As soon as Chen Xiao finished his technique and stole the power from the formations that attacked him, the attacking formations were instantly destroyed as if they had suffered a type of backlash from daring to attacking something they should not have.

The sealing formations shook and the shield trembled slightly.

Seeing the result of his most powerful technique Chen Xiao sneered in contempt for some reason, even though he had seemingly no reason to do so.

It was at this time that Liang Chen was sent flying back and crashed into the ground.

As his body crashed nto the ground a booming sound exploded in the area, but no crater was formed, his bodu simply rebounded a few times before it stopped and blood began to fill the area.

Before, such injuries would be instantly healed by the formations in the area around them, apparently the elders of the sect had extended them by some methods and spread them a further, especially towards where Liang Meng and Liang Chen were, as if they were sure that they would definitely cause trouble.

Even if they extended the formations, that did not mean that they would not be able to control them, and seeing an opportunity to bully someone, they decided to not let such an amazing opportunity to pass by, especially so if it involved the master of the lad that had bullied their disciples previously. Such an offence had to be payed back no matter what. After all as long as he didn't die, then the Dragon Race Lord Ao Li would bot be able to say anything.

Liang Chen tried to get up, but he could not do so no matter how hard he tried to.

He made an enormous amount of effort and extended his right hand and the his spear flew through the air towards him.

He then tried to get up with his spear's help.

When he finally did so after what seemed a painful and torturous action, his legs began to falter.

Liang Chen knew clear than anybody the condition of his body, but he still did not care at all. He would see this battle to the end no matter what.

When his legs gave signs of faltering, he immediately gritted his teeth, and without any hesitation whatsoever, he slammed both of his hands onto both of his legs.

*SMACK* *CRASH*

Two resounding sounds silently echoed about. One of them, everyone present knew what it was. It was someone smacking something, but the second one, made everyone's head all over their bodies to stand on end.

It was clearly the sound of sonething breaking, and such a sound wasn't really either appropriate or correct to describe such a thing as a bone breaking, but instead against all odds, here it was echoing around loud and clear.

One could only imagine the pain he was going through at the moment.

No one could understand why he was going to such an extent just to fight a battle he was going to lose anyway, but that did not diminish the respect that grew up inside of all those that were watching, either via formations or in person.

With immense struggle Liang Chen gathered his Ki onto his legs and his arms, as well as his spine, and he was finally able to stand straight. Then he pointed his spear towards Ao Shuang that was flying in midair and was looking at him wirh his red eyes filled with anger and with a sneer on his lips.

The moment Liang Chen performed that action, Ao Shuang suddenly disappeared and appeared above Liang Chen.

He then pointed his spear towards Liang Chen's head and attacked.

At the same time, something strange happened.

Without any sort of warning nor knowledge, a gaping hole appeared on Ao Shuang's chest, along with it multiple holes began to follow.

Ao Shuang immediately performes all techniques he could think of as well as creating coutless formations to try and protect himself from further harm, as he retreated.

Such a sight made all those watching to have fear on their hearts by such a strange sight.
