The Mysterious CEO

Si Li who was in a ripper state of mind that he was killing mercilessly to Markus's men and whosoever seemed to be suspicious. But he immediately rushed back to Si Corporation when he heard there was news about Lu Lan.

Like Sun Chai, Xin Chao also sent a video of Lu Lan and Little Champ. This time, both of them were in good condition.

Afterward, Xin Chao's face came.

"You…" Mo Jiang was shocked to see him.

"Don't look so surprised Mr. Mo. After all, it was your wife who saved me back then." Xin Chao never left his habit to make people curious and then left them hanging.

"Where is Liu Juan?" Mo Jiang asked immediately. He knew that she was alive.

"Shouldn't you ask about Mrs. Si and your son who are currently under my safe territory?" Xin Chao ignored Mo Jiang's question and said which made Si Li push Mo Jiang aside.

"Where are Lu Lan and Little Champ?"

"Safe and sound until…" Xin Chao trailed off his words.

"until…"

"You agree to fulfill my condition." Xin Chao said.

"What conditions?"

"I need Bo Xiao, Liu Ruolan, and Sun Choi and your men. All of them. Your and my enemy are the same. We both want Markus to kill. So give me your men. Once I kill Markus, you get your men back while I get his position." Xin Chao revealed his plan.

"Don't even think about it. I will be one who will take his position." Michael said in between. All these years, he had been struggling to save his life and form his team that one day he would fight and take the position of Markus.

However, one more person had come to take Markus's position and the fun part was, he was asking Si Li's help.

As if all his struggles were absurdity.

"You?" Xin Chao chuckled. "Sure you can join this war but let me ask you, how many men do you have now, huh?" He was reminding Michael about his stupidity in helping Mo Jinnan to be against Si Li.

"We have a deal. I helped your brother because of you. You can't get away from your words and help someone else." Michael said to Mo Jiang.

"I am not asking Mo Jiang's men, I want Si Li's men. After all, he was the one who is ruling the European underworld. So what's your decision? Do you want your wife and son or not?" Xin Chao asked Si Li.

"Give him." Mo Jiang said suddenly.

Si Li had been silent all the time and after a minute, he nodded. "But I want my wife and son first."

"Sure. I am a man of my words." Xin Chao said happily. "Wait for my call."

With that, the computer's screen had been turned black.

"You are the same like your b*tch wife." Michael snapped and turned back to leave but Si Li's men blocked his path.

"I never let the person leave especially the one who had a great amount of disagreement towards my decision. Who knows when you will become my enemy. Take him." Si Li turned and said and with that Michael was taken away from Si Li's men.

"I want to go with your men." Mo Jiang said to Si Li.

"You are not my men." Si Li rejected his idea.

"But…"

"I will be one who gives orders here. Once Lu Lan and Little Champ will be back, do whatever you want but before that….Don't even think about it." Si Li said and turned to say to Mu Che. "Make everyone ready and make sure those three won't die.

Mo Jiang wanted to show his smartness to leave with Si Li's men. After all, who would notice him in the ocean of men? But it seemed that everyone was cautious against him.

Whereas on the other side, Xin Chao relied his message to Liu Juan and then Lu Lan.

"Where is Liu Juan?" Lu Lan asked.

Although Lu Lan was telling the truth to Little Champ, he seemed to be so scared to understand anything.

His whɨnė consumed a lot of energy that he slept in Lu Lan's arms.

"If you want anything, tell me. I will get it for you." Xin Chao said. He didn't bother with her previously as who knew whether she really held value in Si Li's life or not. However, now that Si Li agreed with his conditions so easily, he could understand that Lu Lan held value in Si Li's life more than he thought. 

Moreover, he had decided that he would not let Liu Juan to come in front of Little Champ. Who knew what crazy idea came to her mind after seeing Little Champ. And to give him relief it was good that Liu Juan voluntarily said that she didn't want to meet Little Champ.

But…

"I want to meet her." Lu Lan firmly said. Her glance was showing she would not take 'no' to the answer.

"Fine but this boy stays here." Xin Chao said pointing towards Little Champ. Everything was going as per his plan, he didn't want things to go adverse conditions like the things happened with Liu Ruolan and others.

Xin Chao could have rejected Lu Lan's demand but since she held great value in Si Li's life. He agreed to her condition as long as Liu Juan and Little Champ would not meet.

"Alright." Lu Lan agreed.

Later, the woman came to help Lu Lan to sit on the wheelchair and took her to meet Liu Juan to the top roof.

Liu Juan was standing on the edger, looking to the subordinates who were filling weapons in the trucks. The brisk wind passed through her making her hair ruffle.

After a few hours, everyone would leave this place. This could be the last war of Liu Juan and after that…

Fog escaped from her lips as she sighed. Previously, she always wished that her life would end after the war. Unfortunately, she came back with a victory along with her lifeless body.

However, this time she really wished to come back alive so that she could go back to the blissful life which she once had.

However, what would happen?

No one knew.

"You can leave me here." Lu Lan said to the woman who had brought her here.

"I will be outside, just call me."The woman said and left.

Liu Juan turned to look her

"It seemed that you have planned to leave your family again?" Lu Lan said and she wheeled towards Liu Juan.

"I thought you don't want me to take Little Champ back, do you?" Liu Juan asked.

Lu Lan looked at the distant sky who was twinkling in the sheet of stars "As a mother, I didn't want to but now I do. No matter what happened, you are his real mother." She said.

"I heard about your child. I am sorry for it." Liu Juan turned back to look at the sky as well.

Lu Lan chuckling depressingly. "I failed to protect it."

"So did I."

"But you are getting a chance to be with your son again. Don't lose it." Lu Lan said as she looked up Liu Juan.

A sad smile appeared on her lips. "Now is not the time."

"I disagree. There is never a perfect time. The day after tomorrow is Little Champ's birthday. He never likes his birthday, you know why. I have planned to hold his birthday at Juan's Villa. Come back and changes things. After all, he is your son who means to be more important anyone." Lu Lan said her piece and used her hands to wheel back.

Go back?

Could she really go back?

Lu Lan's words were echoing in Liu Juan. Since she had woken up, every day she wanted to go back to her son but she knew she would bring back nothing but danger to him.

So how could she go back now?

As per the deal, Xin Chao gave back Lu Lan and Little Champ to Si Li and Si Li sent all his men including Liu Ruolan, Bo Xiao, and Sun Choi.

Si Li personally went to get them. Because of the loss of blood, Lu Lan's face had turned pale. Si Li's eyes turned frosty cold. He really wanted to kill everyone who had tried to hurt her. However, now nothing is more important than Lu Lan and her well-being.

He immediately held her in his arms. While when she saw him, she finally let her guards down. Her eyes turned red as when Liu Ruolan had taken them, she really thought that she wouldn't be able to see Si Li ever again.

"Everything is okay. I am here." Si Li comforted her as he pulled her closed to his ċhėst as if he wanted to merge her into his body.

Lu Lan didn't say just wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his ċhėst..

"Take Little Champ.." Si Li ordered Mu Che and they soon left out.
