I activated the nitro booster on the hoverboard which made it surpass the speed limit.

I would not be captured by the police since I was given the authority to bypass the law so even if I killed someone, I would not be thrown into prison.

Not that I am planning on killing someone.

After five minutes, I had arrived at the school gate of Eternalsoul High School.

The reason why my surname was in the school name was that it was school tradition to change the name of the school into the surname of the student who contributed most to mankind.

My name would be permanent in the high school name as long as no one invented something that surpassed my inventions in terms of usefulness.

Maybe a century later the school name would be replaced but as long as I'm alive, there wouldn't be anyone who could surpass me.

I entered the school gate and went to my classroom while riding the hoverboard.

I attracted a lot of attention as usual since the hoverboard that I was currently riding was a million-dollar invention that only rich people from influential families would be able to afford.

I'm not from a rich family but rich because of my effort.

I obtained this hoverboard because it is my invention and it would be impossible for me to become poor unless I hit my head and became a retard.

I entered my classroom and went to my armchair and sat on it.

"D*mn! I forgot my backpack!"

Not minding that my classmates were looking at me for loudly swearing, I checked and confirmed that I had indeed forgotten about my backpack.

I could no longer be able to head to the artificial intelligence house of mine also known as dream house since I had used the nitro boost inside the hoverboard.

I was only capable of installing only one nitro boost since it would not fit inside the hoverboard if there were two nitro boosts.

The hoverboard relied on plasma energy instead of fuel so that's the reason why it was faster than a sports car.

The hoverboard was also much more durable compared to a military tank or armored police car considering that I had used the strongest alloy, also known as 'Eternium'.

Eternium was an alloy that I had invented and I had used it as a substitute for steel since it would fall apart due to not being able to withstand the power of the rocket-like engine inside the hoverboard not to mention the nitro boost.

I took out a wristband and an earpiece from the pockets of my jeans.

I wore the wristband on my wrist and then the earpiece on my ear.

I placed the wristband near my mouth and started talking.

"Dreamhouse, send Robot X to deliver my school bag since I had forgotten to bring it."

"Yes, Alex!"

The dream house's artificial intelligence responded and heeded Alex's command.

I checked the time using my wristband and saw that it was 7:24 in the morning.

I hope Robot X would be able to bring my school bag before 7:30 AM.

Five minutes had passed yet I still had not received my school bag from Robot X.

A man in his thirties while wearing a teacher's uniform was entering our classroom but was then hit by Robot X as the man fell on the floor while Robot X handed me the school bag and left.

Will I get deducted score for attacking a teacher unintentionally? I hope not or I would be forced to use Soulerium.

Listen, Alex, you shall not use brute force. Cast away your pride and use a secret technique known as apologize. (Alex is using the third person to himself)

"I'm so sorry, Sir! I'm sure you know the consequences of offending me, right? I can use Soulerium anytime I want that even you don't know that you had vanished from this world."

Was this even an apology? It felt like more of a threat than an apology.

"Ah, yes. It is my fault for being blind and not looking at where I'm heading to. I will forget about this incident so you don't have to do that."

I returned to my armchair and sat on it after the teacher apologized to me. As the saying goes: 'An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth'.

If I apologize then the person I'm apologizing to must also apologize to me. I'm such a genius for comprehending the meaning of the proverb.

The teacher started the lecture as if nothing had happened so I stared towards the window, not listening to the lecture since I already knew about it.

I had studied almost all of the subjects from the first grading to the final grading so it was not a problem to not listen to the teacher's lecture.

It was already 11:45 in the morning and class had been dismissed. It was currently lunchtime so I was waiting at my desk.

A girl wearing her high school uniform and has blonde hair and jade-like eyes entered the classroom while carrying two Tupperwares filled with food.

The girl went to me and handed me the other Tupperware and sat down beside me.

The girl was my girlfriend. Her name is Erin Xelfina.

I was embarrassed to recall but I still remembered that she was the one who confessed her feelings to me instead of me.

"What do you plan on doing for our school project on our Research subject? We need to submit a research title and start our research."

"I already had thought about research that we should conduct. Remember the comatose incident which had unknown cause?"

"Yes, I remembered watching that on tv. Are you planning on solving that case?"

"Yes. I'm sure that with my intelligence it should be 99% possible to find out the reason why the high school students suffered from an unknown disease and fell into a comatose state."

"That will take a lot of time and cost us a lot of funds as well."

"I have the time I want and my funds are almost limitless. All I need to do was find out the reason why and then we can submit it."

"I'll go to your house if you want to conduct the research now."

Erin took a bite from a fried chicken leg and munched on it before replying to me.

"I'm glad that yo-"

My body started to feel weak and I fell on the floor. I can't move my body as if my brain was not functioning. Good thing my heart and lungs were still functioning.

My eyes closed and I saw nothing.

A transparent blue screen showed up in front of me with a message that said: "If you dig deeper into the secrets of the system, you will suffer more than this!"

After I finished reading that, I shifted my gaze and saw 72 other beings which were nothing but covered in darkness.

The system message disappeared and my consciousness had returned.
