The King Alpha's Mate

I went out of the bathroom feeling cleaned and refreshed, when the sight of more than a dozen dresses inside the room surprised me. They were elegantly hanged in two rails with Cory and Claire standing on the side.

"Hi Luna! Please take your pick with the clothes that Alpha Jack sent for the Royal dinner this evening".

Claire's smile is excited while Cory stayed silent eyeing me with shyness and something like admiration in her dark eyes.

"Uhm, is this really necessary?

I snorted and face myself at the full body mirror that i only noticed for the first time.

Hearing what i said, Cory gasped and made a comment. "Of course Luna! Every important people of the Royal Pack will be there, so you need to dressed up. And Alpha Jack strictly instructed us to help you with the clothes".

I sighed and ran my hand over my long hair that is slightly damp from the shower i only had a quick ran over it from the hair dryer in the bathroom.. I just blowed dry it for about a couple of minutes before i came out. Upon realizing that i just have on a towel wrapped around my body. I looked around to see if someone had brought my luggage into the bedroom.

"Luna, the dressing room is in that door. You're personal things are already there if that is what you're looking for".

Claire must have guessed what's on my mind, and i was glad that she did.

"Oh thank you Claire".

I smiled and open a medium size door to where she pointed out. The room is covered in glass and I already see my things neatly folded at the open shelves. I stepped inside and checked the drawers for my underwear and luckily i found them neatly place inside. I took my favorite seamless bikini and a nude color push up bra then put it on after removing the towel in my body. The room is big enough that it can accommodate both Alpha Jack's clothes and mine.

"Wow you look so lovely Luna! i can choose just the perfect dress for your figure".

I blushed and turned towards the door in surprised at Claire's voice complimenting me. It's the first time that a stranger had seen me in just my underwear.

"Thank you Claire, please bring me your best choice".

I took a deep breath and thought maybe I would just move along with the people in this house for the time being.

She left me inside and i heard her talked for a bit to Cory and then she came back holding two dresses in her hand. One striking red dress and the other in pale blue cocktail which is shorter.

I choose the latter.

"Good choice Luna, that one will surely look good on you".Claire smiled at me.

"Thanks Claire, I can get dressed alone. You girls can wait for me outside".

"Of course Luna".

Claire slightly bow down her head to me and walked out of the dressing room.

I could never get used to the word Luna coming from the people in this place. But I cannot object because i know they were just following as what is instructed by their Alpha.

I put the dress on and pull up the tight zip on the side. It fits just perfectly in my waistline and the off shoulder thing showed my cream skin from my neck and collar bone and a little bit of my cleavage. I like how the cut is slightly shorter in the front and higher at the back. I wished i had a necklace on and the outfit would be perfect.

A loud clearing of someone's throat caught me in surprised. I shifted my eyes from the mirror and noticed Alpha Jack in a navy suit. The suit which fitted so well in his toned muscles in both of his arms and legs. He even looks sexier than before.

"Did i passed?

He smirked while walking slowly towards me. He must have noticed the way I looked at him, i felt a little embarrassed but i acted like it was nothing.

"Well, you looked good in a suit".

I gulp down a lump in my throat and decided to just compliment him.

He's smirked turned into a dangerous smile and the sparkle of amusement danced in his light brown eyes.

"This is something new Carmela..you complementing me. Now I'm beginning to think that you are accepting your fate as my mate".

He looked at me with those deep hypnotizing eyes that made me unable to turn my look elsewhere but only with him. Then in a split second i was pulled against his hard chest.

I felt muted and just stares at him stars-trucked.

"You look so good tonight Carmela, it will be so hard to resist not making you mine this evening".

I felt my cheeks burn with the intensity of his deep voice.

Then He lowered his head beside my ear and inhaled deeply. Breathing in all of the air that surrounds me and rendered me breathless with anticipation.

"I- i need to have some shoes on to match my dress".

Thinking of an excuse to get away from the sudden rushed of emotions, I remembered my feet have no shoes on.

He groaned and grab my waist with his right arm while his other hand move up at the base of my neck.

"The shoes is beside the bed you will wear it before we leave. But not after this".

He tilted my chin upward so that i was forced to looked at his fiery eyes. I didn't know what to say but my body is anticipating a kiss when he slowly lowered his lips against mine.

It was soft and gentle at first I could feel his warm and moist lips just molding against my own. Then i moaned unable to stop the pleasure from running through my veins. He open his mouth and fully kiss me with his tongue seeking entrance, I answered by opening my lips and meeting his tongue in a sweet motion.

He grab my two hands and place it around his neck pulling me closer against his hard body. His hands behind my back tightened as his kisses grew deeper and taking in all that I could offer. His tongue swept my mouth hungrily which awakens the waves of passion i have been hiding deep inside me maybe even since the moment that we met.

Then i was raised against the floor. Carrying me in his arms with his strong hands he slowly lay me down in a soft cushion. I have no idea what it was because i was lost in the moment but then I thought it could be the bed because we were inside his room. He moved a little lower kissing me under my chin, sucking and nipping my neck as his kisses lowered unto the hollow of my throat.

I felt the hot sensation rising in between my thighs and urging me to move my body against him. His hand traveled from my waist to my stomach squeezing me gently then it move up to cupped my breast. Alpha Jack moved away from me and quickly stood up beside the bed. His suit was slightly crumpled and the looked in his eyes says something bad is gonna happen to whoever is outside the door.

"I apologize but you need to get up and fix yourself a little Carmela, my father won't be pleased if we come late for the dinner".

"I'm sending Claire and Cory to help you".

With that said he walked fast and opened the bedroom door. I was about to protest but couldn't get a chance to do so.

Claire already came in with a smile on her face while Cory followed her behind. I have to get used to this two individuals invading my own personal space from now on as i never asked others to help me with just fixing my own self.
