The Legend of the Immortal Cauldron

Chapter 423: Strange Fantasy

"Why are you two here instead of going to fight the beast tide?" The black-robed man called Black Soul asked in a hoarse voice.

"We were teleported here because the teleportation array restriction was not closed." Qing Yunzi explained hurriedly.

He seemed to be very afraid of the Black Soul in front of him.

"The restrictions here have all been modified. You two follow me." Black Soul said lightly and turned around and left.

The two looked at each other and followed quickly.

These two people seemed to trust Black Soul very much.

On the other side, Matthew, holding a wooden stick, had just killed a wild cat monster that rushed out of the bushes.

This was the seventh one he had killed.

This bush seemed to have no end. Matthew walked for a long time and felt that he had been spinning in the same place.

"Master, your appearance has returned to its original appearance." After Matthew cut down a bush, Ding Ling reminded softly.

"It is normal for the mana to be inexplicably imprisoned and to return to its original appearance." Matthew replied lightly.

"I have a secret method that can temporarily restore the master's magic power, but it can only last for more than ten breaths, and it can only be used once." Ding Ling said with a chuckle.

"I am not in danger for the time being. This secret method will be used at a critical moment." Matthew said after thinking for a while.

Ding Ling's words gave him a reassurance.

After standing there for a while, Matthew suddenly moved his feet and ran forward quickly.

He ran several miles away in one breath, and when he looked back, there were still dense bushes behind him.

After thinking for a while, Matthew turned around and got into the bushes next to him.

Since this road can't go to the end, he can only try other directions.

As soon as he entered the bushes, the leaves immediately turned into blades.

The clothes on his body were cut into pieces in a short time.

However, Matthew's body was strong, and the blades cut his body without leaving a trace of scars.

The clothes were torn, and Matthew didn't care about those, and continued to rush forward.

After running for an unknown amount of time, he saw a green stone about one person tall in front of him.

His face lit up, and he immediately ran to the side of the stone, jumped hard with his legs, and landed on the stone.

Standing on the stone, Matthew looked around.

Soon, he saw a very hidden path in the bushes.

After taking a short rest on the stone, he waved the stick in his hand to cut down all the nearby bushes, and then walked towards the path.

When he came to the path, Matthew found that the ground of this road was covered with some gravel, which was completely different from the mud in other places.

Walking slowly along this path, he swung the stick in his hand from time to time to cut off some weeds extending into the path.

He also felt a little strange. After he entered the bushes, the wild cat monsters disappeared, and no one appeared again.

He even didn't hear a single strange sound.

Without the monsters intruding, Matthew was also happy to be idle.

But this path was longer than he expected.

The sky here was gray, and he didn't know how much time had passed.

When Matthew came to the end of the path, he walked out of the bushes smoothly.

He breathed a sigh of relief, but in the blink of an eye, the surrounding environment suddenly changed.

Matthew looked closely and found that the bushes behind him had disappeared, replaced by a desert.

He was now standing in the middle of the desert, surrounded by endless yellow sand.

Matthew knew that he was still in the illusion, and kicked the sand under him.

An egg-sized stone rolled out.

Matthew picked up the stone and shook it in his hand, squeezed it with his hand, and then stuffed it into his arms.

There was yellow sand all around, and Matthew didn't know which direction to go for a while.

So, he walked forward with his eyes closed.

After walking for a while, Matthew's ears moved and he opened his eyes.

I saw a yellow snake about ten feet long coming out of the sand on the left.

This snake was obviously formed by the condensation of yellow sand.

When the yellow snake crawled towards Matthew, Matthew reached into his arms and the stone appeared in his hand.

He aimed at the yellow snake and threw it hard, and the stone shot out as fast as a cannonball.

When the stone hit the yellow snake seven inches away, the snake immediately turned into a handful of yellow sand and fell to the ground.

When the yellow snake was killed, a wisp of extremely thin gas slowly floated out, and in the blink of an eye it drilled into the sand and disappeared.

Although the gas just now was thin, Matthew could see it clearly.

He walked over, picked up the stone and put it back into his arms, and then Matthew continued to walk forward.

He was now wandering around like a headless fly, and occasionally encountered some monsters condensed from yellow sand.

However, the strength of these monsters was very weak, and he easily solved them with stones.

Matthew looked up at the sky, took a deep breath, and began to run wildly forward.

This endless search for a way out made him feel irritated, and he needed to vent it out in time.

Before he ran far, a sand wall suddenly appeared in front of him.

Matthew showed a ruthless look on his face, and he didn't care about the danger behind the sand wall, he just rushed forward with his shoulder.

"Bang!"

After the sand wall was knocked down, Matthew continued to move forward without slowing down.
