The Mysterious CEO

In the middle of the desert forest, the moonlight fell on a lady dressed elegantly. She had a similar face to the person who was the source of all the problems.

Lu Lan appeared alert, while Little Champ shrank into Lu Lan's embrace.

Liu Ruolan smirked as she gazed down at the mother-son duo. Of course, she recognized the lady who was holding Little Champ.

Who knew Si Li would marry a girl like this?

Lu Ruolan's smile widened as she saw both of them in a vulnerable state. Finally, the time had come to reclaim what was rightfully hers.

Soon after, a group of men appeared out of nowhere and surrounded the mother and son, their guns aimed at them.

The light of touches fell on their faces.

Lu Lan secured Little Champ in her embrace as she asked. "What do you want?"

Liu Ruolan bent down in front of her and raised her hand towards Little Champ but Lu Lan moved back. "Don't you dare," Lu Lan said through her bȧrė teeth.

Little Champ sniffed sound came as he was shivering.  He remembered how his mother had turned bad and hurt his dad.

Now she would hurt his mommy.

But Lu Lan looked at her eyes without any fear. She couldn't take down especially when she needed to protect Little Champ. She had already lost her child, now she couldn't afford to lose Little Champ.

"So rude. Don't you know he is my son?" Liu Ruolan showed hurtful expression while continuing to pretend Liu Juan.

Lu Lan sneered. "Don't joke around. Do you think you deserve to call a mother?"

Lu Lan's eyes glared at her disdainfully but Liu Ruolan wasn't affected by it because she wasn't Liu Juan.

"Whether I deserve it or not does not change the fact, I am his biological mother while you…Hmph. Never mind." Liu Ruolan said with a smile but soon her smile disappeared from her face as she stood up and ordered her men. "Take them."

The men immediately came forward and separately Lu Lan and Little Champ.

"No…Don't…Little Champ…"

"Mommy…"

The cries echoed in the forest away from the villa where servants went to Lu Lan's room so that they would take Lu Lan and Little Champ out of the villa safely before the enemy could catch them.

But when they reached her room, it was empty. 

"Bomb!"

Far away at the base station.

On Si Li's orders, Si Li's men quickly deployed their extremely powerful tanks, ready to annihilate the enemy.

"Missiles launching process. Start!" The commander en-changer spoke to his subordinates. "896, Check navigation."

"Check."

"658, Check the fuel."

"Check."

"129, set the terminator."

"Check."

After the series of instructions to the subordinates. The commander-in-chief ordered. "Fire."

One by one, the missiles began to rain down on Mo Jinnan and Michael's men.

Michael had been ecstatic that he was about to win the war. All of sudden, his face turned pale when he saw how his men died in an instant.

He didn't expect that Si Li would be holding these powerful tanks which were available only to the government. 

However, Michal didn't know that there were many times, Government asked for Si Li's help. So it was just right for Si Li to be prepared for anything which included his friend's betray.

"Where is Sun Choi? He told me he will bring his team. Why are they?" Michael asked.

"He said he will attack Si Li's team from behind. Let's continue fighting. He will definitely come." Mo Jinnan said confidently.

"What if he doesn't show up?" Michael asked as he had a hunch that something would go wrong.

"Don't forget, he works for my brother. He won't dare to betray us. Otherwise, there is nothing but death will be waiting for him. Let's just continue firing." Mo Jinnan said.

Although they did not know much about Sun Choi, Mo Jiang had made Sun Choi his right hand so he must be trustworthy.

With this thought, Michael nodded. Since Mo Jinnan was showing confidence in Sun Choi so he also showed confidence at Mo Jinnan but in a few minutes, he found out how much his confidence had cost him.

It was an unexpected attack on Si Li's base and they were sure to win against Si Li. However, who knew Si Li's team would take out their secret weapons and turn the tables?

Since the table had turned. It meant Si Li was back.

However, Si Li was not only back but also someone to whom no one had expected. Not even Si Li.

At that moment, a few helicopters appeared out of nowhere in the sky. No one knew who was inside. The helicopter flew towards Si Li's base and was hovering in the sky before landing on its roof.

Si Li's team immediately rushed to the rooftop because they realized that it wasn't their team whom they called. So it must be someone from the enemy.

The helicopters landed safely on the helipad and Si Li's team stood up on guard as they were ready to fire up once they knew who was inside the helicopter.

The helicopter's rotating blades accelerated the wind. Si Li came up and raised his hand to let his team know. No firing without his orders.

And he was right.

The helicopter door slid open, and the first person out was Xiao Tao, followed by the person who stunned everyone.

Mo Jiang stepped out of the helicopter.

Everyone's pupils dilated.

Mo Jiang?

How was he alive?

It was very difficult to accept this truth. Since he was alive why did he allow his brother and his friend to attack them?

Not that Si Li's team was afraid. In fact, they knew that they would win this war but still, they had lost some of their men to which no victory could compensate.

While Si Li's team was still shocked, Si Li sneered. "Don't you think you are a bit of late?"

"At least my brother is still alive." Mo Jiang replied as he walked towards Si Li.. "Stop this war, Li."
