“Are those god eaters… Lady Renystar, we can’t fight those!”

The scenery in front of me is shown in multiple layers, and suddenly there’s a lot of stress in my brain.

I feel a dull pain, like it’s being slowly constricted, but this pain has been here since I was born, so I can take it.

My father calls this the ‘four forces magic eyes’.

I heard that people from my mother’s family are more likely to have magic eyes, but no one has ever had ones like mine.

The power of my magic eyes makes it so the world in front of me has five layers, but it doesn’t change those things that look like wolves and are after us.

That means we probably need ‘purifying light’ to defeat them. Chita is right, we shouldn’t fight them.

‘Purifying light’ is a legendary azure light. My father told me about it a long time ago, and how it was the foundation of a homunculus that ascended to godhood.

It goes without saying that this isn’t a power I have.

“Hilda, let’s run!”

“Got it! If you say so, Reny!”

We make a quick judgment and accelerate our riding beasts.

Hipota speeds up, but it doesn’t look like Hilda’s Nokoshika can keep up.

The distance between them gradually increases, and the god eaters are getting closer and closer.

They’re going to catch her! What should I do!?

I look around. Apparently the capital Putaresque was once a wasteland.

We don’t have any other option, so I jump on Chita’s proposal.

“Really!? Then let’s go there right away!”

“Yes! Hilda!”

“I heard it! Lead the way!”

I drop Hipota’s speed a little and yell behind me, and Hilda answers.

And so, we run towards this dungeon with an underground waterway, with the god eaters not far behind.
