I have been helping with road projects for several weeks now.

I have been going to the site every few days, and finally I have finished the work that I can help with the alchemists.

Kalene has just sent me a message asking me to take care of some other business, so I decide to go to her tent for the first time in a while.

"May I come in?"

We enter the tent. Immediately, the atmosphere was gloomy and heavy.

It was the same as what I felt when I was sent to help the deadline-driven department at the Alchemy Association.

I was about to return to my own tent, when I gently pulled back the entrance of my tent.

A hand reached out from the side and grabbed my arm.

"Rust, just in time..."

It was Kareen holding my hand.

Kalene, who is quite tough and always energetic, is unusually shaking with dark circles under her eyes.

"Kalene, sir? I hear you have a new job?"

"Yes, I do. But first, I need your help with this," he said as he was dragged by his strong legs to a pile of papers.

The brightness of the tent should have remained the same, but there was something gloomy in the air.

And so it was.

The pale faces of Kalin's men, who are always seen doing paperwork in Kalin's tent, could be seen beyond the pile.

"What? A scream leaked out.

I cough and cover it up.

"Gohoho! What kind of document is this?" I asked him if he could help me with this.

"I'm a transferee to this territory," says Karin.

"Ah. Does that mean you're becoming popular? It's a good thing, isn't it?

"But there are too many. But there are too many. And in a short time, the number has skyrocketed. Rust, take care of that mountain."

Karin sits down on a chair and begins to do some paperwork. Her brow is furrowed.

I take the stack of papers in my arms and move them.

"Do you have an example of how to write this for me?"

When I visit Karin, one of the pale-faced clerks on her staff lends me a document.

With this as a reference, I began to sort the documents by process.

Then I pick up the highest priority ones from the sorted ones.

"Oh! Hmm...

I kept moving my pen absentmindedly in front of the documents.

It was mostly simple work. And then I find myself successfully processing the stack of papers that Karin has given me.

"Kalin? Kareen!"

I call out to her to tell her I'm done, but she doesn't answer.

I look around but can't find her.

When I got up, I found that Kalin was lying on the desk at the communication device in the center of the tent.

"Kalene, you shouldn't sleep here ......," I tell her, shaking Kalene's shoulder.

"Oh, excuse me," wakes up Karin. She looks totally sleepy.

"So, Karin, what is it that you want?"

Oh, yeah, right. As you can see, the number of people who want to move into the new territory has increased so much that we will surely outgrow this encampment alone. Apparently, there have been a lot of suspicious incidents in King's Landing. Maybe that's why the number of applicants is suddenly increasing. What I'm asking you to do is..."

Kalin holds up one finger.

"I want you to find a suitable place outside of this encampment for the new capital.

"Okay. Do you have any conditions?

I've already given the details to Loa. You can discuss it with her along the way."

With that, Kalin wandered back to her paperwork.
