The King Alpha's Mate

We arrived at a very huge Palace surrounded by high walls that's thick and massive. There were four guards standing at the front gate and i can see few people at the top of the wall. Big men with heavy armors, they must be the Palace guards. Just like an ancient movies and histories that i just read on books of Palaces at medieval times I am now walking into the real palace owned by the Royal wolves. The Palace grounds is vast and picturesque that I would have admired it if i am not taken against my will.

But just like most Royalties that hid it's own secrets and scandals in deceits and lies. The perks in this place are the beasts, the creatures who drinks blood. The wolves who worships the Moon Goddess and takes in a human form to blend in the land of the people. But I am now their property as taken by their Alpha.

Beta Matias rolled down the glass window beside him confirming to one of the guards the arrival of Alpha Prince Jack. They quickly open the wide rough iron gates to let our car in. Inside was a huge road and we went the opposite way from where the Limousine of the King and Queen drove, they were just ahead of us by a few meter distance before..

As the car halt in front of a huge entrance, Alpha Jack turned towards me and spoke.

"This is the entrance to my chambers Carmela and as you can see the Palace is so big that you cannot go out alone. I would assign a personal guard aside from the two chambermaid that we have."

"Come now, it's time for you to see the place".

I sighed and was about to open my door but he hold my hand stopping me from the act.

"Allow me to open the door for you mate, get used to it..Queens does not open their doors directly. They stay and wait for their King or the trusted Royal driver to open it for them.

"It is for your own safety".

I looked at him confused but I didn't say anything, I don't think I'm fit to be Queen. The image of Queen Helen, his mother dances through my mind and it just made me feel more unfitting to be the next Queen Luna.

"Whatever you say Alpha Jack".

I just said softly and get off the car following him as he walked on ahead expecting me to be just behind.

We walked into a huge hall way with a grand staircase. The paintings on the wall was a picture of Jack as a young boy starting from the day he was born. He looked cute as a baby and a very good looking child. Until he's on his teens with his parents beside him. There was also a picture of a young girl who resembles the Queen perfectly. She must be Jack's sister I could already tell based on her features. She's so lovely like the Queen, she should be the next queen not me.

"You will meet my annoying little sister at dinner time, i just wished she wouldn't teach you any tricks or puts a funny idea unto your head."

Alpha Jack smirked while placing his eyes at the same picture where i was looking, but I don't feel any hatred towards the words that he described for his sister.

"Cool, you have a sister too".

Hearing that remind me of my big sister Hannah, i wonder what does her and Dad up to today.

"Yes i do..come now Carmela let's take the stairs to our room."

"Our room?

"Our room! Do not make me repeat myself." I noticed the annoyance in his accent.

He grab my hand and pulled me roughly that i almost stumble on the stairs. I tried moving faster to match his pace and thank God we made it up without tripping.

We stopped at the front of a big wooden double doors with a crown carved on it's center. The door suddenly opened and two ladies in uniform greeted us before bowing down theirs heads. I was about to open my mouth and say something but Alpha Jack beat me to it.

"Cory and Claire are the personal maids in this chamber. They are omegas, they cook, clean and will tend to your every wishes".

He added and the two girls looked at us and smiled. The woman named Cory looks younger than Claire and both are wearing a white apron above a checkered blue dress.

"Welcome to Alpha Jack's home Luna!

The woman named Claire smiled at me and Cory did the same. I felt pity for both of them and wondered if they are wolves too, they have a harmless aura and they look like human. No spark in their eyes like how i see on Alpha Jack and his other wolves.

"Thank you.."

Was the only word that come out of my mouth.

"You two can go for now, you're Luna is tired from the flight and will have a few hour rest. I will be needing your assistance before dinner".

Alpha Jack dismissed them like an excess baggage inside the room. I am starting to get annoyed by his attitude.

The two woman bowed their heads and retreated to the door.

"This is our room, feel free to look around. The bed is inside that door. We have a small kitchen downstairs if you need Cory or Claire just dial the first number in the phone and they will come to your aid."

"I'm taking a shower, you are free to join me if you want? He made an open invitation.

I saw his fingers move to the buttons of his shirt slowly unbuttoning them. I swallowed a lump in my throat and divert my eyes away from the sight of his hard chest.

"N-no.. I'll check out the bedroom".

I almost faltered my steps towards the bedroom and opened the door which revealed a huge and luxurious King sized bed.

There were two paintings in left and right side of the wall one is Alpha Prince Jack in a sophisticated Royal outfit sitting on a golden chair. While the other one is a Wolf, a huge furry beast in dark gray color. His eyes are golden brown and they looked at me like i am it's prey. A shiver ran from my body as the fear in my heart started to fill my whole being. I don't like that picture.

The fully carpeted floors and the luxurious beddings on the bed seemed to make the room more restful and calming, well except for that one painting. There is a big sliding glass door that is covered by hand embroidered curtains and drapes. The nightstands and drawers are also beautiful and artistic, this whole room is like a piece of art.

I put back my eyes on the intimate huge bed and I slightly blushed at the thought of me and the Alpha sleeping in the bed. If it is only sleeping that's going to happen? I mentally check myself and wondered why my heart started beating faster. Am i having a crush on that handsome beast? What will i do if he decided to make love to me, can I stopped him?

Lord, i have no experience over a man yet aside from hugs and kisses. What will i do now, my first time will be with a werewolf and I'm not even inlove with hime. I only have a few hours to think of a way out. I walked towards the sliding glass door and opened it with both of my hands.

The beautiful balcony showed a breathtaking view of the sky and the fresh garden full of roses. Alpha Jack must have liked roses because his previous mansion too, have plenty of them at the front yard. I walked out and see if someone could get out through the iron railings i shook my head calculating the height below, i think I wouldn't make it without a broken bone.

"I think you should start getting ready for the dinner Carmela, we only have two hours left before it will start and you have to choose what to wear."

I gasped when i glanced at Alpha Jack with his big arms crossed and his eyes are intently looking at me standing from the side of the glass door. He had finished his shower. He's only wearing a thick white robe and his hair a little wet from. He also looked fresh and beautiful against the light of the fading sun. Then I realized it is almost sundown. I breathed in and moved towards the room. Passing him, i smelled his intimate woodsy scent from the shower.

"Ok i will take a quick shower..

"Enjoy the shower while I'll have them bring the clothes up so you can choose a dress for the dinner when you finish."

I went to the big bathroom that he used and closed the door behind me. I wondered if Jack caught me thinking of finding a way out through the balcony.
