The Fresh Start in an RPG World

When his face got closer to her she hit him with her forehead and he pulled back looking puzzled. She could tell that he was puzzled at the fact that she had headbutted him.

"Did you think that I would kiss you?" she challenged him.

"That's what I thought, but I don't know what's with you."

"As I have made it clear to you Axel, I am not the same as you remember before."

Axel sighed, "I know and the weird thing is that I now want you more than ever."

Talia's eyes widened, she hadn't expected such an answer from him at all. She shook the thoughts that wanted to creep in.

She shivered when she felt Axel's hand stroke her face.

"Axel can you please get off me."

"I will only if you promise me one thing."

"What is that?"

"You will let me stay and we can talk."

"No, I am not negotiating with you."

"I guess we can talk from this position."

"Fine, but we not going to talk long Axel."

He smiled down at her, "well you have got yourself a deal."

Talia rolled her eyes when she felt the weight of his body off her. She slowly got up and she leads him to the kitchen. She shows him where to sit, and she slides across.

"What do you want to talk about now?"

"I wanted to make a proposal."

"Couldn't you want until office hours?"

"No, Talia I couldn't. It is not business related and this was the only way I could see you."

"I don't think this was the only way. Do you think it's normal for one to break into someone's house?"

"Well in my profession, it is…"

Talia cut him off, "Just get to the damn point Axel. I don't have all night."

"We could have all night. You know."

"No, we won't."

"Then why is your face so red Talia?"

Talia blushed more when she got called out. She didn't think it was that noticeable. "I must be running high on a fever or something."

"Well, I like that type of fever then. It is my pleasure that it is getting caused by me."

"It is definitely not, actually its because one of my favorite bands got back together."

"Really, now which one may I ask."

"You wouldn't know them."

"Try me, Talia."

"Jonas Brothers."

"Are you kidding me. The Jonas Brothers?"

"Yes, and their song sucker is amazing. And if you hadn't noticed I have a thing for the lead singer. Joe."

"Are you a tad old to be swooning over a boy band?"

"No I am not Axel, maybe if you hadn't taken some of the years when I was younger I could have had all the time to be a silly teenager."
