The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 106 - Photo Bomb

"You won't want a confrontation with me, right John?"

Anne was still watching from the magic sphere when a knight with blond hair and a beautiful smile appeared behind her.

"I wish there were different circumstances, my Princess."

He smiled with a gentle but calm expression. However, the next moment he took out his sword and pointed in towards Anne.

However, before he could even make a move forward, the four beautiful boys stepped in front of Anne with their swords already prepared. Their looks were not the same as before. No more gentle and flirtatious gazes, no more caring and easy-going manners, no more dancing and singing and no more… no more…

They were now transformed into four knights of the Black Troop, the best elite group that their Captain Callum had trained. They were called to help Anne and protect her in the shadows at every moment.

However, they were never to show their real face to the world.

"Who are you?"

They didn't answer but moved forward surrounding the handsome boy.

"Is this how you are going to play, Princess?" John looked around and laughed, "you know that these frail boys won't stop me… hey, are you listening, Princess?!"

Anne was not listening from the moment her group of FBB (Four Beautiful Boys) stepped forward. Her focus was in the sphere before her and the team of the other members of the black troop doing her job against the monstrous energy of Billie and the sly attacks of Moira.

"Why didn't I was born with magic?"

"Woof!"

Gandalf responded with a shaking head, 'You would transform everything in chocolate.'

"Then… why didn't I was born with tremendous strength to fight?"

"Woof!"

Gandalf again shook his head and, 'You would have left every single knight beaten in every martial competition and then transform yourself in the next Alexander the Great of this world, or maybe Aragorn…"

"…"

John was looking with incredulous eyes at the easy-going princess that didn't have a bit of care for her safety. These boys didn't look anywhere near his strength but they dared to confront him.

If it were Henry, then he would have been cautious but with these boys.

"I am sorry, little beauties," John smiled, "I don't want to hurt you but I need to stop Her Majesty for a while, so I request for your cooperation."

They didn't respond but they didn't move from their position.

"Well then… I will have to make you move."

He moved faster to the first boy in front of him and launched an attack. A powerful wind summoned with his sword and then a whirlwind. He was hoping for the air to reach the Princess, or at least the glass sphere in her table, but…

"Why can't I have some special ability like the others?!" Anne was now pouting in the table while moving her legs like a spoiled little girl.

'You are already special in my eyes,' Gandalf licked her hand to comfort her. 'The most special.'

"You are trying to make me feel good when you also have a special ability… this is not fair."

'Sigh… natural charm is the best ability of them all,' Gandalf winged his tail and licked the hand of the Princess again.

Their little conversation did not go unnoticed from the knights battling in front of her, in the same room, just a few steps from her.

John could only laugh at the silliness of everything, but more, at his foolishness. For a moment he believed that those knights were only simple warriors, with only certain ability in the sword. However, just with the little conversation of the Princess, he understood.

She did not have any magical ability, but she was special, more like outstanding in plotting her forces with care. After all, she deceived every single participant of the contest and stole the treasure before anyone.

Even more, she was cunning enough to challenge everyone to steal it from her this night. They had received the first mission, yes, they had, to find the treasure. However, there were no descriptions of the treasure, nor maps, nor any hume signal of where to go.

They all fretted for days to understand what was the damn thing to find. Then just after a long wait in desperation, another notice reached their hands in the shape of a paper.

[Steal the treasure from the most outstanding Princess of Lith.]

They didn't know what to think but that… the silly princess had cheated the judges and had already found the treasure before any of the demons in the competition could even start hiding it. Or more like…, she created the treasure.

Now it was time to steal it before the sunrise.

"You are not ordinary guys," John backed away as he was thrown a ball of fire to his ċhėst. "You are magicians…"

They didn't answer but created many fireballs to send him back.

"This is not fair!"

The one shouting was Anne, she was watching her MINI device showing the competition between Moira and Rose at sending selfies with their partners. Even Tia was already posting a picture in the forum, while she was stuck in between a fight for a silly mission.

"Gandalf…" Anne looked at her cute dog with watery eyes, "will you be my valentine tonight?"

'It would be my honor, my sweet princess,' the white fluffy dog looked at her and licked her palm.

"Then… come here," Anne took her first selfie with Gandalf's head resting on her arm, but a photo bomb also appeared behind her with the FBB and John making heart poses behind with their arms and fingers.

Then another, and this time Gandalf was ŀɨċkɨnġ her cheek and the young men behind were jumping around as if they were dancing. Even John was dragged in their pose.

Then as Anne thanked all of them, they returned to their fights.

[Beth….

"Why are you here?"

The voice of a young teenager with black hair and emerald shiny eyes echoed in the classroom. The Imperio High School was an elitist school only affordable by the high class of the population.

However, they were not considered a school that accepted bribes from behind to let their students go easy with their studies. They were financially supported by the Hesse Family after all, and the major shareholder was Grandpa Hesse.

"Why wouldn't I be here?"

"You don't belong here," the young boy with his tall stature and cold eyes said to the little red-haired girl.

She was looking especially stunning that day with her blue uniform and her soft hair dancing in the wind. The other students immediately noticed her when she stepped inside the school gates, and many had fallen for her charming appearance almost instantly.

Her grandpa insisted on her attending that school at least for her last year of high school, and she promised him to do so. However, she never expected to see again that boy, or maybe… that boy was the reason she didn't want to step a foot inside the school of rich arrogant youngsters.

"You don't get to decide that," she didn't care to give him any respect, "whoever you are."

Henry smirked and left out a small laugh, "now you are pretending not to know me?"

"Why? Should I know you? Are you that famous?"

Beth covered her mouth with a pose of false surprise.

"You should not forget that we shared the same house for so many years," he said making the surrounding teens gasp in surprise. "After all, you were a mere servant that I rescued from the streets."

The shocked voices grew stronger, but then some mockeries and laughs mixed up with the noise.

However, Beth didn't back down, she lookes at the smirk of the fastidious boy and laughed.

"You are right, your benevolence gave me a family," she smiled with a beautiful face, that was the weapon she could make use to have anyone submit to her, "however, I had already paid up your act of pity."

"What do you mean?" Henry tried to cover that he had some red appear in his ears when he saw her smiling so beautifully, she would never do that before, and that frustrated him.

"My family… my real family had already found me," she smiled again and extended her hand to greet the boy, "my name is Beth Hesse, young master."]
