Si Li brought them back to Old Mansion where Si and Mo Family were waiting for them.

Doctors were already present there. They did a quick check of Lu Lan and Little Champ's health.

Lu Lan was out of danger. Although her wounds had been opened, she had been treated properly so now there was nothing to worry about it. She just needed to take proper rest.

While Little Champ was still having a fever, so the doctor had been trying to bring down his body temperature.

Now that Lu Lan and Little Champ were safe. Mo Jiang couldn't stay silent.

"I want to meet Lu Lan." Mo Jiang said to Si Li.

Si Li knew Mo Jiang's patience had been turning thin. Since Lu Lan was now safe, there was no need for him to stop Mo Jiang.

Si Li nodded and allowed him.

Mo Jiang walked into Si Li's room.

It was the first time for Lu Lan to see Mo Jiang and she could see how Little Champ and Mo Jiang looked so similar except Little Champ's eyes which were similar to Liu Juan's.

"Is she alive?" Mo Jiang asked straightforwardly without beating around the bush.

"Yes." Lu Lan nodded and replied.

All of sudden, the sorrow cloud removed from his heart which he had been holding since he heard from Liu Ruolan's mouth that she had killed Liu Juan.

He knew that she couldn't leave him.

"Where is she now? Is she going after Markus? Do you know?" Mo Jiang rapidly asked questions.

Lu Lan shook her head and replied. "I don't know what she has planned but we talked. Perhaps, she will come tomorrow." She looked at Si Li and said. "I told her that we will celebrate Little Champ's birthday at Juan's house. Can you arrange things?"

Mo Jiang and Si Li were looking at Lu Lan bewildering.

"Did she…" Si Li wanted to ask but Lu Lan already replied. "Yes, she told me everything."

" After Liu Ruolan threw her body in the sea, the man named Xin Chao saved her because she saved him back then. She was in a coma for two years and after that, she has been keeping eye on us. She knew that Liu Ruolan would attack at us." Lu Lan said everything that she knew from Liu Juan.

"Do you think she would come?" Si Li looked at Mo Jiang and asked.

Mo Jiang looked in deep thought as it was seemed to be the first time, he didn't know what was running in Liu Juan's mind.

If she wanted she could have come before but she didn't?

So would she really come tomorrow?

"Did she say anything else?" Mo Jiang asked.

"No." Lu Lan replied.

"Then let's wait for Little Champ's birthday. She might come. If she won't come. That means she has gone after Markus." Mo Jiang said.

"He is not easy to kill." Si Li said. Although Si Li had given his men to Xiao Chao, he knew that Markus wasn't an easy opponent.

"Still, I won't leave him this time." Mo Jiang said firmly.

He had already made a mistake by letting Markus go. Now he wouldn't make the same mistake.

At that time, a knock was heard from the door.

Mu Che entered the room.

"President, Little Master has woken up." Mu Che informed.

"I want to go." Lu Lan said immediately to Si Li.

Si Li nodded, "Let me take you there."

Si Li helped her in the wheelchair and they left to look for Little Champ while Mo Jiang stood there.

He also wanted to go but he didn't know how to face his son.

After a while, he mustered up his courage and walked to Little Champ's room where he saw his son in Si Li and Lu Lan's arms.

He clenched his fists as he stopped near the door without stepping inside. 

It had been three years since he didn't see Little Champ. His son had grown up. Little Champ looked more like Mo Jiang.

But why did Mo Jiang feel that he had lost his son?

Mo Jiang couldn't describe what he was feeling when he heard Little Champ calling Si Li, 'Father'.

Although he decided to send Little Champ to Si Family instead of Mo Family, he was feeling uncomfortable, seeing his son calling another couple, Father and Mother while he was his father and Liu Juan was his mother.

Mo Jiang turned around and left with a bitter feeling while Si Li's eyes noticed every emotion of Mo Jiang.

Afterward, it was announced that Little Champ's surprise birthday party would be celebrated at Juan's Villa.

Lu Lan had already made this decision so most of the preparation had been done.

"Your brother surely has guts. Previously, Xian Lan got a shot and now she and Little Champ are kidnapped. Just because we, Wangs, don't have money like your family, your family could think we are easy to bully. Let me tell you, I won't allow this." Wang Yan pushed Si Yan and walked towards her car.

They were on the set of 'The Fighter.', it was almost the wee hours of the morning and today was the last day of the shooting so everyone was in the celebration mood except Si Yan.

The reason was obvious.

Wang Yan had noticed his unusual behavior and asked him. He brushed her off with an excuse as he was afraid that Wang Yan would create sense once she would know that Lu Lan and Little Champ were kidnapped because of Si Li's involvement in the underworld. 

Unfortunately, Si Yan couldn't hide the truth from Wang Yan and as he expected, she blew off.

"Yan, listen to me…Brother will find them." Si Yan chased after her.

"Find them? He shouldn't have them left alone. If he wanted to leave why did he take them back?" Wang Yan walked briskly as she couldn't wait to chop Si Li into millions of pieces.

She was against the idea of Si Li taking Lu Lan and Little Champ back to Diamond Hills but she shut her mouth because of her father and Si Yan.

However, it seemed to be she was right. Absolutely right!

She shouldn't have agreed with Wang Yan and Si Yan.

Si Li was already angry and so was Wang Yan.

Si Yan needed to stop her otherwise another war would start. At that moment, Si Yan's phone rang.

"Mom?" Si Yan asked in desparate tone.
