The Little Superman of Hogwarts
#271 - Chapter 271 [Six Dragons]
Dumbledore, seeing that everyone had entered, solemnly said, "My six assistants, please open the arena!"
As Dumbledore's voice fell, Hagrid raised his ugly wand and tapped the container.
Immediately afterward, a rumbling noise emanated, and the container opened bit by bit, like a Transformer!
Amazing alchemy!
This was the exclamation of everyone present!
The entire container first opened its door, then unfolded backward bit by bit like a pancake, and then a wall, a house, and so on, rose from within...
A minute later, a huge dueling arena appeared on the easternmost side of the field, perfectly occupying 1/6 of the area.
Before everyone could react, a dragon emerged from the arena's gate!
Obviously, it was an immature dragon, but even so, it was as big as a cow! Taller than a tiger!
This young dragon roared at the sky, then spat out a fireball, clearly uncomfortable being confined in this alchemical creation.
Immediately afterward, Professor Sprout used the same magic, and the second container unfolded in exactly the same way—the two dueling arenas had different shapes but the same area, and in the end, an almost adult Norwegian Ridgeback dragon stood out.
The third one was Professor Moody, who already seemed to be struggling to maintain the container, and the third dragon was obviously more powerful than the previous two; it was clearly an adult.
The fourth one was much easier for Professor Flitwick, but the fourth dragon was stronger than the previous ones, looking taller and with a stronger magical aura.
The fifth one was even more relaxed for the old bat, Snape, but after the fifth arena unfolded, this dragon was so powerful that it was awe-inspiring; in the perception of the crowd, the strength of the fifth dragon even exceeded the sum of the previous four!
However, such a powerful dragon, under the tyranny of Professor Snape, obediently listened and lay prostrate in the arena, not daring to move at all.
And finally—the container behind Cree.
The sixth one opened!
As soon as it opened, a dragon's might that shook the heavens swept across the entire field, and everyone's hair stood on end!
What the hell was this?
If the first five dragons were still common creatures, this sixth fellow, although it looked like a dragon, its magic was like a god!
Even Dumbledore showed a look of amazement; this was a pure-blooded black dragon, covered in wounds, and it was much taller than the fifth dragon; in short, the scars on its skin all showed the battles this black dragon had once encountered!
This was a terrifying dragon!
But now, such a terrifying fellow was trembling and crouching on the ground, not daring to look up at all.
It narrowed its eyes into slits, secretly watching Cree, not daring to make any drastic movements, as if afraid of being targeted by him.
Seeing this scene, Dumbledore also showed a look of astonishment; this seemed a little different from the plan?
As soon as these six dragons appeared, everyone watching the battle understood in their hearts—these six were arranged in order from weakest to strongest.
The weakest fellow was in Hagrid's hands, only comparable to a tiger; you should know that a tiger is just an ordinary beast, and it is different from any magical creature.
And the strongest dragon was obviously the one in Cree's hands; however, the first dragon was the most arrogant, not afraid of the crowd at all, and even spitting fireballs at the sky.
Seeing the reaction of the crowd, Snape muttered quietly, "The more powerful the dragon, the more it can judge the strength of the enemy; only the dragon that has experienced the most battles can realize Cree's power in the first place!"
Snape looked at Cree, shocked in his heart; although he knew that his student was extremely powerful, he was still shocked beyond words when he saw this scene with his own eyes; that was a fierce black dragon, and the number of wizards who died at its hands must have been at least 20 or 30!
It had experienced more than 2000 battles in its life; such a dragon didn't even dare to look up, so you can imagine how powerful Cree really was.
Snape sensed the magic of the black dragon, estimating that it was not much different from his own; this black dragon was probably about to grasp the authority of a god and become a dragon god.
The crowd took more than ten minutes to gradually quiet down; after the crowd was completely quiet, Dumbledore said again:
"First, let me explain the rules of this round; we have prepared a total of six dragons, and I think everyone present has felt that these six dragons are different, from weak to strong!"
"The first dragon is the weakest; perhaps half of the wizards present can defeat it, and the last dragon is the most powerful! I can say frankly that even I myself do not have the confidence to win..."
"We have ranked these six dragons according to their strength—the most powerful is No. 1! The weakest one is No. 6!"
"And the third and most exciting round of our Triwizard Tournament is to allow the six contestants to freely choose the entrance they enter, but there is one premise—contestants can only choose the number that matches their own ranking, or a challenge that is one level lower than their own ranking!"
"For example, the 6th place can only choose one option, which is the No. 6 dragon!"
"And the 5th place has two options; he can choose No. 5 or No. 6 dragon!"
"At the end of the passage are placed inversely proportional small medals; the reward for passing No. 1 dragon is 6 medals, the reward for passing No. 2 is 5 medals, and so on; the reward for passing No. 6 dragon is only one medal."
"You can team up with multiple people, or you can go through a certain level alone, but each person only has one chance! If you cannot pass the level, then the number of medals you get in this third round will be 0.
If two people pass a certain arena together, these two people will divide all the medals of this level equally."
"Six champions, now you have a quarter of an hour to choose a level! Contestants who have not entered the level after a quarter of an hour will be recorded as 0 points."
Dumbledore waved his wand, and a countdown clock appeared in the sky.
Hearing the rules explained by Dumbledore, everyone present exclaimed; this was said to be a martial arts competition, but in fact, it also tested teamwork and strategic arrangement.
"A quarter of an hour?"
"The time is too tight! Why didn't they notify the contestants in advance?"
"What a wonderful game, such a huge suspense has emerged from the very beginning!"
Everyone in the field was talking about it, and the six participants looked at the six doors in front of them, their lips a little pale.
At this moment, Arthur was the first to react; the only venue he could enter was No. 6, and the difficulty of No. 6 was not great, enter!!!
The clock in the sky had just passed 30 seconds when Arthur rushed towards gate No. 6, and then his figure flashed and disappeared.
The contestants could not see the color of the situation, but the surrounding audience began to cheer, because Arthur's figure appeared in the middle of the dueling arena.
The competition officially begins!
