After saying this, she went to her room, crying. Falling on her bed, tears started to run down like a waterfall. Her face was as hot as fire, as red as a tomato. She cupped her head in her hands. Who knows for how long she was crying. Finally, when she got into her senses, she sat up. Having a complex feeling, sad, angry and depressed. Her phone lit up. It was a message from Linda. Perfect timing, thought Emily angrily.

Linda: Hey Emily. How did it go? I'm pretty sure it's a yes! Right! Congrats in advance. LOL.

Emily: Congrats my foot.

Linda: Uhhh… Excuse me? You okay?

Emily: You think?

Linda: Uhm. I take my words back. It seems a no, like I mean, a big no.

Emily: As big as your foot.

Linda: Come on! What the hell just happened? You seem to be really agitated.

Emily: You think?

Linda: Cut the crap. Tell me.

So Emily told her what exactly happened, each and every second was explained in a dramatic way. All Linda could do was comfort her, it didn't seem to work though. She promised her to take her out after school. That made Emily feel a little better. Just after she was done talking to Linda. Another message popped up, from an unknown number.

Unknown person: Is this Mr. Johnathan?

Emily: Excuse me?

Unknown person: Sir, I am Aiden.

Emily was dumbstruck. Aiden was the most popular boy in the entire college! How did he get her number? And who on earth was Mr. Johnathon?

Emily: I am sorry Aiden, but I am not Mr. Johnathon. I am Emily.

Aiden: You mean my class fellow???

Emily: Haha, yes!

Aiden: Oh my! I am so sorry. I did not mean it.

Emily: It's okay.

Aiden: Well, forget about Mr. Johnathon. I don't have his number.

Emily: So, where did you get my number?

Aiden: Cooper gave me Mr. Johnathon's card, and I lost it, so I had to dial in the number from my memory. Didn't expect I would message you. Haha.

Emily: Haha.

Aiden: Well then, I'll save your number. Sorry for disturbing once again. Bye!

Emily: No worries. Bye!

It was an awkward moment for Emily. She totally forgot what had happened before and sent the screenshots to Linda. "Haha! He has your number, all the other girls will be so jealous! LOL!!!" texted Linda. Emily sent her laughing emoji and replied, "I don't want to tell anyone about this. They will think I am a weirdo. Especially, Ivy." Linda agreed.

After putting her phone down, Emily was again upset. I don't care, I will compete in the games no matter what. I'll just go to the gym tomorrow and build some strength so I can compete in the games easily. Thought Emily. Saying this she studied and went to sleep without eating dinner.
