He took a piece of iron threw it in the forge and heated it up as it was red hot he took it to the anvil and started hammering after some time he got a pretty good form so he took his workpiece and threw it into cold water to quench it. John took some leather strips and made a primitive binding on the handle.

He looked at his work and was quite pleased his did have some cracks and it is kind of ugly but it should work.
