Qin Fuhua was staring at Suyin's disappointed face, causing him to frown at the sight of her expression. When the pair passed by the family with the little boy holding the lantern, he figured that she probably wanted one. As swift and quiet as he could, there was an elderly man who sat down on a wooden chair, with no one interested in his lanterns.


"Too exotic!" A person complained, looking at the lanterns.


"I just want just a regular one. These are too odd!"


The elderly man's expression was sad and depressed, with the crowds ignoring his existence and the cart filled with lanterns. Suyin was too engrossed in looking at the lanterns from the other vendors that she didn't realize Qin Fuhua had disappeared for a second.


"Ahem, sir." Qin Fuhua threw a bag full of money to the elderly man.


"Keep it all. I just want to make that woman happy." He pointed to Suyin, who was occupied watching others with their lanterns. The elderly man smiled, then nodded.


"Thank you very much, young man." The elderly man had a sincere smile to his face, clasping his hands as he thanked Qin Fuhua again.


Qin Fuhua hurried back to Suyin in a flash (which Suyin didn't realize) and the two walked ahead.
