The Fresh Start in an RPG World

Talia got to work, and she walked into her office. She felt as if she hadn't rested at all during this weekend because of Axel's intrusion. She wanted to forget all about it and dive into her work. The door opened and Marian walked in.

"Morning mam."

"Morning Marian."

"You don't look so good."

"Well thank you."

Talia gave Marian a set of orders on what she was supposed to do and she started with her work. Talia picked up the phone and told Marian to come to her office.

When Marian came in again, "Do you need something mam?"

"Yes I do Marian, I need for you to found out some info for me. I need it urgently so please do it quickly."

When Talia finished her work for the day, she went home and hoped that Axel wouldn't make any surprise visits because she wasn't in the mood to see him.

She got home and searched the whole house and he wasn't there, she also checked for cameras but she found none when she was satisfied with her check she changed into her nightgown. Her phone beeped and she saw it was Marian, which meant she had gotten the info that she wanted.

Talia opened the folder and she read it, through the night. When she went to work the next morning, Marian followed her to her office.

"What is it, Marian?"

"I was just wondering why you needed that folder from last night mam?"

"It's for personal reasons."

"If you don't mind me asking, what are those?"

"I really can't tell you anything Marian, but I have a purpose for all of it."

"Okay, I will be at my desk if you need anything else."

With that she watched Marian walk out. When she finished her work, Talia decided to go to the mall and purchase some clothing, and when she was done she decided to go to Starbucks to get a drink. After that, she went and got some takeaway. She wasn't in the mood to cook so, what she got at the mall would have to do.

When she got her order she went home and ate, and went to sleep. Talia felt as if the week had gone by too fast.

When Saturday came she got dressed and headed out when she arrived at her destination she took a deep breath. What was she doing here? But she wouldn't back down. She had planned this for the whole week and she would go through with it. What did she have to lose?

She squared her shoulders and walked in.

"Are you ready, Talia?"

"Yes, as I can be."

"Okay, go stand there and you know what comes next right?"

"Yes, I do."

"Do your best Talia, these are powerful men and with means. So don't mess this up, since you are an exception we allowed you."

"Don't worry I won't let you down."

Talia took a deep breath and the curtain opened. She had asked for her spotlight to be dim. She then looked into the crowd and bingo. She saw it. Or him. Axel, his eyes were widened in disbelief. Talia savored the look on his face. She dropped her robe knowing what came next.


She was left in her lingerie, the music started playing and she started to dance. Talia felt someone turn her around and lift her from her knees. She knew she was riding on Axel's shoulder when she smelt his scent.
