The Mysterious CEO

Little Champ looked alertly at the two people who jumped of nowhere.

Both of them were wearing back clothes and their faces were covered behind the masks.

One of them rushed towards Lu Lan and checked her pulses while the other one was standing there and staring at the Little Champ.

"What are you doing there? Hurry over. Her pulses are weak. We need to get out of here!" The first person who was checking Lu Lan hissed at his partner.

The other person snapped back and walked towards him.

"You carry child, I carry her." The first person said but Little Champ stood between him and Lu Lan and looked at the people suspiciously.

The first person wanted to push him to his partner but his partner stopped him.

"Little Champ, we are here to save you and your…your m-mommy. We won't hurt you." The second person ȧssured him in a gentle voice.

Then Little Champ realized that this person was a woman and her voicemail seemed familiar.

Where did he hear it?

He was looking at her warily. He couldn't trust anyone.

"Enough." The first person was losing his patience and he immediately pushed Little Champ to his partner.

"He is a child." The woman said.

"Exactly, he is a child. So he doesn't understand your reason. Now hurry. Otherwise, we will be killed along with these two." The first person said and immediately picked Lu Lan up in his arms.

So she snapped fingers near Little Champ's ear and he lost his consciousness.

"Sorry son." The woman said and followed her partner.

"Why the hell was Markus coming back?" Sun Choi angrily asked.

Liu Ruolan sneered, "Why don't you ask him yourself?"

"But we can't stay here. Si Li must be looking for us." Sun Choi said.

"Ohh…so you are scared of him." Liu Ruolan chuckled at him.

"I told you, you shouldn't have called Si Li."Bo Xiao said frustratedly.

Markus was never being trustworthy, still, they trusted him. Now he went back from his words and they stuck here to wait for Si Li or Markus.

"Don't worry, Darling. Don't forget, Sun Choi has said that he will take responsibility if something bad would happen, hasn't he?" Liu Ruolan walked towards Bo Xiao patted his ċhėst to calm him down while looking at Sun Choi with a smile.

It was Sun Choi who informed Si Li that he should take responsibility.

Sun Choi wanted to snap her head seeing her making fun of him. He did not want to be scared but unfortunately, he was.

Especially after, he called Si Li overconfidently and let him know he was the person behind Lu Lan and Little Champ's kidnap.

Liu Ruolan could be ignorantly wanted to stay here based on her trust in Markus but Sun Choi couldn't.

However, could he leave this place?

The things didn't seem bad enough as one of their subordinates came with a grave expression on his face.

"Boss, bad news. Si Li's wife and his son are missing." The man stutteringly reported.

Instantly, the smile vanished from Liu Ruolan's face and Sun Choi's face turned pale.

"What the hell are you speaking?" Sun Choi grabbed his collar and asked in disbelief.

"B-boss…. We were there…I don't know how did they…" The man wanted to defect himself but Sun Choi punched at his face which made him fall.

"Useless." Sun Chou cursed him and strode over the room where Liu Ruolan ran. 

Bo Xiao followed after them.

Indeed, Lu Lan and Little Champ were missing.

The room was fully guarded from outside, still, no one knew where the pair of mother and son went.

"Search all the area around. They haven't gone far away. Hurry up! If you can't find them, you all will die." Liu Ruolan immediately ordered the guards and instantly, they went to find Lu Lan and Little Champ.

Lu Lan and Little Champ were trump cards whom they could use against Si Li and Mo Jiang and now both of them had gone.

Liu Ruolan could not help but shiver thinking the possibility of what would happen if they could not find them?

Markus was on the way back to Country X. If he wouldn't see Lu Lan and Little Champ, he would kill them.

"We can't lose them." Liu Ruolan looked at Sun Choi worriedly.

Until now all things were going as their plan. They had reached to the point of success. So they could not afford to lose at this point of time.

However, their luck had decided to go completely against them that Bo Xiao came up with another bad news.

"Si Li seems to know about this place. We need to leave now." Bo Xiao informed them with a sour expression.

Instantly, Sun Choi's and Liu Ruolan's faces turned white.

Moreover, Liu Ruolan was wrong. The people who came to help Lu Lan and Little Champ had not only gone far but also to a place where no one could find, even not Si Li.

"Doctor, how is Little Champ?" The woman asked. She had snapped near Little Champ's ear but who knew he would not wake up even after hours.

"Don't worry, he just has a fever but he is fine." The doctor ȧssured her.

"What about the woman?" The man asked who brought Lu Lan here.

"Her condition is not very optimistic. She has lost a lot of blood so we need blood to save her." The doctor informed.

"What is her blood group?" The man asked.

"AB+"

"Wow…Then problem solved. Liu Juan will her blood." The man looked at his partner.

Liu Juan's brow frowned "Why should I give her blood?" Liu Juan asked angrily.

"Come on, she is your son's mommy. He will hate you once he knows that his biological mother didn't save his mommy."

Liu Juan clutched her fist on his words. "Xin Chao, don't push your limits. Don't forget I am your life savior.

"And I am yours." Came a quick retort from him.

When Mo Jiang had launched attack at Markus's last villa, Xin Chao knew that Markus had planted a bomb in the villa to not only kill Mo Jiang and his men but also to kill his own men.

Even though Markus's subordinates stood beside him, they were nothing but a burden to him as Mo Jiang's men had killed the majority of Markus's men.

So these few men would not help Markus in any way but since they had been following him since decades they must know some of Markus's secrets which would bite him back if he let his men go.

So it was better to kill them and Xin Chao was included in them. 

Although he was loyal towards Markus, he was expecting the same loyalty from Markus. After all, he was his right-hand man and no one could take his position.

Soon Xin Chao realized he was wrong here once he knew Markus's plan.

Since Markus had planned to kill him so there was no need for him to continue to be loyal to him.

Thus, he decided to get into Liu Juan's team by revealing Markus's location to her. With that, he had placed a bet on his life based on the trust he had on Liu Juan.

Fortunately, Liu Juan saved him from a bomb blast by faking his death. The gunshots were fake which she had used on him. So that he could get the chance to leave the villa.

At that moment, Liu Juan did not trust anyone, not even to Mo Jiang because he brought in Michael in the war.

So the deal between Liu Juan and Xin Chao remained hidden from Mo Jiang.

Liu Juan knew that Markus had planted a bomb in the villa and she had planned to take Markus with her to hell.

Dismally, when she reached upstairs, Markus had already jumped from the window and Mo Jiang understood his intention.

So Mo Jiang took Liu Juan and jumped as well.

Since Markus had planned to sacrifice Xin Chao, he had added one more person in his enemy list.

Xin Chao then went to Country X. He started forming his team, not to kill Markus but to help Mo Jiang and Liu Juan.

Xin Chao was smart enough to understand that he could not kill Markus himself. So he decided to stay in dark and came out at the time of need.

Because he knew that Mo Jiang would kill Markus someday.

Unexpected to anyone, Markus used Liu Ruolan to kill Liu Juan and by the time, he understood Markus's plan, Liu Ruolan had almost killed Liu Juan.

Xin Chao saved Liu Juan when Liu Ruolan threw her in the sea.. Still, it took two years for Liu Juan to wake up from the coma.
