The Goblin's Leveling System!

I ran as fast as I could to reach Holy Church. It didn't take me 10 minutes to reach it.

I didn't use [Gate] inside the Killing Mountain since space magics that were used for teleportation weren't allowed.

It must be caused by an array of some sort.

The [Void] skill that I had used we're allowed since it wasn't used for teleportation but instead used for attack.

I was now outside the barrier that protected the Holy Church from intruders which were proven useless since it was breached by someone.

The person who had breached the barrier must be formidable or at least had some skills about intruding or assassination.

I went inside the barrier while activating the function of every array and it was only used by someone proficient in arrays or the one who constructed the array.

It was [Array Authority]. It would be used to modify the array by the creator of the array himself or someone much better than him.

I didn't modify the arrangement that much since I only allowed my entrance into the inside of the barrier.

It didn't take long. It only took at least 30 seconds of my time.

I was proficient in arrays since it was like learning geography, mathematics, and physics combined into one subject.

The most important aspect in learning how to construct an array was patience but of course, if someone was a genius like me, then they wouldn't need patience and just learned it in several minutes.

It was due to my knowledge of Earth that allowed me to fully understand the b*llshitery written in array guide books and interpret it in my knowledge.

Who would freaking wrote "Be one with nature so that nature will be one with thou." instead of "Take care of the environment so that you will understand the importance of it."

My understanding seemed to be more practical. It's not like I needed to ran around naked and shout "I'm one with nature! Freedom!"

Fantasy which sounds similar to cultivation had its similarities which were to make the guide book profound and made the reader understand such a thing even though only 20% of it was correct.

"Axel? Axel!"

I snapped back from reality and saw Mathew yelling at me. Looks like I was in a daze.

"What is it, Mathew?"

"Well... Sophie and Zale, we're asleep since they were too tired of who knows what they did except for lazing around and eating food provided by the church."

"What about Aerin?"

"Aerin didn't leave her room after you left."

"I figured that much. It was alright for her to not eat for a week, even for a month as long as her mana wasn't empty. The elves possessed a racial attribute such as longevity and one of the reasons why they didn't eat meat that much was because their body doesn't need to eat at all. They only need mana to supply their body so that they would be able to do their everyday routines."

"I had read about that in the Elven Library but sadly, we weren't given enough time to read most of the books in there. I was a bookworm in my previous life since my only entertainment in the hospitals was the books that my family had brought. After all, I was a sickly child and the virus made me breathe my last."

"It was a pity indeed but I know it may sound wrong but I'm glad that you had died since I wouldn't be able to befriend someone like you if you were still back on Earth."

"Thank you. I didn't have any friends in my previous lives because my body needs the support of hospital machines and medication to keep my body active."

"I didn't have to worry about my health but I suffered because of what 'they did to me. I guess it was beneficial for me after I endured the process but I-"

"Can someone break this vine that bound me?! I need to urinate and I promise I won't escape!"

The one who interrupted me was someone who has two horns on his head and had red hair. Yup, it was a demon. No doubt about it. The enemy of the humans and other races.

But since I'm not a human, then why should I bother? I'm a monster, he's a monster. So I guess we are in the same boat?

"Why should I?"

Let's test him a bit of what he could do.

"Well... I would beat you up if you don't?"

"Then isn't that equal to you convincing me not to let you out?"

"I don't know but please hurry up! I'll battle you or whatever you want to do later but please, I'm having trouble to hold it!"

"Fine. But I want a battle."

I waved my hand and the tree that wrapped and bound the demon was gradually loosening him.

I am indeed a master when it comes to complicated things such as an array.

"Well thank you but I have to go!"

He vanished in an instant after he spoke.

"That bastard!"

Mathew was slightly angered as he yelled and bad-mouth the demon.

"He isn't going anywhere. He did keep his word. He just did some [Short Distant Teleport] and went to the forest to do his business."

I said while pointing towards the forest that was at the back of the small house.

"I was relieved that he kept his word or I would have used [Universal Steal] to steal his demonic heart from him."

"Don't bother. It's not worth it since demons who had noble blood such as him had 2 hearts while the demon lords had 3."

"How did you know?"

"I had read it from a book that I had read in the Elven Library. Not to mention that I had personally killed a supreme demon."

I also ate some of the supreme demons that I had defeated to obtain some stats with the use of the [Indestructible Element Devouring Stomach] skill.

Dragon meat tastes better than demon meat and the latter was rather salty. It must be due to sweat.

I waited for at least 2 minutes and the demon was done doing his business in the forest.

[Somewhere Inside The Forest Near The Holy Church]

"Before we start, I want to ask what is your name so if you are a formidable opponent, then I would remember it."

I asked him.

"I am Pedonar Kronos."

The red-haired demon introduced himself while performing a 45 degrees bow.

"My name is Axel Everheart."

I introduced myself while showing off 1% of my strength.

"It looks like that you are indeed formidable. Even I am having a bit of trouble to measure your ability and the possibility that I would be able to withstand your full power."

"Likewise. Even though I am strong, I still lack some skills so please broaden my horizon with your skills."

"It is an honor to fight with someone like you who also values battles as much as I do."

"How about we start the battle?"

"Ready when you are!"

I cast several [Explosive Fireballs] and huge fireballs that had the same size as a wrecking ball were bombarding the red-haired demon.

The explosive fireballs detonated as soon as they came into contact with the red-haired demon.

He withstood the attack by defending using his [Demonic Mana Shield].

He muttered something which I didn't understand but it was somehow used as a magic chant.

A huge magic circle appeared in front of him and a huge green dragon appeared in an instant on top of the magic circle. It was a summoning circle.

"Are you scared? Never did you except that I had summoned a dragon, right?"

"Nah. I was just having mixed feelings after seeing a level 6000 dragon."

"It took me some time to catch this dragon but it paid off seeing that I could boast about it."

The red-haired demon said as he petted the green dragon.

I was surprised that he had a level 6000 dragon since it was already powerful if I compared it to the normal standards of a summoner.

Well, it won't be able to compare to the dragon king that I previously had contracted with.

Are you ready to show off, dragon king?

{Ah, yes. It's cozy inside the space that you had stored me which you called the 'system inventory' but I don't want these old bones to lose some combat experience.}

Ah, I forgot. Do I need to do a summoning circle as the red-haired demon did?

{Such a thing isn't necessary. You could just take me out of the system inventory.}

If you say so...

"Your dragon may be strong but it won't be comparable towards the dragon that I'm going to summon!"

"You have piqued my interest. Care to show me a dragon that is stronger than level 6000?"

"Gladly!"

I took out the dragon king from the system inventory.

A huge dragon that was much bigger than the dragon that the red-haired demon had summoned instantly appeared.

What's more, was that the dragon king was emitting a much deadlier and domineering aura.

"Are you ready to squash a lizard, dragon king?"
