The Latest Game Is Too Amazing
Lesson five, first party one.
"Collection of materials for intermediate potions? No, it's not a place with a lot of orcs like that, a place where every rookie can go."
The man at the Adventurer Guild reception - I asked Carlo and got an earlier answer.
......... yeah no.
There are a few limitations to requesting a quest.
One of them is level.
I can't ask for that quest unless I'm above a certain level.
Perhaps this quest also applies.
Say you got one more level in the fight against Killerby. Still level is 6.
There will be many quests you can't ask for.
Or maybe it's a quest for party play recommendations.
A party………….
In these MMORPGs, players often work in groups of multiple players rather than solo. This is called a party.
The benefit of the party is that you can deal with many monsters stronger than you would for a longer period of time in order to get support from your allies.
Advantages include the fact that the experience of monsters is distributed among the number of parties.
While the level at the beginning is low, it is more efficient to get EXP by yourself, and you can be distant because you have fewer skills and can't afford to support your buddies as a party, but a party can be more efficient when you have to deal with a monster that is stronger than the level.
It's more fun to play while talking to your buddies than to play on your own in the long run - a lot of people would party for that kind of conversation purpose.
Well, this is a MMORPG I've done in the past, so I don't know if this other world is the same.
But any of them will need to be at the party.
The first encounter you make is spared when you think about it that way.
If I'd known him then, I might have had to throw a party and not worry about it by now.
Actually, I have a few memories of the party with the MMORPG I played before.
The game had a function called a party matching function, and when registered, it displayed information such as level and occupation and informed other players of their desire to participate in the party.
At the time, as a novice who didn't know much about MMORPG, I also tried to sign up for a party match.
But no matter how long I waited, no one spoke.
The only thing left on the party matching screen is the name of my character, and the other players I signed up for later ended the day with what a miserable result of being invited to the party early.
Still, I didn't screw up. I kept signing up for party matches and finally got invited to the party on the fifth day.
I replied to someone who was joyful and brave enough to solicit me to the party - in letters because it's a traditional game.
But it seems that the person who solicited him was looking for a recovery role, and he accidentally solicited him by mistake as the player that appeared under me on the party matching screen.
Sorry, I made a mistake with someone else - the word broke my heart that day and I logged out as I was.
This is something I learned later, but the job I chose was the stand-alone firepower. There, it wasn't very effective for monsters with a lot of jamming skills. It was a anti-personnel job and unsuitable for hunting, and it was a mine occupation for players who were less likely to be invited to the party.
So now I tried to invite myself to a party, but at the end of the day, I was distanced from people in that profession and turned down, and at the end of the day, I threw a party with them in the same profession, signed up for a party matching and made it a story that we still sold each other what remained of our names, and I had a strange sense of companionship playing with them.
I enjoyed that one, but I don't think so this time.
Magicians are a selling profession with high firepower, and it won't be that bad.
Now I just have to get to the level and make sure I can get the quest done.
I'll think about the party then.
Ask Carlo if he has another new quest.
But before that came a man with a beard.
Hmm? What the hell?
"Hey, if you're going to ask for a quest, why don't you join us?
......... Pa, Purdun?
What did this guy say now?
"Actually, there aren't enough people on this quest to contract. I'm looking for the right guy, why don't you join me?
What, am I being invited to a party right now?
Are you serious?
"... why me?
I speak out unexpectedly.
'Cause there's about a dozen guys in the guild who seem so resilient that they think it would be better to do a skinhead or a deeply wounded thief on their face.
I don't know if it's a player, but it's unlikely that there's a single player, and a few matches would be fine with them.
Well, if it's a game, appearance doesn't necessarily lead directly to strength.
Even a little girl like a child can have the sight of an endless storm with a huge weapon, but it seems like there's not enough merit in inviting me at a low level.
"You're new here, aren't you? Actually, there are two newcomers here. I asked for this quest to train them, but the two newcomers and one of the prospective players are tough. I was wondering if we could throw a party between the same rookies if we could."
…… to the extent that it becomes. Is that so?
There is a pattern where even if a party is organized and a monster is defeated, the members of the party are not given EXP and cannot be retrieved.
One of them is if the level difference between the members in the party exceeds 10.
For example, when a Level 15 character and a Level 5 character form a party, it is possible to obtain EXP, but no matter how many monsters you defeat when you work with a Level 4 character, you cannot obtain EXP.
This is one of those acts called power leveling where extremely high level players party with lower-level characters to level low-level characters as soon as possible, and is a treatment to keep them from doing so.
These power levelings are not recommended.
There are several reasons for that.
One is that low-level players become too dependent on others and become poorly skilled players without learning what to do in the hunt.
These players are prone to sacrifice their allies and tend to be hated by other players.
There are other problems such as long hunting grounds monopolies because they can be leveled safely, and it is easy to get in trouble for things to develop and be exposed online.
Sometimes some of them do strong auxiliary magic, lend powerful weapons and treat them as power leveling, but some people purely help beginners so its hard to draw that line.
I personally think it would be more enjoyable as a player not to aid excessively.
Aside from that, you must have called out to me because of those problems.
...... what luck!
I wonder if we could get along with this and get an invitation to not attend the party in the future!
Desperately suppresses the appearance of a nibble in your face with excess joy.
Not yet, you should properly ask what kind of quest you will still be contracting and what kind of member you are.
Depending on the party combination and quest, it can be luggage as opposed to combat power.
It's a quest I can ask for at my first party.
You want to be as successful as you can!
Besides, if I'm happy here, I'll give the embarrassing impression that I'm a homeless player with no friends.
Me, weigh myself in!
"……… I want to see what quests I can ask before I do so, and also about the party members."
Respond with great care to avoid mixing delight.
The bearded man showed the color of understanding.
"All right, then can you come over here? I'll introduce you to my people now. Yeah, you're late for a name, I'm Havok. Say hello."
There were three men and women at the table brought to Havok.
Guess they'll be party members.
"I'm going to introduce you, these guys are the members I'm going to be commissioning a quest with this time."
One man has brown hair, blue eyes and a long sword on his hips, and on top of his shirt he wears a breastplate that would be made of iron.
He's quite fit and a good young man with a smile when he looks at this one.
The impression would be a refreshing sports club system.
One of the two women is a decoy woman with purple short hair and eyes about twenty years old wearing a slightly thick, blue and white costume - is it a coat of law?
The last one has long ears, - an elf.
She has long blonde hair, red eyes, and a face that looks like one.
It would be Archer because he wears a leather breastplate and carries an arrow barrel, with a bow beside him.
"It's Kaios. Nice to meet you."
"Liam, do me a favor"
"It's Emilia."
"…… Cornelia."
After my greeting, the gymnasium, the decoy sister and the elf daughter each introduce themselves.
Judging by its appearance, it would be Warrior, Healer, Archer.
Warrior as a shield, healer as a healer or auxiliary, attracting distant monsters or archer as an aid to firepower at the party.
The party is not unbalanced.
Wouldn't it be a bad idea if I joined you here as a firepower?
I can put up to six people in the party, but there's nothing wrong with four of them.
"We're just finishing our greetings and we're going to talk about the quest. He said he saw a flock of Kobolts southwest in testimony from travelers. Their crusade serves the purpose of this one. Compensation is distributed among participating members. Is that all right?
It would be a reasonable place. I nod that I have accepted.
"Then go as soon as you're ready. It's not far away and you'll get there on a day trip. The party leader is Emilia. Follow her instructions."
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kaios."
Emilia gracefully gives a toast.
Then the window pops up.
'Emilia has asked me to join the party. Do you want to join?
… O.K. of course!
I joined the party in memory of attending it.
