The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 122 - The day she was called fat.

Henry was desperate.

That day, he didn't know she will come earlier to the house, so he let the people from his school come to the Mansion. The old man had forced him to do it, and he didn't have another choice but to comply.

However, he didn't know that she will come. She was wearing her cute school uniform and her hair was arranged in a ponytail with a big golden knot. Then she came out just to let the other kids will see her.

He had already been desperate and anxious enough when she was going to the other school. Many other eyes surrounded her every day, and he was growing anxious.

If it were not because of his grandpa, he would make her stay in the house and learn from there. Somewhere where he could see her and only he, but the old man, had to interfere.

He didn't even let her enter the same school as he. If he made her be the adoptive daughter of Aunty Smith, then she will live with the same social class people. Henry at that wanted to explode.

"Dammit!"

He said when she saw her running from him. The other kids were laughing, and the girl holding his hand chuckled and mocked her.

"She is lowly," she said, "my mom says to never mingle with those kinds of people or we could get infected."

Then she turned her head towards Henry and smiled. She thought that he would praise her for being a well-behaved girl, but then she saw the eyes of Henry. They were cold and dangerous. His face was filled with anger.

"Get out," he said with a voice that could freeze any heart.

"Henry?"

"I said get out from my house," he turned to look at the rest of the kids, they were already seven years old, and some others were eight. Some of them were pressured to come to the gathering as their parents were partners with the Mills company.

Jano came from the door and sighed. He didn't know that he will make such a decision only after fifteen minutes.

He took the kids to many cars and sent them out to their houses. Of course, Henry didn't mind sending a message to the parents of those kids that mocked Beth. To educate their kids to not speak unrespectful words from now on.

The little girl, Norah, was a different case, though. She was forbidden to enter the house from then on.

"Beth, are you leaving already?"

Four years passed from that day, and Beth and Henry had grown into outstanding young teens of eleven years old.

However, their relationship had become so distant that now they didn't seem to notice each other. Beth helped in the kitchen after classes, then went to the gardens to help her father to trim the flowers, and arrange them the best she could.

Her days were spent like that, without looking for Henry and forgetting him little by little. She had seen many kids enter the house, and she had seen how he seemed to become close to that girl from before. So she stopped her heart from hurting by getting out of his sight.

Henry, on the other side, couldn't help but feel remorse. He didn't know what to do to make her see him again, and he knew that he was being pushy and incoherent, and he didn't like it.

Her face was sad when she looked at him. She won't show her happy smile, nor her glinting eyes anymore. He was desperate.

Once, he snuck inside her school without her noticing him. He had a bad day with a mission, and he only wanted to watch her stop his heart from freezing.

The stupid missions Mellie had given him had already advanced to the intermediate level. The demon was very happy with the amazing progress of Henry. So he had given him harsher missions, crueler missions. Those that should not be given to a little kid.

Henry didn't mind doing them, most of the time he found them useless and without meaning.

Then he will remember Beth. The feeling he had from the first time he met her was still there, however, it was more intense than the first time.

"What are you doing here?"

The voice of Mellie resounded in his ears.

"Why are you watching her?"

Henry was on the balcony of the building looking at the beautiful girl. Her hair was again arranged in a ponytail of red hair, it was bouncing from side to side while she played with a basketball. She was awful at it. The number of tries she had failed could only be considered a disgrace to the teen generation.

However, she didn't stop trying, even more, she cheated. Henry couldn't help but smirk and laugh at her silly antics. She called her group of friends to make a little body pyramid and help her dunk like a pro. Some girls were recording it to later edit the shot and erase the foolish helpers.

"Who is she?"

Henry asked when she threw the ball and laughed like an idiot to the sky. She was even singing, "We are the champions…" with the worst high-pitched voice she could ever make.

"Tell me," Henry turned to see Mellie. He knew the demon had hidden her identity from him and knew why he felt familiar with him. "When did I meet her? Is she someone from my past life, my erased memories?"

Mellie raised a brow, but he already knew about her, "Win this game, and you will know."

"Tell me something, I already managed to come this far."

"Win," Mellie went down the stairs, and Henry knew that it was useless to get a word from him.

"Beth!"

The teens on the basketball court suddenly collapsed on their buŧŧs, and Beth landed on top of them.

"I dare you to say I am heavy!"

"You are fat!"

"Chubby land!"

"You are a baby… elephant!"

They incurred the anger of a beautiful red-haired girl with an awful aim, not only to the net but to reach the ordinary and simplest singing notes. Though, that could be a talent in itself.

She took a gun from inside her bag and pointed at them.

"You… die!"

Water… water was what came from that big blue pistol. They didn't manage to understand how did she bring that into the school. And how on earth did she prepare it without knowing…?

They were shot in the face before they could understand what was going on.

"Kyaaaa!!"

"This is unfair!"

"No! My clothes!"

Henry looked at her, she was happy and laughing and smiling. She was not beside him, but she was happy. On the other hand, he was desperate and sad. So sad.

There was an emptiness in his heart and his mind. Even if he came to a new world and his soul had started again a life, he couldn't feel anything. Not enthusiasm, not happiness, nothing. It was all meaningless.

Only she was able to fill that void little by little, though, it was not enough.

He got back to the Mansion, feeling dejected.

"Young Master?"

Mateo came to his side with several papers in his hands.

"Are you okay?"

Henry looked at him and didn't answer, "what is that?"

"It is the info on the other participants, they are only ten left."

"What about Norah?"

"She had not met the requirements to enter the competition, so she has not qualified."

"Good, let her be then," Henry took the papers and read them.

The competition had already started for him and five others. The other five had yet to begin the first introductory intermediate missions.

"Young Master, the second contestant…" Mateo fidgeted.

"What about him? He is Joaquin Vance, right?"

"Yes," Mateo hesitated, but then he spoke, "he had transferred schools to Miss Beth's."

Henry almost trashed the report in his hands.

"Why is he doing that?"

"We don't know his true reasons, but his family had incurred a severe debt and now are broken, they had sold their company and Joaquin Vance had transferred to a public school."

Henry's eyes narrowed. That guy was cunning and scheming, he would never do anything without a reason.

"Get the tests on her school begin, let them find out the talent of Beth."

If she is given a scholarship, then she will have to move schools, and so she will be safe in some other place.

"But…" Mateo didn't know what to do, sometimes he wanted to smack the head of his little master. "She won't like it, is there no other way?"

"It doesn't matter if she doesn't like it, this is for her own safety."

"Sigh… yes, young master," Mateo didn't have another choice but to trust Henry. Though, he knew it was a bad decision. Something that he may end regretting.
