Everyone who listened with the flow of the conversation was dumbfounded.

The two village heads were reminded how, back then when they made a proposal to Qai, it turned out just the way what happened with the emperor and Qai.

It always ended up in a win-win deal but in the end, it always looked like Qai was getting the better end of it.

"Thank you, Master Han.. I assure you, I'll always visit you here in the sect," Qai replied.

Before they were sent off, Qai was gifted 3 supreme grade pills by his new-found Emperor friend.

The pills reminded Qai of the first time he got hold of such high tiered pills from an elder when he first found Shandian which paved the way with his current level of cultivation.

Obviously such pills were of little value to the Sect Headmaster, but for Qai, they were definitely a fortune.

And without anything more to do in the Purple Mist Sect, Qai and his group went on their home to start preparing for the coming event.

Back in the Shu family's territory, or what is now officially known as 'The Hunters' Plateau,' more and more cultivators of heaven stage expert realm were coming.

At that point, the inn was full of guests since the expansion of the building was yet to start.

Qai's mother, Shu Ling, with the help of Yu Yue and Shen took charge of the inn. The two new additions were of great help especially since Shu Liang was busy training inside the Darkwood Forest.

It wasn't really difficult to deal with the guests since most of them spent most of their time also in the forest.

Apart from the inn, the little pill shop, manned by Old Yu and which was built just beside the inn, was productively earning a lot by selling intermediate level Qi Gathering Pills and some other medicinal pills made by the duo of Qinlun and Bing.

With the prior suggestion of Qai, the pill shop accepted skill scrolls as payment. That way, the Shu family's Library could gain as well.

Old Yu was actually doing a superb job keeping the pill shop active. Some weapons created by Su Yu and various herbs harvested from Xiao Ning's garden were also sold in the shop.

Unlike the herbs, the weapons were yet to be of high quality but, for a cheap trade, they were disposed of easily.

A week later, Shu Wei, Shu Wu, Qai and Shandian arrived from their trip to the Purple Mist Sect. They brought both good news and great harvest from their hunt along the way.

With their arrival and approval from the sect, they can officially start their preparations for the coming Wasteland affair.

To start off, Shu Wei recounted his family how the Sect Headmaster suggested to name their territory as 'The Hunters' Plateau.'

Everybody liked the idea. Jing instantly assumed the task of putting up the arch signage on the entrance. He even recommended to use Darkwood planks to make it even more appropriate to the place.

The next step was to construct another inn to make room for more guests and to reconstruct a bigger shop that can better display all the family's merchandise.

Another thing that needed attention was to add some more individual rooms along the inner disciples area since they planned to accomodate a number of elders that would come from the Sect, clans and families.

Qai and Shu Liang who would spend the next months training in the forest were given the special task of hunting more demonic beasts and collect their cores, hides and specially meat to be served as food for the guests.

That way their supply would be enough to sustain the number of cultivators.

In the next days, people from Gale and Moon Villages started to arrive in droves. They were to clear the area below the plateau to construct temporary huts. These huts will be additional place where cultivators can stay.

The event was expecting more or less a thousand cultivators--both participants and expectators.

A number of merchants from both villages also arrived and put up tents around the center of the plateau--it was the place designated as the trading area.

People from the Mo Clan arrived as well. They started to set up their own shop in the trading area--the goods they brought looked more precious than the those that came from the merchants.

As the days went by, little by little 'The Hunters' Plateau' became busier than ever as cultivators from all over the region started to flock the area.

The two village heads and local merchants were very pleased with the outcome of their preparations.

There were at least one and half months more or so before the real event would start to kick off but they were already earning a lot.

In fact, they already earned a year's worth of income. In this backwater zone of the region, cultivators hardly visited for trade. But with the momentous event set up by the Purple Mist Sect, they experienced a bigtime opportunity to earn.
