The King Alpha's Mate

*Carmela's POV*

A few minutes have passed, i finally relaxed back in my chair. But after a while I asked Jack that I would like to went out for a minute, to just powder my nose in the comfort room. He nods his head and whispered.

"Make it quick love.."

"I'll be back before you know it". I whispered in return then turned to walked away, I was aware of his eyes that stared at my ass while I gracefully swayed my hips.

"Later..my love". I heard him murmured in the air, which made my heart flutter and the pit of my stomach ache. A pleasurable ache that only meant for him.

The luxury bathrooms was just about more than a hundred steps farther from the dinner hall. As I stepped out of it, the quiet and cold walk way have made me think about what the woman said. It made me so mad, I almost lost my cool in front of the dinner table. It was a very unlikely attitude for a queen.

Seeing that I arrived at the comfort area, I pushed the door of the rooms and went in. The six cubicles inside are empty, judging by all the open doors and the serene atmosphere.

I turned the faucet on and face myself at the huge mirror, while placing my hands in the white and tidy washbasin. I was aware when the main door opened. The figure of the woman in grey hair came in, Ayah. She looked beautiful in a red striking long gown and her silver grey hair stands out the most. There's something about her eyes when she looked at me, something weird that I can't quite comprehend.

"Oh my Queen, glad to see you here."

She gaze at me in the huge mirror of the comfort room and wash her hands like I did.

"Oh Hello there..Ayah right?

"Yes Queen Carmela, thank you for remembering my name correctly. And I would like to apologized for Gretta and the thing she said about you and the Alpha King."

The friendly smile in her face seemed so unnatural to me, but I just replied a smile back and took the white towel beside me to dry my hands.

"That's alright now, I know my mate would never listen to anyone. Specially with regards to our relationship inside the Palace. An heir will soon arrived at the perfect time when the Moon Goddess decides".

She suddenly holds my hand in a whim and her eyes dazed and discolored.

"Oh, but there's no sign of it".

"What?". I was surprised by her sudden touched.

I shook her hand away. I don't understand what she's saying. Her eyes suddenly turned back to normal. Pale blue and very unhappy, i wonder why that is.

"I'm so sorry Queen Carmela, before you think of something let me introduce myself. I am the most ancient witch of the Cold Mountain pack. You may not recognized my true energy and power since i am in my human form. But i know you are a rare she wolf, born because of the mate bond from the Alpha King but the Langstone descendant has no match in your powerful wolf."

"What are you talking about?

I asked horrified, my voice suddenly raised and my feelings confused.

Her eyes turned a shade darker and the door suddenly locked. All the cubicles made a loud noise when one by one the door closes with the motion of her hand. Suddenly there's an air that swirls around the room, it was odd because the doors are closed. Maybe she is not lying after all.

"Relax my Queen I am just trying to convince you that I'm no ordinary being. And that I know you can never conceived, but you are lucky we meet. Because I know just to cure your barren wolf."

I shook my head from the words that she said. "No, I am not barren! That's not true, Maleficus said I will get pregnant but he just couldn't tell when. You have no right to insult a Queen!".

My body trembles as I spoke. I am filled with disappointment but I refused to believe her, I just can't.

"Do forgive me my queen, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. But please allow me to explain. Open your mind and hear me out, even Maleficus can't tell when. Because it is already fated, you will bear an heir only because of me."

"How dare you say that! What do you mean because of you? Explain yourself before I mind link the warriors of the pack. The Alpha King will not tolerate your insults at me".

"I am not insulting you Queen Carmela, I am only telling the truth. Your wolf is barren and no matter how much the King Alpha loved and adored you, he will never make you pregnant. There will be no heir not until I help you".

I stepped back ready to run away through the door but my feet felt like it is glued on the floor, I could no longer take another step.

"If you are interested to know, come to my room tomorrow night. Because the day after that we are going to leaved this placed and it will be difficult for you as Queen to come see me in the North. If you come to me, I will gave you the cure that you need. You will finally get pregnant and carry the Alpha King's child. And if that happens, the Alpha King will no longer take a mistress to give him an heir."

My breathing turned ragged and my heart beat fast. Is she telling the truth? How would I know?

"How do I know that you are telling the truth? What is your proof?

"Simple my Queen, because I know Alpha Zero is the mate of Princess Jasmin. I am the one who masked his sense of smell for a mate. Alpha Zero doesn't know his mate is just here and I will not tell him. My loyalty is for my Alpha and he never wanted anything bad for the King Alpha and you the Queen Luna. All because of the alliance that binds him and us to all of you here."

My eyes turned wide with what she had just said, she knew everything from the start. She even knew the secret that only the three of us, Princess Jasmin, Maleficus and me knows. I swallowed a lump in my throat and I couldn't find the right words to reply.

But there is just one bad news that I couldn't deny anymore. My wolf is barren, I could not produced an heir. I have no ability to continue the Langston family! What should I do, if I don't agree and refuse her help? Jack will find a mistress to give him an heir. All because Princess Jasmin couldn't find her mate too.

"I..will accept your help! But you have to tell me what you need in return, and why are you helping me?."

I almost bit my tongue when the words came out of my mouth. I couldn't help but question myself if I have made the correct decision. What if I am wrong, what if this witch is just fooling me.

"Great choice my Queen! As always, you think of the Pack's future more than your own. And you knew King Alpha Jack will not only have you but he will get another woman if you can't produce an heir. You have no time to waste. Give me your hand and swear to me you will agree to what I will ask. Let's do this here and now".

"No!

I shook my head vigorously.

"Tell me what you asked for and I will swear to you if I can make it possible".

"I need you to find the Princess for me and bring her back into this Palace. Convince her to take Alpha Zero as a mate."

"Oh! That's ridiculous! How can I do that when it's your Alpha's choice not to smell the scent of his mate. And why are you so much into making Alpha Zero as her mate? That will not be an easy task".

"Oh but it is...Princess Jasmin will feel the mate's pull. Unlike Alpha Zero, she is not masked. She will soon craved for her mate, and that's why you need to help her. Make their bond complete, because I cannot force my Alpha to do that. He have lost the will to find his mate, he thinks it is a weakness. And Alpha Zero just wanted to be strong".

"What do you mean by that? Who are you?".

"Think about it my Queen, you have until tomorrow night. Just say the word and I will make your wished of an heir become a reality. Don't you want to bare a child? The King Apha's child?..

In all her questions, I only have one answer and that is a yes!
