The Heavenly Monarch System

Jiang Tian had his eyes closed while he listened to the instructions of the system command, he knew that the merging of his body and the system was a success he was able to last through the ordeal of the pain that he was dealing.

With his eyes closed Jiang Tian was not able to see anything, but he was still able to hear the movements of his surroundings. The rustling noise that came from leaves being step on entered his ears. But he was currently filled with happiness at the moment.

He was able to completely merge with the system now, all the pain that he had suffered from the past day was all worth it. The only problem that he had now was the fact that he was currently about to be killed by the two dunce.

The footsteps that from before got closer and closer to him, he knew that it was inevitable so Jiang Tian mustered his strength and stood up from where he was lying from.

The short and tall man notice this and was immediately startled, they had just been watching him dying from pain earlier but now in front of them he was already standing up. However they both notice that he was already looking exhausted and he was unarmed.

The two of them threw the thought that they had earlier about him suddenly having the strength to make a comeback from his current situation in their mind they were already thinking about the reward that was promised to them when they get back.

"Young master kiang seems like you are already at your last breath, don't make this anymore harder for all of us just quietly accept your destiny and die already for us." The tall man spoke in a disdainful manner as he quickly dash towards the direction of Jiang Tian.

The short man stood where he was and watched the scene that was about to unfold, they were both at the third level of body refinement and although that was a very weak and could only be compared to those pitiful guards in the City they were still stronger that Jiang Tian by a whole level.

Jiang Tian was widely known thrash amongst thrash in the Red City, he was only at the second level of body refinement so what can he do and even if he did some way to the save himself at his current situation, he was still confident that with the both of him and his partner they would be able kill him without any doubt.

He was expecting more for Jiang Tian to run away once more like a rat, but he clearly saw him stood his ground not moving from where he stand.

"DIE!" The tall man saw this and was enrage, he felt that he was being underestimated by that thrash of the City, although he was just a guard he was still stronger than Jiang Tian. He felt like he was being looked down upon, just like how a hunter as it looked the pitiful prey.

He swung the sword that he took out earlier to Jiang Tian, he slashed downwards in an attempt to cleave him into two. He then saw that Jiang Tian was still not moving from where he stood he was actually being ignored.

Jiang Tian wasn't actually ignoring but he was just looking at the comical scene that was unfolding in his eyes, what he was seeing right now was the flow of spiritual energy that was coming from the sword of the tall man.

What made him have the feeling to laugh was the fact that the tall man was actually acting high and mighty when the movement that he was displaying looked as if he was moving in slow motion in the eyes of Jiang Tian.

Seeing this play out in front of him Jiang Tian wanted to laugh, he made a slight motion and turned to the side letting the sword pass through where he previously was. He then saw the tall man moved forward caused by the force that was behind his attack.

The tall man was about to hit the ground but when he caught a glimpsed of Jiang Tian in the corner of his eyes for some reason he felt that something was wrong, then when he was about to make out what was really happening at the moment he felt a pain that was coming from his side.

Jiang Tian gave a punch on the side of his body making him kneel down on the floor from the pain, he then walked in front of the tall man and gave him a long looked before saying "Who's the thrash now you piece of shit."

The tall man heard what Jiang Tian had said so he force himself to lift his head and looked at him who was in the process of taking the sword that he dropped earlier when he got punch at the side of his body, in his eyes there were only confusion on what was happening.

His head was spinning as he thought of the reason why and what he came up with was that [He was faking us all this time, and not only that he have been faking the whole City all this time. That's right that has to be it why else am I on the ground like this.]

The more his mind drift the more idea he came up like how Jiang Tian have only been acting like a weakling all this time but was actually strong that was at the very fifth level of body refinement. Fear started to corrode his mind, he was thinking about how he will end up if what he thought was true.

He then heard him said "You can rest now you piece of thrash, I am not that angry at you so I will let you die with an easy death."

Jiang Tian made a horizontal slashing motion so he decapitate him quickly, but then when he was doing this he heard something and when he move his eyes to checked what it is he saw in the corner of his eyes the short man that was with the tall man rushing towards their direction.

Seeing this Jiang Tian didn't even bother to slow down the sword that was on his hand, he gave him the short man a quick look before accelerating the sword swing to kill his prey faster.

Thud

The head of the tall man was severed away from his body, in his eyes there were still confusion to what actually was happening there were questions that was still unanswered for him, he even looked like he was still unsure that he was already dead.

Seeing the head of his companion being severed away the short man was angered, his eyes became red as he dashed to Jiang Tian. He took the sword that was hanging on his waist and circulated the spiritual energy in his body.

He poured all that he had on this attack, he was not even thinking of making any preparation for defense he screamed as he slashed downwards with rage "Boulder Cleaver! Die you f.u.c.k.i.n.g thrash."

Swoosh

The short man was like a boulder that was dropping from the sky as he cleave with his sword downwards to Jiang Tian, but when he saw him trying to get away from him he redirected his trajectory without any hesitation, and because of this the veins that was already bulging out of his body bulge even more some even popped from the pressure.

The short man was blinded by the rage as he chased after Jiang Tia, noticing the change that just happened to the way the short man attack made Jiang Tian have a headache. Checking if there was any chance for him to move Jiang Tian checked every possible way around him.

But sadly there were not, the short man was about to drop to him with that sword. And without any way to dodge Jiang Tian chose to stand his ground and receive the rage attack of the short man.

Boom

Jiang Tian took on the attack head on, he focused all of his energy to his sword in order to fortify it, but despite this the attack of the short man was still strong and the sword that he was using as a shield was actually cleave into two by the short man's attack.

Seeing his sword being split into two Jiang Tian was left unguarded, the sword of the short man made its way to the shoulder of Jiang Tian. Blood spilled all over the white robe that he was spilling dying it in red color.

Jiang Tian was not given the time to scream as the sword of the short man was actually still moving downwards, focusing his energy Jiang Tian wrapped the sword with his Spiritual Energy and forcefully made it stop.

He grabbed the sword that was stuck onto him and broke it into two, then he made quick movement and used what remained of his sword and stabbed the short man in the neck letting the blood gush out of his severed arteries and veins.

While he was seated under that tree he looked at the two corpses near him and smiled, this was the first time that he killed somebody but strangely enough he was still calm as ever like what he just did was normal.

Then as he looked at the two corpse that was still bleeding a smile crept on his face, he was feeling the happiness that came from accomplishing great things. He just killed two people that was at the third level of body refinement.

While he was thinking of how great he was now he heard a sound inside his hjead.

Ding Ding

"Host have successfully completed the mission of killing the two pursuers, with the completion of the mission the reward of five thousand experience points."

"You have levelled up, you are now level four, you need another five thousand to level up, the experience that the host have is currently at one thousand six hundred another four thousand experience point is needed so host can level up."

The voice of the system begun to fill Jiang Tian with information regarding his current status and what he notice was the fact that he had an extra six hundred experience points in his reserve. Thinking about it he was able to make out that it was most probably from the two guys that he just killed.

"Seems like killing can be a way to earn this experience points, Time to go home for now I guess I can't treat this wound here."

But as he was about to get up from where he was seated he heard a ding inside his head.
