The Magus of Genesis
Episode 22 Memory/REMINISCENCE
"O maiden of the free, of the transparent, of the wind that gleams. Gather in the ring with glow and trap the flame along the triangle."
In a circle, a depicted magic formation of six stars in the form of two overlapping triangles.
When I cast a spell touching its vertices, the squares of those I am touching shine as the wind sweeps around and gathers in it.
"Fire. Shine and fit in the ring and heat along the reverse triangle."
Release your fingers and touch the other triangle to cast another spell. Then the flames nodded in the magic circle, and became the obsession of the great fist, enveloping the earthenware placed over the magic circle.
- Apparently, it worked. Seeing a flame that kept burning steadily, I stroked my chest down.
Experiments have been repeated since then, and I have found out.
One is that the magic used in the circle is not only stable, but the output is determined by the size of the circle regardless of the power of the operator. And stability is proportional to how perfect the circle is.
The circle that Lynn painted by hand meant little magic circles with a gnaw, but if it was painted with a compass, it would have had a similar effect to what I painted. By the way, the most stable thing is the circle I drew freehand.
There are two exceptions to this. If there is not enough magic and if there is too much. The larger the circle, the greater the magic output, but it will never be greater than if you used magic without a magic circle. And the magic circle, which was too big, didn't even contribute to stability. And even if there's too much magic, there's still no point in magic circles.
I guess the point is it's like a cup.
The magic you use without a magic circle is like waving water with your hands. Depending on the shape of the hand, how it is used, and the size of the hand, the amount of water that can be used varies, and the shape of the water is not stable.
But with a cup, anyone can water the same amount and shape.
Sometimes water doesn't stick out on the bottom when this is a giant bucket, not a glass, and if there's too much water, it naturally floods. That's the thing.
And the other is the power of drawing shapes in magical circles and turning them into magic formations.
The circle stabilizes magic, but it turns out that polygons have the effect of retaining magic.
Until now, magic effect time has still not stabilized this either.
As powerful as it is, I can add and subtract a lot of time, but I don't even know exactly when it will expire on the person who used it.
To the magic that I said let the flames out and wind blow, it only lasts for almost a moment if you're not focused.
By using a polygon, it lasted longer without concentrating, and its time became constant with the size of the polygon and the number of corners. The bigger the longer, the shorter the more corners. It was also found that going beyond the octagon would be almost ineffective.
A combination of circles and polygons is like a candle lol, so to speak. The inner polygon keeps the magic stabilized by the circle longer. And its greatest advantage is this six-mounted magic formation right now in front of us.
Combining two triangles, this shape can keep two completely different magics at the same time. This created a magical kiln that encapsulates heat with the magic of the wind and dissolves metal with the magic of the flames.
The magical principle is as I mentioned earlier, but there is sand in the top of the lid placed at its center, and on the bottom of the plucked is a lid with my scales.
It's a mechanism whereby melted hihihirokane drips down through the sand and builds up on the scales.
I decided to call this the Kiln of Lucas, named after the Luca race. I actually tried to call him Luca's Kiln straight, but he was stuck with me like no other.
The great thing about this kiln is that it doesn't have to be me to be able to smell hijiirokane.
Sometimes it is efficient because it stabilizes the heat and traps it in the wind, and even Nina and Phosphorus were able to produce enough heat to dissolve the hiilocane.
Karan, Karan and the bell rang, and I looked up all the time.
In front of you are countless smoke to be shelved and only the same number of kilns of Lucos. There are very few hijirokane you can take one at a time, but if you make as many as you want, you can take enough. In the morning, would you have made about 100 pieces?
One of the things that Lucos's kiln brought about is the unit of time.
When I laid down the weights and measures, I also wanted to determine the unit of time, but it was extremely difficult and I refused. Neither the water clock nor the hourglass can make anything very stable with current technology.
Although the day clock is somewhat informative, it could not be used much because the display changes completely depending on the season. I guess there are ways to correct the change in the height of the sun due to the season, but I didn't have that knowledge, and sometimes strict time management was unnecessary in the primitive era and I didn't study it at all.
Lucos's kiln always has a fire that falls at the same time if the size of the magic formation is enough magic to fit in constantly. That's just one-twelfth of the day. In two hours, it's a lucos.
Well, it's still the same that I don't need to manage that amount of time, but for now, I decided to make a bell and notify Noon as one of the ways to make use of the metal vessel. When agriculture began, daily people's work increased rather than hunting and gathering. Morning and sunset are easy to understand, but people also need lunch and lunch breaks. It was a bell to let you know that.
"Ouch!
Accidentally with the words, a soft feeling was conveyed on my back.
"Don't do this."
"Well, I brought you lunch."
I don't even have to look back and see who that is. The voice, the weight and warmth of her body, and the sweet scent of a fluffy, fragrant flower, have known her well since she was born. It never changed, it kept changing. It belonged to Yuki.
"Well, thank you for that."
Wrapped in a beautiful cloth were vegetarian fried Behemoth meat and steamed hibiscus potatoes, and bread. It even has water apples as a dessert.
Even if I say bread, it's unfermented bread because I haven't found yeast yet. Honestly, I have no idea where or how to find East fungus. But this is surprisingly delicious. The texture is dusty and slightly stiff, but the sweetness gradually develops when it is chewed well. If you eat it with fried meat wrapped around it, it fits really well.
When the fat from the meat is carefully stained and softened, I don't even care about the original hardness. Rather, it seems that its pale flavour accepts the rich meat flavour and brings out the delicacies of each other twice and triple.
