The Queen Wicked Deeds

Chapter 137 - QK

The travel to the Blue Gang was unusually quiet. Henry and the old man Hesse were only watching from the windows without making a single sound.

Even their heartbeats were in silence.

"Boy, I will tell you something before we part ways."

The old man took out one piece of paper, it was yellow as if it was one page from an old book and had been torn apart from the cruelness of the old man's hands.

"The missions are not the only way to recover your memories," he gave Henry the paper and went out the car still moving. However, just before Henry could stop him from falling, the old man had already disappeared.

That day had been shocking to Henry, he didn't understand how the old man knew everything about the missions, the demons, Mellie, and even more, his own dėsɨrė. His deal was a secret between Mellie and him.

"What is going on?"

He opened the paper and saw a symbol. There were two letters, QK, it seemed to be a pretty old paper and the letters were vanishing. 'What is this?'

Henry frowned.

"Young Master?"

The poor driver was almost having a panic attack. He saw how the old man had jumped from the car as if he was not an elderly man that used a cane to walk.

"Go on," Henry ordered without minding the almost shocked man in the front seat. "We have to arrive in seventeen minutes."

"Yes, Boss!"

The man recovered his wits and pressed the pedal. They were already a bit far from the main base of the Blue Gang, and the team was already in position.

"I am bored," Beth was walking around the second escape room. There was a screen with numbers, some hints were on the left side and many cameras with the view of her school friends were on the right side.

The poor kids were alarmed and in panic. Some of them were even crying for their moms.

"Oh, don't be cowards!"

"Beth, is that you?"

They can hear her, "Why did you put me here?"

"I didn't do that, Jenny," Beth took one snack to her mouth, "I was also taken by some devious people."

"What?!"

"Yes, I am locked in an escape room and I can see everyone from some sort of cameras."

"Then, you should find the way to let us out, right? Or... we are going to die like the SAW movie, right?"

"Maybe..."

"Noooo!"

"Why do I have the honor of having you here, Young Master Mills?"

Billie didn't answer, his voice was in no way even near the one of Henry. So, he signaled Mateo to continue.

The man before them was an attractive man with long white hair and blue eyes. There were other people surrounding him with big guns in their waists and angry-looking faces.

"We came for business," Mateo stepped forward and put a portfolio on the table. "We hope you can comply with our request, Master White."

"What do you have in mind," the man signaled his Secretary to open the portfolio.

The man was showing serious and calm behavior, but inside he was excited. This was the first time the Mills Manor had reached to them, a gang of the worst reputation to make business.

Well, not the first time, because the uncle of Henry had tried to create connections with them, but he failed every time. He didn't even have the power within his own house, how dare he do chew more than he can take.

When the portfolio opened, the thing inside was a precious gem, a white gem, pure white. He knew what that meant. That thing was only a sample, a good and powerful sample of the thing they needed the best. White gems to boost their underground lab of illegal substances.

"What do you want in exchange for this, Young Master?"

"A seat on the Auction," Mateo answered.

The man with long hair smiled and nodded, "consider it done."

"Good," Billie nodded and signaled his men to go outside.

"Wait," the man with long hair stopped them, "why don't you stay for the party before the Auction, we can't let you stay away in this cold weather, right?"

Billie looked at Mateo and nodded. That was their mission, after all. An opportunity to infiltrate the White Gang Base to look for the treasure.

"Beth, how much we will have until our fate finds us?"

The little girl Jenny was on the floor looking at the ceiling. She was still trapped inside that room and Beth was doing nothing after fifteen minutes.

"I know you don't like me that much," she said with a contained sob, "but I thought of you as a dear friend, a companion. I am also in love with chocolate cakes, but I always left them to you... most of the time."

'This can't be that easy, right?'

She pressed some digits and suddenly the room where Jenny was staying started to tremble.

"Beth! What is going on?!"

"Ups, I guess I made a mistake."

"I am going to die!"

Henry arrived at the Blue gang gates with only his presence and no weapon. "I have an appointment," he said to the guard outside.

"Name."

"Henry Mills."

They passed through the car and only when the green light appeared in both devices, they let the car go inside.

Suddenly, as if the time was calling for strange weather to enter the stage, the sky became cloudy and an ominous rain poured in the land of the mortals.

Henry didn't care about the rain, he was even hoping for it.

"Young Master, we should wait another three minutes inside the car," they all have the things planned with the other team members.

"I know," Henry said, but he was already wearing his dark gloves. "I will go first, you wait here for the signal."

"But..."

"Don't worry," Henry smiled, "this will be only fun."

He stepped outside and a man with an umbrella was already waiting to escort him to the main base.

"It is an honor having someone from such a respectful family in our base," the man with sky blue hair extended his hand.

"It is good to know one of the generals," Henry shook his hand and they went inside the base.

The door closed and again, only the rain was the only sound that covered the night.

"I am sorry, okay? Please don't cry..."

Jenny was inside the room that a few minutes ago was shaking. The walls inside the room had become narrower than before.

"I am going to die being flattened out. I will explode because of you."

"You will not, I am not making any other mistake, right?"

"But... what are you doing now? Why are you not working?"

"What? Am I being paid by you to work my ȧss off?"

"You!"

"I am only resting my brain for a second, or I will commit mistakes."

She had already the puzzle solved and was eating cake by the side. It was so entertaining watching the blonde in the room enter into a panic state. She was at her mercy.

It was not because she was getting revenge or anything, not even because of jealousy, but the blonde in the room was one of the flirty girls that tried to appeal to Henry. She even sent beautiful poetry and sang a song at the school festival for Henry.

How can Beth tolerate such a thing?

That blonde can sing better than Beth at any time, and no one can deny it, even Henry applauded her performance.

However, when Beth stepped on the platform for her own talent performance, she only got shaking shoulders and muffled mouths. 'Why were they shaking in fear?' she thought.

She wasn't threatening their families to cut their heads. She only sang.

"Beth, when are you going to let me go? I have a show to do tonight."

"What do you mean?"

"I will quit college and become a celebrity."

"Why?"

"Why not?"

"..." she had a point. If she has the talents and the means, well, why not? "Good, but..."

"But..."

"I want a ticket to your show when we get out from this place."

"Consider it done," the girl smiled and raised her thumb to the camera.

"Sigh... fine..."

Beth pressed the right combination of numbers and a door by the end of the room opened.

"See you later, I still have three to save more."

"Oh, why were we the one selected? Do you know, Beth?"

Beth wanted to answer, but the camera shut down. "Because you are my friends."
