The Other Side of A Cultivation Story

The Soaring Sky palace looked nothing sort of a sect--it was so simple that one would think that the building did not belong to a prestigious sect.

It was huge but it's design was simple. There were plenty of divisions but each room looked empty.

When the Shu siblings went in, Qai noticed that the palace had hardly anything.

'Those sect disciples left nothing for us.. they literally took everything,' Qai pondered.

"There must be some hidden doors or something around here," Shu Liang suddenly remarked.

Shu Liang must have also realized how clear the building was.

Qai nodded and hoped that the Purple Mist Sect had not discovered every corner of the palace yet.

When they were roaming around, they heard some creaks near their location. So they moved quickly to find the source of the sounds.

Not long after, in one of the alleys, the three found an opening on the floor. And when they looked into it, there was a staircase headed to a sort of dungeon.

The Shu siblings looked at each other and mutually agreed to go down through the stairs.

The Black Shadow together with Mo Clan, not long after also found the stairway. So they didn't think twice to go down through it after they felt that nothing could be found in the rooms.

"The Purple Mist Sect must be down there," Hao Ren said.

"It seems that would be the case," Mo Shui replied. "There's no sign of any cultivator in the building."

"Then we must hurry," Teng Hu exclaimed. "Those sect bastards cannot hoard everything."

Meanwhile, in one of the ends of the dungeon, the Purple Mist Sect gathered around a huge cauldron.

It measured around 6 feet tall and did not look like something used for concocting--it must have special use to be placed in such a location.

The sect disciples tried to grab it by force but it appeared to be permanently fixed on the ground.

They had been in argument of what to do of the cauldron when all of a sudden its lid opened by a little and something flew fast from it.

'Ploooooof.'

Everyone looked at the direction of the thing that came out of the cauldron. It landed and got stuck on the ceiling.

And when the dust finally settled down, a broad sword appeared right before their very eyes. And from the looks of it, the sword seemed to be not an ordinary one.

The sect disciples didn't know what to do if they would fight the sword among themselves until Duan Mu spoke.

"Just take the sword and give it to the sect," he said.

He wasn't done speaking when another thing flew out from the cauldron.

'Plooooof.'

This time it landed straight to a sect disciple who caught it with his hands perfectly. And when he opened his hand, a weird looking pill appeared. Nobody knew what kind of pill it was, so the sect decided to keep it again only for safekeeping.

"It seems that this cauldron is throwing treasures every minute," Duan Mu said.

"We must have triggered something earlier when we tried to grab it in order for that thing to spit treasures just like that," one disciple explained.

They all agreed to stay for long hoping that more treasures would come out.

But not too far away, Qai and his companions were watching as the miracle unfloded.

'We must get a hand on some of its treasures,' Qai thought.

But even if Qai tried to pull something reckless, he thought that with the numerous sect disciples around, there's no way they could come out unscathed. He knew too well that the sect disciples wouldn't want to share anything that came out of that huge cauldron.

"Ho ho, what do we have here" Teng Hu and his group out of nowhere appeared behind the Purple Mist Sect disciples.

"Scram, you pieces of trash!" one of the sect disciples yelled together with a fireball attack.

Hao Ren was quick to raise a metal wall and blocked the attack with ease to the surprise of ths sect disciples.

"We're not here to cause trouble," Mo Shui said. "The Purple Mist Sect extended the invitation to us in this event.. so we deserve to a have a share in every harvest around here as much as you do."
