*Carmela's POV*

After we have seen the vision from Maleficus, Jack insisted I go home first. I wanted to stay and help him but I didn't want to argue. The situation was already sensitive with Darius and Helen feeling unhappy with what we saw.

So I went home with Gemer driving the car, he was waiting for me outside the meeting hall as instructed by Alpha King Jack.

"Thank you for waiting Gemer".

I smiled and nod at him while he opened the door for me to get in.

"You're welcome Queen Carmela, I hope the vision was to our advantage."

Gemer stated while maneuvering the engine to go. I sighed deeply and turned my eyes towards the window..

"It was alright but wait until your Alpha King revised the plans for the battle. They were plotting for new strategies in order to overcome the troubles that you would come across".

Gemer furrowed his brows while looking at the rear mirror but sensing that I wasn't in the mood for a longer conversation made him stop talking.

When we arrived, I silently got out of the car and headed to our chambers alone. This will be a long night again, i will be lucky if Jack comes home to sleep but knowing he would settle some things and discuss strategies with Maleficus makes it obvious.

It was six in the morning when i woke up feeling Jack's arm behind my head. I inhaled deeply missing his scent for almost a day. Then i slowly glanced and turned on my side, not wanting to disturbed his peaceful sleep.

He laid beside me without any clothes on, his warm skin is giving delights against my body who is only covered by a thin fabric of my nighties. I watched his muscular chest that slowly rise and fall by the rhythm of his breathing. It was the most beautiful sight that i wish i could see every morning, but him being busy as a King Alpha makes this moment a luxury for my eyes.

My hand itched to touched him, and i was powerless against my own when my right hand moved to caressed his flat and lean stomach. I bit my lip by the feeling when I touched his skin. Soft...hard and heavenly.

"Hmmm for how long have you been drooling over me my Queen?

Jack chuckled and slowly moves his head to face me. I gasped and my throat went dry, the sight of his handsome face and his eyes dancing with amusement made my morning bright. Even brighter than the ray of sunshine after the storm.

I never knew what would happen in the coming battle but I could only pray to the Moon Goddess for him to win the war. The future is not always certain but if his father will die, I know Jack will do everything to prevent that from happening.

He didn’t say anything about the plans he would take or the visions they have seen the day after. But i trust that everything will be alright, i trust that the Moon Goddess will give us a good course of fate.
