Afterward, Liu Juan had learned all the things that had happened to Mo Jiang and Little Champ.

Regret and guilt had eaten her so badly that she decided to stay hidden and make herself so strong that one day she would kill not only Markus but also Liu Ruolan.

Like Mo Jiang, Liu Juan also believed her intuition that Mo Jiang was alive.

So the thing that left was to kill their enemy. Liu Ruolan wanted to kill her son. 

In her dream!

But now seeing her son was close to another woman, protecting her and even calling her mommy, Liu Juan could not help but feel envy. However, she knew that her family had broken up because of her foolishness.

So she didn't have the right to complain or hate Lu Lan. Even though Liu Juan showed disinterest to give her blood to Lu Lan, she still ended giving her blood to Lu Lan.

Meanwhile, Liu Ruolan and the other were crazily searching for Lu Lan and Little Champ that they were almost caught by Si Li's men.

In the end, they had no choice but to run away back to hide.

Sun Choi had suggested that they should leave for America.

But was it easy to leave country X?

"F*ck." Sun Choi could not help but curse as he could not believe things had turned against him.

He had planned all the things from the last three years and all of his efforts were wasted just because Lu Lan and Little Champ were successfully escaped.

Si Li's men were also reached at his secret place. Now, it seemed that he had to begin again.

However, worst of all, Markus was coming back to Country X with the thought to defeat Si Li.

However, would it be possible especially when Lu Lan and Little Champ went back to Si Li?

Unknown to Sun Choi and others, Si Li even did not know that Lu Lan and Little Champ had escaped. He was in a belief that Sun Choi was still holding them as his men had failed to save them.

And because of that,  the atmosphere in the Si Corporation was extremely tense. 

  Elder Si and Mo Jun were also present there.

Mo Jun had agreed that he had affair with Sun Choi's mother and threw her after using her.

Mo Jun was happy to hear that his elder son was alive and back but he didn't expect that his past put his grandson in a danger.

Not only that, Si Li's wife, Lu Lan was also with Little Champ who was already injured.

All because of his past impulsive mistake. 

Mo Jun's heart shivered at the thought of what would have happened if Mo Jiang didn't come at the time.

"Preposterous." Elder Si snapped at Mo Family as well as at Si Li who failed to protect his granddaughter-in-law and great-grandson.

"Is this how a King of European Underworld protects his family?" Elder Si questioned Si Li sternly.

Si Li was standing near the window with his back facing everyone. His aura had turned murderous hearing the news that his men had failed to catch Sun Choi and others.

It was being very difficult to control himself with every passing second.

"Elder Si, it is our fault." Mo Jiang chimed. He knew that Si Li did not need his protection, but he also knew that he could not get away from his family's mistakes.

"Yes. I could tell that forming an alliance with Mo Family did nothing but make us lose." Elder Si scowled at Mo Jiang disregarding his physical condition.

But Mo Jiang not only failed to protect his family but also bought danger to his family especially to Lu Lan.

The poor girl had already lost her child and with Mo Jiang coming back, she would lose Little Champ as well.

Thinking about her, Elder Si's heart ached.

Moreover, Mo Jun's illegitimate son had kidnapped Lu Lan especially when her condition was not good.

If anything happened to her how would he say to Elder Lu?

Trouble did not end here as Mu Che came in the office where a grave expression.

"P-President…There is bad news." Mu Che's voice was low but enough for everyone to look at him except Si Li who still stood without any movement.

"Markus is coming back to Country X. He-He wants to meet you…" Mu Che stutteringly said.

Of course, everyone was not happy with this news especially when they knew what Markus wanted.

Previously he was wanted to destroy Mo Jiang so he used Liu's sisters while now, he wanted Si Li's place so he was using Lu Lan and Little Champ.

"Hmph…Who does he think of himself? I am giving you twenty-four hours if you don't get Xiao Lan and Little Champ back home. Don't you dare to show your face to me ever again!" Elder Si harrumphed and left.

Staying here made him furious that he wanted to kill everyone.

Whereas on the other side, even though Lu Lan's surgery went successful and she was out of danger.

Liu Juan was sitting near Little Champ who was still unconscious.

She wanted to move Little Champ to a different room but she knew that because of what Liu Ruolan had done to her family, Little Champ was now scared of her face which was similar to Liu Ruolan. So it was better to keep him near to Lu Lan whom he trusted.

After all, she had noticed how he was protecting her even though he was shivering in fear.

"I am sorry baby…Mama has messed up everything…" Liu Juan had ċȧrėssed his chubby cheeks affectionally.

Sadness filled in her eyes as she felt that her son had gone far away from her.

Since the last year, there were many times when Liu Juan wanted to go and meet Little Champ. She wanted to hug and kiss him. 

But she knew that once she would see his face, it would be difficult to resist herself. Like now, she really wanted to hug him and did not want him to go anywhere.

She really wanted to hear out 'Mama' from his tender voice.

But her stupidly made her lose her son.

"Cough…Cough…"

Liu Juan was engrossed in Little Champ and her thoughts that she didn't notice that Lu Lan awakened up until she heard her coughs.

Liu Juan blinked to hold back her tears and looked at Lu Lan.

A few minutes had passed since Lu Lan had wakened but she did not make any sound. She was observing Liu Juan.

Initially, as she opened her eyes, she turned alert on the thought that Liu Juan would hurt Little Champ.

But hearing Liu Juan's words, Lu Lan felt that something was not right.

Why was Liu Juan apologizing?

Liu Juan had destroyed her family, almost killed her husband and child, so why was she upset now?

Why were her eyes welling up?

Lu Lan faintedly remembered that two people jumped into the room and saved her and Little Champ from there.

this Liu Juan seemed to be one of them but why did she kidnap them in the first place?

Many questions were popping up in her mind but she had forgotten about her dry thoart. However, her body couldn't.

That she couldn't help but cough.

Liu Juan looked at her. Although she was jealous of Lu Lan, she did not hate her.

Perhaps, she had given a motherly love to her son when she wasn't there with him.

"W-water." Lu Lan said in low voice.

Liu Juan nodded and filled a glass and helped Lu Lan to drink.

"More?" Liu Juan inquired as Lu Lan gulped down the entire glass of water.

Lu Lan shook her head and lied down back in puffingly. Her injured made her weak as even drinking water took a lot of effects.

"L-Little Champ?" Lu Lan asked as she looked at him.

"He has a fever but he is alright now." Liu Juan said as she sat beside Little Champ.

Lu Lan nodded and asked. "W-Who are you?"

She could feel that the person sitting in front of Little Champ was his real mother and who was genuinely concerned about him but then why did she try to kill her husband and son?

"Liu Juan." Liu Juan replied while her glance was still on Little Champ as she had a fear that if she looked away, her son would vanish.

Lu Lan's brow frown as she couldn't help but guard up until her heard Liu Juan's further saying.

"It wasn't me."