Steamed Hiiro potatoes are also not insulted while simply seasoned with salt. Shake the salt on the hawky warm potatoes and crumble on each skin. Isn't there a reason why this tastes bad?
Though behaving somewhat badly, with behemoth sandwiches and steamed potatoes in both hands, the steamed potatoes were cheeked with a bite of cheeks, and the rich fat taste of behemoth sandwiches was just fine. And potatoes again. In this primitive era, it felt like fast-food junk. Excellent.
"It was delicious."
He quickly eats up and reaches out his hand to the water apple of his dessert, exhaling satisfactorily.
"You're gonna be a good daughter-in-law, right?
"Gee ho, goe ho!
I coughed up a misswallowed water apple at Yuki, who laughed and struck me unexpectedly.
"So, as I've said many times, I..."
"Hmm? You didn't say a word about your brother, did you?
I'm already married. Hitting the lead in trying to tell him so, Yuki leaned her neck in a loathsome way.
"Well, yeah. Amata had a baby, too. I think it's time for Yuki to think about it."
Will he succeed the sword ministry from Amaga for about three years? It was last year that I was blessed with good fortune and my eldest son was born. It is about too late in this world.
"Yeah. So come on, get it. Hey, brother."
Too straightforward a word, I coughed up again.
"Earlier, he didn't say anything about me."
"But you didn't even say it wasn't, did you?
Yuki takes my arm and hugs me.
"Sorry, Yuki, but I can't answer your thoughts."
Take that arm off gently...... outside...... looking off, I failed.
Yuki, you're too powerful. To take this off, go crazy and shake it off or go back to being a dragon.
I was in no mood to go that far on the boulder and I gave up removing it.
"I have a loving wife."
"Ai, you're my sister, right? I know. I've heard so many stories from your father and your sister Nina."
his lips pointed, and Yuki says as he persisted.
"If you know, why……………………"
'Cause you're not here.
Simple Yuki's words pierced my chest as sharply as an arrow.
"... now, for sure, you may not be by my side. But she'll definitely come back one day."
"But he's not here now! Because of that, your brother's been missing you for hundreds of years, hasn't he?
Yuki's red eyes reflect my face straight.
It's too dazzling to look directly at.
"Even you, it's the same thing. It won't be a hundred years before he leaves me."
I never meant to say that, but there's a zero voice like that coming out of my mouth.
The look on Yuki's face hurts me.
I truly regretted the words I vomited.
"I am an idiot………………."
"Yay Bar Cover Ca"
That night.
Nina relentlessly peeled at my wound as she sighed and vomited remorse.
"... I won't tell you to comfort me, but would it be nice if you added a little more palm?
"What else can I call a man who's torturing the girl downstairs and making her cry?"
I don't have a word to give back to Nina.
"That kind of descent was done 500 years ago."
"…… So, what do you want me to do?"
"You can do whatever you want."
Like pushing away, Nina's words.
"…… If I could do that, I wouldn't be struggling."
"So what do you like about it?
But to that question, I lost my word.
"Leave what you can't do, and tell me."
"…… I want Yuki to be happier with another person, not me"
That's a very different word from when I was an eye.
I do think you're cute about Yuki, and I love you.
But the love is not for the opposite sex, but for my daughter and grandson. It's like a parent's love for a child.
"That's what I want you to do, not what you want."
But Nina's words were harsh.
"I... want to penetrate my feelings for Eye. I don't want to forget the time I spent with her."
What if... What if I find someone I love just like or more than Eye. The memories of that day will fade away, won't they?
That was horrible.
"…… Bhaka."
Nina played my forehead with her finger.
"You remember D'Argo?
"Of course."
D'Argo is D'Arga's first son. He is also the first person in the second generation sword ministry to find any meaning other than his family name in the last name "sword ministry".
"He was such a jerk and such a coward."
"Oh. You look just like D'Arga, but the contents are completely different. Jirgo was born full of wolves."
Me and Nina get together and leak a sneak laugh.
"When I say Jirgo, when I was five, I really chilled my liver."
"No, you weren't four? You're talking about when you challenged the armored bear into battle, aren't you? Because it must have been the year Liu was born."
"Oh well. Yeah, he was definitely four."
Jirgo is the fourth generation sword ministry, the sword ministry of the first woman. And he is the last direct disciple of D'Arga and the ancestor of single-handed swordsmanship based on Mr. Purple's sword moves.
"He was a really amazing kid... I wondered what I would do when I smashed D'Arga's shaped rock sword into pieces"
"Maybe he looks a little like Yuki"
"Uh, is that right? Either way, isn't Yuki more like Girago?
"It looks like it. But what did you think of personality, Zilgo?"
Me and Nina share memories, nostalgic for the old days. There was a child who would protect the village with pride. Some children were reluctant to take over the name of the sword department and wave their swords. Some children wept at the power that did not extend. But it didn't change that everyone loved this village and stayed by our side.
"I'll never forget you."
Unexpectedly, Nina said that.
"No one forgets what happened. I've decided to keep thinking about it like it's humid."
Spicy...... but kind words.
"So it's time to look forward"
Oh.
Though that was a casual word.
I understand that it must have been the word she always wanted to say.
"Today, shall we drink?"
"…… just a little. You're a bad alcoholic."
When I take out the kettle with the liquor, Nina prepares a glass for me, even as I give her the nail.
A glass made of hihi-irokane froze over her hand, and if I poured an amber liquor in there, I could taste the kins and the cold liquor.
"Well then…… cheers"
"Mm. Cheers."
Chin, and make a creepy metal noise and we pound the cup.
Later that evening, I blossomed into memorabilia.
