The Incomplete Poetess

The universe seems not to respond when you're near.

Would it be just for me to only stare?

Never thought a smile like yours existed;

Hold on! Let it be persistent.

Awake I am but thought runs away:

"Catch them!" I see my senses making a way.

Though I become clueless, you're the only one I can read

Your words run through my ears with rhythm and beat.

Can we dance till morning or till my desperate heart says 'enough'?

Does it even matter or are you too tough?

Your fingers between mine,

With you, I'm getting drunk even with the softest wine.

You held me closer making me breathless,

It was the moment when everything became completely worthless.

Under the stars we danced;

Well, I remember and remember that every glance.
