The Little Superman of Hogwarts
#237 - Chapter 237 [Triwizard Tournament Organizing Committee]
Klee's summer vacation began with clearing out some of Voldemort's lairs, but obviously, they wouldn't change their original vacation plans because of Voldemort.
Just 15 days after the summer vacation started, when all the students had just officially entered their summer break, Klee had already returned to Hogwarts.
Here, Dumbledore was waiting for him—he had been recommended by Dumbledore to the Triwizard Tournament organizing committee, just like in the original story. The Triwizard Tournament was confirmed much earlier, so now they had already started preparing at Hogwarts.
A spacious common room was temporarily converted into the organizing committee's headquarters. Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute each sent three teachers as members of the organizing committee, and the Ministry of Magic also sent three people.
Because this competition was taking place at Hogwarts, Dumbledore arranged for double the manpower, a total of six people, as well as all the house-elves.
"Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, Mr. Hagrid—and—" The Ministry of Magic employee reading the list felt as if he had encountered something rare: "And, Christian Feynman, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley…"
"The above six are the six administrators sent by Hogwarts!" Dumbledore interjected.
The few people from the Ministry of Magic exchanged whispers, but seeing Dumbledore's resolute attitude, they finally compromised. The staff member reading the list finally said, "Hogwarts is truly very innovative!"
In the books, Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman were the actual managers of the organizing committee, but from the current situation, these two were actually just figurehead leaders holding nominal positions. The ones truly responsible for the organization of the event should be the few junior staff members present.
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic sent a teacher lineup of two women and one man, Durmstrang Institute sent a lineup of two men and one woman, the three people sent by the Ministry of Magic were all men, and the six people sent by Hogwarts were three men and three women.
An entire morning quickly passed. Although these people had been sent over, they were all like headless flies, saying one thing one moment and another the next. Forget about organizing the competition again; Klee suspected that if things continued like this, they wouldn't even be able to organize a class meeting.
Professor McGonagall really wanted to be conscientious and responsible, but she had never organized a super event like the Triwizard Tournament. Professor McGonagall's experience was more limited to on-campus activities, such as Quidditch matches.
Snape was even worse at managing people than Professor McGonagall, even more of a chaotic mess.
When it was nearing noon, Klee finally couldn't bear it anymore. He stood up and stood in front of the blackboard.
"Teachers, students, Ministry of Magic staff, first of all, I want to clarify our work process." Klee walked to the blackboard and took the initiative to explain. The wizarding world was truly terrible, completely lacking experience in organizing large-scale events.
"Does our work need a young punk to command us?" A male teacher from Durmstrang sarcastically said.
"Do you have a better idea?" Snape sharply retorted.
After hearing Snape's words, all the teachers present, as well as the three staff members from the Ministry of Magic, stopped talking.
Klee shrugged triumphantly, then slowly began to explain.
"First, we need to determine how many people will participate in a competition and what the scale of the competition is…" Klee rambled on for another 10 minutes after this sentence, spending about 10 minutes estimating the scale of the Triwizard Tournament.
"In addition to the scale, we also need to determine our competition process, which is the competition events…" And so, Klee stood on the podium and slowly spoke for an hour.
After Klee spoke for a few minutes, no one else expressed any objections. Everyone felt that Klee was speaking very well and explaining exceptionally carefully. The professor who had denied Klee earlier hurriedly began to take notes at this time.
Hermione and Ginny looked at Klee with sparkling eyes. The most attractive moment for a male is when he makes other males lie dormant. And Klee, at this moment, was obviously at the high point of his life!
After speaking on the podium for more than an hour, Klee finally concluded: "I think everyone present, professors and staff, somewhat underestimated me, but I want to reintroduce myself—standing in front of you is the youngest Order of Merlin recipient in history, and the only person in the last century to receive the Order of Merlin twice!"
Hearing these words, everyone present except the Hogwarts professors felt very shocked.
Several people whispered to each other below.
After Klee explained all his concepts, the entire competition process was basically determined. All that was needed was to fill in the details.
But these details required a lot of information to confirm, such as which events the Triwizard Tournament would choose as competition content. In history, the competition events of each Triwizard Tournament were different, but there were also some similarities.
From the next day onwards, everyone was revolving around Klee.
First, a group of people went to find historical materials on the Triwizard Tournament, hoping to find some inspiration from these historical records.
Secondly, another group of people began to prepare the venue and some of the decorations inside the venue. The competition events could be changed, but the tools used could be confirmed in advance.
Finally, there were the people from Hogwarts—Professor McGonagall was responsible for mobilizing all the internal resources of the entire school, Professor Snape was responsible for mobilizing external resources, and Hagrid was a good hand at physical labor.
Only Hermione and Ginny seemed to have nothing to do, but Klee arranged a wonderful job for them—designing clothing for all the service personnel, that is, the volunteers.
In the original story, there was no uniform dress code, but here, Klee wanted to unify the dress code to make the competition seem more high-end.
According to Klee's plan, the clothes were divided into four levels. The first level was the clothes worn by the referees.
In the future, the people serving as referees would either be the principals of the schools or senior officials of the Ministry of Magic, so Klee required these clothes to be dignified and solemn, but also to have some bright and brilliant elements in order to highlight the status of these people.
The second level was for those who served the event, such as the small fry present.
The third level was for the relevant personnel participating in the competition.
The fourth level was for all the house-elves serving this competition.
Witchcraft cannot conjure food, nor can it conjure houses. They can only rely on house-elves to complete the construction of all these details.
And so, Klee's summer vacation was filled with preparations for the Triwizard Tournament.
