyes to see if he really wasn't going blind.

However, no matter how hard he look, that was definitely a Divine Water Soul Pearl.

As for what that was, a Divine Water Soul Pearl was like a fruit a mature Water Divine World Tree produced. Long Feng knew what a Divine Water Soul Pearl was because the Ancient Water God Clan on his Central Continent was said to have one for one of their three Mystic Treasures.

But upon recalling the memories of what he read, Long Feng began to salivate at the sight of the Divine Water Pearl on the stage.

The one the Ancient Water God Clan had was merely a half-baked product gained from a dying Water Divine World Tree.

But for a half-baked Divine Water Soul Pearl to gain the title of a full Mystic Artifact and not even a Quasi Artifact, then what would a fully formed Divine Water Soul Pearl grade be? How powerful and precious was it?

Long Feng had to forcefully prevent himself from flying over to the stage to try and snatch the thing.

First of all, that would alert the various experts, who have been silently observing this place, of the value of the pearl as well as his identity. And secondly, that was only a projection of the Divine Water Soul Pearl.

If the original version was actually revealed, these clueless idiots all surrounding Long Feng and those hidden experts wouldn’t only be watching. It would have enticed even the purest of Samaritans to commit a slaughter for it.

‘But even if this person were to reveal the original Divine Soul Pearl, it has already been fully refined and had merged with their soul. I would have to capture her and then find a secluded place to refine her soul for several years to gain the Divine Soul Pearl. Is that even worth it? It’s not like my Dragon Clan doesn’t have several Quasi Mystic grade Artifacts as well as two fully Mystic Artifacts. When I turn emperor they would become mine to use anyway.’

After a while of contemplation, Long Feng decided to not be greedy. He couldn’t even use the Divine Soul Pearl as his own Dragon Qi was incompatible with it. And the Ancient Clans on the Central continent weren’t all that friendly towards each other for him to capture this girl and hand her over to the Ancient Water God Clan.

In fact, Long Feng was hoping that this girl never leaves this sub-region and enter the Central Plains. Or else she might just be handing the Ancient Water God Clan a power boast no other power wants to see.

As Long Feng was in deep thought, while the crowd went oblivious to Ji Niu’s wretched screams, out at Sea, several million kilometers away from the Southern Border, a large aquatic beast was moving under the water.

This beast was large, so massive its end could not be seen. Each of its movements destroyed the seabed and caused the sea to churn. Chaotic waves were produced as this monstrous beast swam for shore.

But this was not something one should be shocked about, instead, one should be shocked because several thousand kilometers to this beast left and right were two more beasts that were equal in size to it. Furthermore, as if they were General leading an army, these three Sea Beast Generals had thousands, no, hundreds of thousands of loyal subjects following closely behind.

And that was merely just in the sea itself.

In the sky, the entire horizon was basically obscured by winged creatures of all types. Small, big, ugly, majestic-looking, they seemed like an unbeatable areal force as they flew in the air behind these Sea Beast Generals who were leading the vicious and bloodthirsty navy force down below.

A battle of epic portions was heading for the Southern Border. No, if one zoomed out, one would see three more scenes such as this all aiming for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Borders as well.

This wasn’t going to be just a battle, this was a prelude to a full-blown war.

A Sea Beast invasion on a scale the likes of which the Borderners had never faced before.
